1. Great post, great people. Onward MI6!
2. OMG I've been looking for this.
3. I'm sorry our different personality and high self-assurance exasperates you so. I hope this isn't how you conduct business within your alliance, I imagine everyone having the same personality low self-esteen can get rather tiresome. I offer this advice, being accepting of different opinions is healthy and beneficial. It can help you grow as a person and as an alliance. I offer no accusations of wrong doing, but instead suggest that "rolling" things that annoy you can be construed as a character flaw, just as loudness and repetition can. Maybe both sides have some faults here. I'm also glad that you were one of our proponents for longer than most, but I also find your logic flawed. If you were exasperated at our "bull" before the war, our OWF presence is a lot stronger now so "rolling" likely had the opposite intended effect. I'll look you up on IRC and we can chat further.
4. Welcome to the fray STA! May your nukes always stay glowing!
5. Ah, it was a lighthearted "I'm coming to murder your alliance" joke. Those always leave me in stitches. My bad.
6. It's statements like this that reassure me that Oculus has the moral high ground in this war. MI6 are clearly the biggest jerks on OWF. Case closed.
7. I'm just gonna put it out there that there is also a James Bond Movie called "The World is Not Enough." Oddly fitting for this war. Also, it stars Pierce so it sucks, much like this war.
8. I just want to say that stereotypes are harmful and that's only half our membership. The other half just find Oculus to be a blight on Bob and find the morons fun to be around. We're quite fun when you get to know us. More to the point, I'd like to add my voice to the "Really NPO?" chorus and welcome TPF to glorious combat.
9.
Thanks for the insight, I feel better for legion now that IAA cant perform. lol By the way, aggressive treaties being honored, especially odp's say you are a B**** so I'm happy IAA as a whole likes to consider themselves that...
Well, I thought that was fairly obvious by the links being posted but I'm glad my spelling it out for you helped you toward that insight. If you arguement is that
odp's say you are a B****
then you will be happy to know that is was an oA part of a pact that was activated. Either way your argument is not very persuasive.
10. Hello CN forums, it's been a while. Just thought I'd give you a little bit of an IAA member's opinion on Zeke's going on and such. First of all, treaties (in and of themselves) should simply be the formal recognition of an already existing intention to defend each other between two friendly alliances. The fact that a treaty doesn't exist or wasn't announced or any such similar arguments are quite useless. The fact of the matter is we are friends with NsO and NsO asked us to join them in attacking Legion. So we did. On the home front, both parties handled this quite poorly with Zeke beginning to immediately accuse JW of a hostile take over and JW shutting him down rather quickly. The other facts of this are, every active IAA member including myself supports JW's interpretation of this and his leadership even if Zeke (through posting of screen shots and other business) is technically correct as decided by the CN forums, it won't matter in the larger scheme of things as IAA does not support him. As per our rather poor showing on an offensive front, well, inactivity is certainly a bit of an issue here. No doubt about that. However, while there are still a few of us who have pride in IAA's name and legacy (as tarnished as it may be right now) we will still live on. I'm still willing to go to ZI for IAA and I know the 7 (or so) men who attacked with me are as well. While it may not count for much, it still counts for something. Edit: transitional phrases are nice 2nd Edit: Hi d2m, I'm inactively active.
11. Heck Ya LoSS. Still standin' strong. Also, hi MK.
12. The intention behind that post was "yes we had spies, they're still in CN and therefore in alliances, but they're not spies, nor ours, because they don't give/take/steal/etc information for us and neither have they ever". So, in effect, all we had were volunteers whom we turned down, the honorable thing to do wouldn't you folk agree? Anathema has never received information from spying nor asked for it. Edit: Also, as far as "planting" from what I understand they just came forward to spy on their own alliance. Maybe you all should look to your own members for spies. Double Edit: Also, I too am gone from this. Best of luck Kev. Last Post here.
