1. NO! Let the powindah burn by the fire of Elesef's divine rage!
 2. GATO. No doubt about it. Them and their democracy and "defending our allies" crap. Can't take it. How else did they survive on this game for so long? By being complete dickwads, uh-hun. Oh and Lanore. Total !@#$%.
 3.
where do i sign?
Do we really need a treaty to do some thing so simple?
 4. I don't know much about the former 3 alliances, but I like your name, so I guess that's a good start.
 5. For once both sides of the treaty web come together peacefully in a single thread on these boards, not to hail a new bloc, pour over logs or engage in debate, but to... troll a less active member.
 6. Clever. Clever. Let's see if that cleverness will do any thing for you when the nukes start flying.
 7. Hm. I knew some thing was missing. You guys wants shout-outs? Too bad. You're getting them.
RyanGDI: I don't know if you can even read this, but thanks for giving me a... Fun first summer. Emperor Nick: Thanks for taking me in. Zessa: Guerrilla Camp: Don't do it! Your guides were great. Thanks. Arrnea: I still think you're a pretty cool guy. Just keep your head on, alright? Locke: You on the other hand, are some pretty hot stuff. Found your head yet? Lanore: Keep being a creepy SoB so I can make fun of you. Tim & Manis: You guys were great leaders in GATO. Keep up the good work! Liz & Dream: I'd loathe the day where I'd have to fight against you two. Thanks for a fun war! Mio/Katsumi: You were a great Empress. Hope you're having fun in AODB. Haruhi/Elrich: I don't know what to say. You're great, man. Saniiro: Don't be so hard on your self. Keep up the good work. Belldandy/Diablofan: Don't tell Haruhi, but you're his Silent Workhorse. c: Rest of NsO: You guys are awesome. Stick around. Plenty of tentacles for every one. Tetris: Join NsO already. <3 BladeX33: You still suck at Gundam Vs., I bet. Jens of the Desert: Where would I be with out this uniquely British cynic? Roquentin: You're not as bad as most people make you out to be. But I'm sure you already know that. ExcessiveLime: Come back. :c Xoin, Kenadian, Sal, Esau, and all my Water Cooler brothas: Peace out. I really enjoy the company, even though I might not look like it.
8. Today my nation celebrates its 3rd birthday. 1096 days old. I thought long and hard about creating this thread. What would I write? What would the title be? Then it hit me: "!@#$. I've been playing this game for 3 years." So like so many who celebrate the anniversaries of their nations, I guess I'll just write. About what I've done, what I wish I did, what I wish I didn't, what I fear, what I hate and of course, what I love about this game. Will any body care? No. I don't expect any one to. Their nations are much more venerated than mine. Twice as old. Ten times as big. With borders that stretch beyond the boundaries of any single state, alliance or bloc. They have better things to do. It might seem selfish, but this is for me. Early Days (Early Summer, 2009)
When I first started playing, I had no idea what was going on. Straight up. I ended up joining an alliance. No wait. Not joining. Wrong. I changed my AA to that of an alliance that happened to exist already. What. The. $%&@. "You don't just go and create an alliance, man!" I would learn later on how right RyanGDI was, but also how wrong he was about the first thing he said to me. I wanted to skip this part. I didn't and still don't want to talk about my first summer here, but I have willed my self in to doing it any way. So the first thing I wanted to do was... buy 50 cruise missiles, then go to war for no reason but a "military exercise" with the Dynomite Pact (or what ever the $%&@ it was called.) Needless to say, my first taste of war was also one of defeat. My second taste of war, against VE... was also a defeat. I'd gotten a lot better, that's for sure. But fighting against a few guys who believed in what they were doing as a young nation with nothing but half a million dollars on his hands wasn't easy. Ryan told me to cheat aid out of the NPO (allies with VE at the time). He told me that TheMVP got a bunch of money that way and GDI's war effort could be supported by one of VE's own allies. After changing my flag and my AA though, I turned around and decided to "fight honourably." A while later, turns out VE had given us a peace offer that Ryan was considering. I became frustrated. "Why are we even having this war?" My anger was as much personal, self-directed as it was towards the entire game. Those who did wrong, and those who wanted to do right but did wrong in the process. His leadership was appalling. He expected us to take the hits for him. He wanted to weasel out of it. So I attempted a coup. I'd messaged a couple of other members (I know, we had other members, shocking.) and decided that I had enough support. The war will be carried on. Either that, or Ryan would agree to VE's terms. I failed. A couple of heated arguments later, I'd left the alliance. I'm not too sure the war ever really ended. GDI collapsed, Ryan was banned for some thing completely unrelated and VE just forgot. Luckily I'm pretty sure my antics didn't survive the forum move so good luck trying to find them.
Vladivostok to Moscow (Late summer, 2009)
I needed a place to lay low for a while. A safe haven, so to speak. After all that !@#$ I pulled I was pretty sure that no serious alliance would accept me, so I found The Russian Empire in a recruitment threads some where on these boards. They were cool people. I don't quite remember what happened there either, but in the end I left and they disbanded around the same time. I thought that I was bad luck for alliances at that point and being afraid of joining another micro, lest they disband.
