1. Oh yeah what and what exactly have you or your alliance ever done? Hmmm?
2. Yeah, I was worried I wouldn't get it in before the announcement Sorry to steal your thunder CSN ;)
3. I was in Genesis for years, and they became almost family. However, I've enjoyed my time in the Kingdom even more than I could have ever expected. Farewell to everyone, I'll see you all on the other side.
4. At least the more 'main' alliances, like NPO, Polar, MK, ODN, etc are still around. While seeing something as old as CSN go is never a good thing, at least the rest of us are still here for a while to fill up the space their disbandment creates!
5. Who doesn't love dolphins? Personally they're my favorite.
6. I raided the terran empire before it was cool how are you yurrei
7. Michael Fredrickson entered the room wide eyed and in awe as he glanced at the people gathered from across the globe. However, after realizing how unprofessional a look this appearance gave him, he quickly traded his expression for something more serious. With the President of Ontario, Akira Williamson, busy dealing with recent weather-related catastrophes occurring in his country, the duty had fallen on Michael to attend the meeting. He quickly found his seat and quietly sat down, sipping his glass of water and exchanging a friendly nod with a another attendee nearby.
8. ** International ** A series of devastating floods have hit Ontario, wrecking its cities and claiming the lives of thousands. It is unknown what the total damages will amount too; however whatever they are, this catastrophe will prove to be President Williamson's first test as leader of this country. OOC: Things will pick up after school gets out next week. stupid finals.
9. Ontario has responded to the missive sent by the Vanguard stating that they are free to use Ontarian airspace, however Ontario shall not offer any further support to the Vanguard, as it would like to remain as neutral as possible in the conflict at this point.
10. ** International ** In a close and heated race, Ontario is proud to announce the end of it's presidential elections. Coming away with 52% of the vote and a majority of districts, and officially becoming the first president of Ontario, was Akira Williamson. The next closest contender, Kyle Tab, received 45% of the popular vote. (margin of error of +/- 2%) Williamson will immediately assume command of the government and will be sworn in later today. ** Private ** "Congratulations, Akira." Micheal was standing in front of a sitting Akira, smiling wide, with his hand extended offering a congratulatory shake. Akira, however, sat solemnly, eyes closed. Despite his victory, he was not overjoyed. Sensing this, Micheal's smile faded a bit as he lowered his hand. "What is wrong? This is what we wanted, what we worked for, and what we expected. Enjoy it." "This election was supposed to be a wash. I needed a much higher vote percentage to achieve the legitimacy I need in order to pass some of my more controversial changes. But that Tab, he back stabbed us, and stole my votes." He glanced up at Micheal, finally opening his dark eyes. "I want him arrested," Akira commanded coolly. He stood up, hands behind his back, pushing his chair out of the way. "We will find a reason later. Today begins my rule, and I shall not tolerate people who think they can mess with Akira Williamson."
11.
You should have merged with GOD
To be fair, some of our members did go to GOD I had a great time in Genesis, but it simply became too inactive. thanks especially to Empi and Templar for starting Genesis and sticking with it the whole way through
12. Kind of funny how close MK and NpO are from this angle
13. ** Private ** The doors flew open as Akira came charging in, quickly followed by two nearly identical blond men dressed in suits and sunglasses. Akira continued to his desk and slammed his fist upon it. As he turned around, the two men stood at attention, fear hidden behind their shades. "What the Hell is going on!?" Akira demanded. "The election is tomorrow, and Tab has yet to drop out! I thought you said you had this handled!" Fury danced on his face as he stared the two men down. "Sir, he agreed to the deal and accepted the money we offered him," the rightmost and taller of the two men began. "We do not know what happened, it appears he had double crossed us." "Double crossed us? Double crossed us!? This is on your heads. I entrusted you with this task, and you have failed me! You have failed your president." "But sir, how are you so sure you will beat Tab? The election isn't until tomorrow?" "We wouldn't have to worry about that if you had made sure Tab followed the plan as I wanted it. Now I am out three million and an overwhelming majority in the elections! I should have simply payed off the polling stations instead. It would have been cheaper and I wouldn't have had to deal with all of this. Now, out!" Akira pointed toward the open doors, and the two men quickly left as commanded, shutting the doors quietly behind them. Now alone in his office, Akira closed his eyes and leaned back on his desk. "Who does this Tab think he is?" he mumbled to himself. "He'll pay for this. Once I win the election tomorrow, I'll make sure he wishes he never back stabbed me." There was no major battle lost with Tab's betrayal. Akira was still the favorite to win the election. However, the race would be closer than he wanted. Akira planned to play off an apparent large public support to pass some of his early legislation, and building off of said legislation he could eventually gain the presidency as long as he wanted. But now it would be harder. Not impossible, but harder. Though to be fair, Akira always loved a challenge. He opened his eyes.
14. Voted proposal 1. I like there being a larger number of divisions, and not allowing nations with only 1500 tech to create the same things as a 5000 tech nation, just less efficiently. That's a pretty big tech difference, and what they are able to build should reflect that.