13. Hi BloodFury, It's nice to see you roaming around our topics with your hypocrisies and such. I really don't see what you're so hurt about. You quit the project and it was no hard feelings from us. I can only assume that since you're here and feel the impulsive need to bash the project you were once a part of, that has no real problem with you, that you are one of two things: A) Jealous or B) A crappy person that enjoys bashing people for the fun of it I'm going to assume its not B) to save you some face and A) is the only other logical conclusion, I think I need go no farther. As for the spying, I believe I can clear this up. My understanding, upon entering this alliance, was that we would "do whatever it takes" to achieve our goals. We had the same sort of ideals, but a more radical take on achieving them. You know, infiltrate alliances, start coups, change the world... it was really rather naive and silly. We decided before our creation that it was just that and decided to go about it in the more traditional since of starting an alliance and recruiting and such to form a new power alliance, as all alliances want to do. Some people saw this as giving up and left the project, i.e. why we have less nation strength than we planned. So, Bloodfury, to answer your accusations. Yes, our original spies are in other alliances, but they aren't reporting to us because we do not condone spying. -Rebirth
14.
base color flag. black cross and some kind of icon or symbol(s) on it kinda like STA http://images.wikia.com/cybernations/images/e/e0/Flag_of_the_Siberian_Tiger_Alliance.svg, IAA http://images.wikia.com/cybernations/images/6/6a/Empireflag.png Also silly me, wheres my manners. Welcome back Nemesis.. EDIT: i was told you guys would be DoEing with nearly 2 million NS, wheres all the stats?
Hey wickedj, I'm glad you showed up to our DoE. It really wouldn't have been complete without "that guy" bashing us. Welcome to the party, please continue. Some fuel for thought, I'm technically still an IAA member. Please commence with the "SPIEZ" comments. Thanks, RoG
15. With the creation of a new alliance comes a new, blossoming friendship between Anathema and LoSS. I am proud to announce the beginning of a new era of shared growth and prosperity. o/ LoSS and o/ Anathema, soon to be the best of friends. Also, we're not Nemesis just so you know.
I Swear We’re Not Nemesis 2.0 Pact Preamble Recognizing the bonds shared by the League of Small Superpowers and Anathema, both alliances do hereby enter into a treaty of Mutual Defense and optional Aggression. Article I Both parties recognize the sovereignty of the opposite alliance. Neither will seek to impose upon their sovereignty in any way, shape or form. Article II Both alliances of this treaty recognize that should one signatory alliance be attacked by a foreign power, the other signatory shall come to their defense through all possible channels. However, if the assaulted signatory alliance is involved in a conflict via other treaties or through the actions of another bloc, this defense becomes optional. Article III Due to the love that exists between Nemes-err…Anathema and LoSS, other alliances should fully expect them to be in any war together, including an offensive war (although this treaty does not obligate such). Article IV In order to amend this treaty the parties must come together and mutually agree on the changes. Article V Should either party choose to cancel this treaty, they must give 72 hours notice in private. Signed, LoSS Co_God_Ben - Triumvirate Desert_Ratz - Triumvirate Legion-x - Triumvirate Chels - MoFA Anathema Incitatus - Emperor Rebirth of Gorniar - Soon to be Praetor of the Sapienti...once he untangles himself from the war James Maximus - Praetor of the Sapienti flyingscotsman - Sapienti of the Outside World
Let the mindless hailing begin and usher in this era of friendship!
16.
Ten. There are ten of us.
Sorry, I giggled a bit.
17. And you telling me how I should view my friends actions makes little sense, doesn't it?
18.
No. The fact that IAA gov supported the decision does not invalidate my point. If you think it does, I would love for you to show me how. All of my arguments that lead up to show their cowardice remain applicable regardless of what IAA or whatever says. If IAA wanted GATO to leave, understandable. However, magicninja explicitly stated that their reasoning for leaving the war was because they don't want to burn for Polar. Therefore they found the necessity for not burning for Polar more important than helping out a friend. Do you see now? Or maybe you need some more deflections before we get this drilled into your head.
And IAA decided to be a good friend and not force their good friend to suffer for someone they're not all that fond of. IAA's quite fine thank you, and doesn't need you hurting its allies.
19. Also, for the record, IAA supports GATO's decision to exit the war. They're their own alliance and can forge their own path. We bear no ill will towards them.