Up in the cold North (winter, 2009 - early spring 2010)
For a while after, I had considered creating my own alliance. Then I remembered what happened during the summer. So I decided to leech off a bigger alliance, for knowledge and growth before I'd leave again. The New Polar Order seemed like a cool place, no pun intended. So I signed up. Here is where I truly learned the basics. I had this strange fascination with a certain Zessa, and for some reason, he was no where to be found. Any way, enough of him. Every thing was peaches and cream until BiPolar came along. Government's flip-flopping, I didn't appreciate one bit and I think I lost more infra than maybe I should have in that war. I was just WAITING for peace to be declared so I could get the hell out of there. The SOS Brigade called.
HARE HARE YUKAI (early spring 2010 - early fall 2010)
After a particularly devastating war, I wanted to lay back. Relax. Get to know people. The SOS Brigade did a magnificent April Fool's Day joke and I was immediately drawn to them, for many reasons. I'd already been frequenting their forums and their sense of community appealed to me, as well as common interests. SOS was a good home for a while. Until domestic violence started happening between some of the older members of the family. I still don't know exactly went wrong, but the deeper issue of Arrnea being paranoid of other government members caused a rift in senior government. The kicker came when a rogue was being dealt with and there was miscommunication between government. As much as half of the alliance left for Tetris, then proceeded to form their own alliance. I stayed out of most of it, even urging Arrnea to apologize for overreacting, he did. Sort of. I left the first place that I was comfortable to call home. Left it to a paranoid leader and a few of his lackeys. Funny. Every thing went down the drain for them after I left. Slowly, but surely. And yet another micro fell to my curse.
Cats and other furry animals (early fall 2010 - early summer 2011)
GATO. Cats. They were cool. What more can I say? GATO was an amazing place. A real sense of community. Democracy in a game that has a strange dearth of it. And of course, some real characters. You know who I'm talking about. A great time. Rolled with the best and fought with the worst over there. It was probably the first place where I was truly prepared for a war, wanted to fight, and did well. CN was fun at that time. You might think that it's strange I dedicate so little words to an alliance that I spent so much time with. Well, a picture says a thousand words: I still love all of you silly GATOans, and the not-so-silly ones as well.
And now, here I am in NsO. I can't say I've been paying too much attention to any thing these days. Now, I'm just here to enjoy my self. Why did I leave GATO? I don't know, I guess in the end, I don't quite belong any where. But that also means that I belong every where at the same, as well. Do I feel comfortable here in Sakura? Most of the time. Would I call about half the membership my friends? Of course. Yet some thing's always off. I get an itchy trigger finger, a pair of bored feet. My goal of creating an alliance for myself might never be fulfilled in this kind of political climate, but I'm quite content to see the world, settle down for a while. I know I'll be leaving the New Sakura Order. I don't know when, but the people of Cadia don't seem like they want to see the same old faces for ever. In the end, I don't think this is the game for me. But 3 years in and I'm unwilling to give up. There's just too many people to discover, still. Too many wars left unfought. Too many threads left un-read. Too many tragedies left folded and too many miracles left unseen. I've stayed here for 3 years, and I'll stay for longer. Pay bills every day. Until you like it.
 9. Da da dun da da dun da da dun! da da dun dun da da da dun! dun, dun dun da da da da da dun da da dun dun da da da dun dun! Praise Tetris! Onwards and upwards!
 10. Congrats, Parapluie! Symphony is a great alliance from what I've glimpsed from their home page.
 11. Congratulations on 6 years!
 12. Makes me want to rejoin GATO. Congratulations!
 13. I still remember your DoE. Good show VOC. Good show.
 14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkRFwIeTBy4 Congratulations! That flag looks awesome, I'll be using it soon hopefully!
 15.
Why do charters need to be long? Honestly, I've never been a legalistic person and I always thought excessive bureaucracy was something that slowed down progress.
I know. Doesn't preclude me from making jokes about it though.
The theme is pretty cool imo.
Yea, according to you.
xoin has been with me since day one, a true friend.
trueeedat.
I love your Senjougahara avatar by the way.
Thank you. She's my waifu.
 16. I was initially going to make some derisive and snide comment about your skimpy charter, or terrible theme, but then I saw that Xoin was in government. HAIL! o>
 17. I think I'd have to agree with Belisaurus. I was initially attracted to CN because I found a guy who would give me money like it was nothing. I grew very quickly and marvelled at my nation's progress. But then I realized that it would take years and years of intensive playing before I could get on his level. Then I sorta stopped caring and just stayed around to chat with friends. Opening the aid system like this certainly would make the political scene A LOT more interesting.
 18.
Couping, brb.
Worse than Blade. -1.
 19.
Why would I want to wear a paper crown anyway? To be the Supreme God-Empress of Greater Cardbordia?
Heh. Congrats to NsO and SOS!
 20.
Eva, and everyone else, can we not attack the alliances of disputed 'weeaboo'-or-w/e-ness? I mean, it's pretty silly. Also, those chanting "death to weeaboos" or whatnot, you've already won. Pls note the amount of, what you consider, anime-based alliances; that are scampering away from that to "oh some of us happen to like anime" land. SOS is a smoking crater, Arrnea's legacy is defeated, and the remains are literally and metaphorically floating out to sea. It's over, common trolls (and apparently ponies) have won the day. Now if you don't mind, please go and make enemies with alliances your own size and start more wars so we can have more fun! Morally attacking micro alliances is politically boring! xP
I think I'd have to agree with you for once.
 21. Wow I actually believed what WickedJ said a few days ago about how GPA was going to hit NpO for like 2 seconds there.
 22. Legends were plentiful in the past. Now, not so much.