15. OOC: My time got eaten up by a EU III run xD IC: * International * In a stunning turn of events, lead candidate Derek Balke has announced he will no longer be seeking the presidential position for Ontario. With only weeks to go before the election, he has undoubtedly disappointed his supporters across Ontario, leaving Williamson and Tab as the new lead runners for president. Balke cited 'personal reasons' for his departure from the race, however added no further information. Tab is expected to pick up most of what would have been Balke's votes.

17.
A simple "shut up" would have sufficed on the MK boards, I'm not one to disrespect whatever rules you lay down when I'm a guest in your home, especially if I want to remain there (which I do). So, a formal request, possibly with a hint of being a diplomatic request, that the ban be lifted? I'll mind my own business if you want me to just shut up.
I don't know how good MK is with second chances. What I do know is that I'm glad I didn't submit my bracket for tech
18. Requesting the following area for Ontario, DoE is already up http://img638.imageshack.us/i/ontariomap.png/
19. http://img861.imageshack.us/i/ontarioflag.png/ (OOC: My flag, imageshack seems to be giving me an invalid image extension" * Private * Michael Fredrickson was sweaty at the podium. A microphone stood in front of his face, and the Ontarian flag behind him. This would be the first time he had ever been on TV; nothing worth putting on television happened in the remote town of Port Severn where he had grown up. However, he attended college in Toronto, and it was in Toronto that he met a young oil tycoon named Akira Williamson. Williamson, though on-quarter Japanese, had been born and raised in Toronto and quickly rose to prominence in the oil industry. He was one of those campaigning to become Ontario's first president, and it was he who recommended that Michael announce the nation's independence. Due to his vast wealth, it was not hard to make others agree. "Okay, we're rolling in three," a cameraman began, holding up three fingers for Michael to see, staring through the lens of his giant camera. Michael adjusted his collar. "Two" He adjusted his papers. "One" He patted down his hair. "Aaaannnd, we're live." The cameraman pointed at Michael, signaling the start of the live broadcast. Michael inhaled. * Public * "The history and culture of the people of the Canadian region is rich. In particular, we the people of Ontario wish to embrace this culture. On this day, the nation of Ontario declares its independence from it's gracious protectors of Pravus Inguro. Elections for Ottowa's first President will be held on the first of the month. We the people of Ontario would like wish each and every candidate the best of luck during their run for the Presidency," Michael paused. "For the past few weeks, the winds of a new beginning have blown in Ontario. Those winds blow strongest today." * Private * "Aaaannnnd, cut. Okay, the news stations we're broadcasting to should have switch back to their own programs. That's a wrap." It was over that quickly. The single most antagonizing moment of Michael's life was over. He smiled. "Ah, there he is." Akira Williamson walked into the room, his smile as wide as his open arms. Black seemed to be this mans color; a black suit, black shoes, black pants, a black tie, black hair and large, black pupils which matched his navy blue eyes. "You did great, Mikey." "Akira! What are you doing here?" Michael stood up and hugged his old friend. "Hey, I can't thank you enough for doing this for me." "No, no, don't thank me. I reward my friends. Why don't we go over to my place and celebrate our new independence?" He gestured toward the stairs which led to one of the building's exits. "Sure, but I've probably got to tell someone here-" "No, I've handled everything. They know you're leaving right after your big announcement. Come on." And with that, they left the building. Outside was a long, black limo. Akira opened the door for and followed Michael into the vehicle. Inside the dark car were several other men, including Akira's running mate, Richard Walls. Richard was a tall man with a dark complexion. As soon as the car started, he turned to Akira and asked "How did it go?" He was grinning twice as wide as Akira was, however his eyes were obscured by a pair of large, black sunglasses. "Perfectly," Akira responded. "Um, Jim, have you settled the business I asked you to?" A short, muscular, blond man answered: "As long as everyone keeps their promises, it looks like you're guaranteed the presidency. Everything's fixed." It was his turn to grin. "President Williamson," Michael said. "It has a nice ring to it." It seemed like everyone in the vehicle was smiling now. "It does, doesn't it?" Akira responded. "When does the voting actually begin?" "In three weeks," Jim replied. "Your lead opponent has agreed to drop out of the race 'for personal reasons' by Tuesday, and Tab says he'll quit shortly after as well. You'll be the only candidate on the ballot." "Wonderful. Though it cost us a pretty penny. George, drive us to my house," Akira called to the driver. "I need to treat Michael here for his excellent speech." And with that, the black limo pulled off of the curb and into traffic.
20. Wow, you guys have been trading longer than my nation has existed. That's quite an accomplishment.
21. Heck, even I'll give this a try
22.
Depends if everyone realises it's Emperor_Tiberus. Otherwise he might go under the radar.
I may now have to go back and change my pick.
23. Congratulations to my allies in NpO on getting peace. I wish you well in your rebuilding. Also, surprised to see the terms as light as they were. Good show PB.
24. 14. If you want to infiltrate the enemies nation, send them 2,000 soldiers by foreign aid offer. Make sure to include 50 tech (their equipment) and $3 million (for expenses) in the deal as well.
