  1. It's a shame that Crimson guard didn't get destroyed. They pretend like they are really important, while in reality they are a fairly small, weak and disorganized alliance.
  2. Great treaty o/ WAPA o/ TGE Long live the Germans and the Scottish!
  3. This guy was kicked out of FOK because of bad behavior on one of his previous aliases, I am not paying my respect to him. Respect needs to be earned.
  4. Yeah he does this every 3 months or so. Don't know why that makes him a great man.
  5. Damn now we have to work on our orange trade circle zone again
  6. This is false, -Aid- was a ~ alliance and not a UJH alliance. I am sure of this because we fought them. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=2065 TPF was the first UJH alliance to surrender.
  7. I can only speak for FOK. We were a bit annoyed with it but the bigger factors, the real reasons for FOK for canceling with NPO were outlined in this topic. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=53679 We didn't really turn against NPO, we stepped out of Q in February because the continuum made the game boring, and we wanted more action. At the time we were military prepared for an all out attack on FOK but it never came. The Karma war came in may and we fought against NPO because we were needed on that front, nothing more nothing less. We couldn't fight IRON treatywise, and our top tiers weren't suited for other alliances.
  8. Vladimir is right, I can't speak for other alliances but FOK wouldn't have joined the continuum if either GGA NOV or NpO were going to be part of it. We had issues with NpO because of their UJW display, their interference in two FOK conflicts with an alliance called "the peace", and their conflicts with TOP. I do think that NPO's intention with the continuum was to kill NpO, but in the end the NPO weren't that sure anymore and protected them for some time. Probably knowing that when they would lose Polar they would be more vulnerable for attacks from other alliances which the Karma war showed.
  9. FOK minister of Defense during the Unjust war. I remember the moment I entered #unjustmassacre, I knew the war was lost. It was all about the lolz and nobody took the war seriously. I also saw that we didn't have enough alliances in the channel. The UJP alliances were very weak diplomatically. I also remember that Slayer wanted to hit NTO. TPF was however needed for Polar, and it would be serious overdeployment. I told GOONS that we (FOK 1,6 million NS) could hit NTO, and crush them. It was an epic midday rush with over 300 DOW's in 1 hour. One day later -aid- came to help NTO, and the day after GATO declared on us too using a PIAT to enter the war. We managed to get the first surrender in the war with the help of or friends. In hindsight several UJP alliances regrouped and took revenge during the war of the coalition and the Karma war. Alliances like GOD, ROK (former \m/ and ASC), Umbrella (former Genmay), MK, FARK, TOOL and FOK are now on top of the game. Lots of ~ alliances got beaten down after the Unjust war by ~. Alliances like GATO, LEGION, NOV, IAA, Atlantis, CIS and Illumatie got killed in curb stomps. BLUE, Polar and STA were taken out during the war of the coalition. NPO, IRON, MCXA, GGA, Echelon got theirs during the Karma war, making the revenge of the Unjust path complete
  10. What makes a good alliance? In my opinion the following factors are important. 1. Unity 2. Activity 3. Good leadership 4. Passion for war 5. Brotherhood I think my own alliance (FOK) is an example of a good alliance. There is unity in FOK because we only accept Flemish and Dutch people. We all speak the same language and all FOK'ers are on the orange team and fly the FOK flag in game. Activity is very important, if there is no activity you can't plan thing and won't get things done. FOK forum is always active and our irc is active too. One hour before the attack on the New Pacific Order we had 90 people in our private irc, of 250 people flying the FOK aa ingame. Leadership also plays a very important role in an alliance. Bad leadership can become the end of an alliance. Lots of players tend to believe that democracies don't work, FOK is a democracy and I think it works for us. The general membership made the government withdraw from the Continuum with the help of the binding referenda were 90% of the FOK'ers voted in favour of leaving the continuum. The leadership (the council of five) was against it, but respected the wishes of the membership. Once FOK was out of the continuum the leadership made sure we wouldn't become an easy target. Treaties were signed with strong friends like the Mushroom Kingdom, Poison clan and Argent and we prepared for a curbstomp on FOK and bought lots of nukes, MHP's SDI's WRC's and meanwhile we kept increasing warchests. If an alliance has no passion for war, it is really hard to get the membership to buy those important wonders, built warchests and read the guides. You need a membership with a passion for war otherwise you might become an easy target like NADC, GPA and GOLD were. Brotherhood is the last key element. Once !@#$ hits the FAN you need people to stick together and follow orders. Individual surrender isn't an option!
  11. The Lion is the official symbol from Holland. Some Dutch companies and our soccerteam use it.
  12. Good post, don't forget the decommission of factories and the forced removal of government members.
  13. Thats unfair Revanche, you knew FOK and LEO would help were needed.
  14. LEO has 2000 nukes more than Poseidon. LEO and chestnut are underrated too. But I agree Poseidon will also be an important factor.
