I might be a little late to this topic but the rules remain the same. So far in this thread not only have i seen reference to an alliance acronym that is inappropriate and therefore against game rules, moderation issues discussed outside the correct forums and a fair bit of baiting too. Those of you who have been involved in the behaviour i have mentioned above know who you are, and i suggest you start rectifying yourselves before i reach you. Yes TE is supposed to be a fun more fast paced and war filled version of the Standard Edition, but it is NOT a place where the rules are relaxed. Learn them, or fall foul to them. It's your choice. Those of you displaying inappropriate alliance names have a very short period of time to make them disappear before they are forcibly removed.

Some interesting results here. Many of you hold the assumption that the threads are useful to someone, yet most of you admitted to never having used them yourself. Unfortunately the guide threads don't get enough views or enough entries to warrant their existence. This thread hasn't even had that much attention in all fairness. Result is the alliance guides are being removed. The player created alliance forums will still exist and alliances can create their own recruitment thread and keep it active (please note this is within reason). I feel this is a more representative way to show new players what alliances are recruiting. Thanks to all those who participated in this poll.

Most cases are handled on a case by case basis. But generally some common sense is required. If you think someone is breaking the rules, report it in the correct forum rather than just continuing to comment on it in the same thread because that only makes the issue worse.

If he is only visiting you temporarily and you normally have different networks then your answer is to request a nation sitting permit. That way you can legally both access your nations from that one network for the temporary perdio you specified. Otherwise no its against the game terms of service and you'll get deleted.

Some time ago the Alliance Guide thread for SE was cleared and started again with a request that alliances re-submit their entries. I noticed that many alliances have never bothered to re-submit an entry and that it does not accurately reflect the current alliances the game has to offer. I also decided to create a tournment edition specific alliance guide entry and have found that has had so few entries i wonder if anyone is actually reading it. So i decided to ask you directly, do you ever read them?

Suggestion rejected. I don't see how this will enhance the game, and its too easily avoided by creating A and B alliances under the same ruling.

This is correct. Have you not considered that the one person who got deleted was actually a multi?

I would recommend trying to find someone who isn't already sitting, but if it gets to the last minute and you still can't find someone, submit a request via the nation sitting thread and it will be down to the mod approving you. I would say as a last resort it may be do-able.

Providing there are no game interactions with the same network you will be fine.

If you were warned for an offensive war reason then yes the offensive war reason is removed. You are welcome to re-declare, but it must be with a non-offensive reason.

So you have all the existing forum space on these boards, the in-game messaging system, your own alliance forums (probably) and a very large community that use IRC and which gives you the opportunity to create any kind of chat room you could possibly want....... .......and after all that you still don't feel you have enough relevant space to discuss what you need? Seriously?!?!
