Congratulations on the (relatively) peaceful transition of power my friends. I'm sure Chefjoe doesn't remember it, but he was in fact the first alliance leader I sought out as the head of SNAFU. Many, many congratulations on being the fine people you are. The stats are cool and all, but it's the membership that's special. Keep it up guys.

Today the page turns for the alliance of SNAFU. We’ve now been together as residents of Planet Bob for 3 years. At the start of our fourth year we’d like to honor all of those who at one time have or currently fly the SNAFU colors. These individuals are only those who’ve gone on to full membership and have at one time or another been assigned a SNAFU nation ID. Thank you all for being a part of our family for no matter how brief a time. SNAFU has, like many, had its ups and downs with activity but we’ve always had a home to return to no matter where our other commitments have dragged us. As a token of commitment to another 3 years we’ve decided that our home needed a little bit of a touch up and as such we’ve refreshed and flushed out our forums. You can still find us at www.cnsnafu.com but we have not carried over any of the old masks or embassies so if you need something from the old forums just let us know and we can retrieve it otherwise, there’s a new canvas for us all to scribble on with our Crayolas. Speaking of crayons, when you do sign up at the SNAFU forums be aware that there are 12 skins to choose from so hopefully everyone will find something they’re comfortable with. Please come by old friends and new and check out the new digs. We’ve added a number of features not the least of which is a built in lottery system that will allow nations to earn tech and cash. So get collecting, winning or stealing as many points as possible! Finally, as one of our members said recently we’re “social media Neanderthals” so just like many a modern 3 year old we’ve established both a [url=http://www.facebook.com/pages/Snafu-Cybernations/219635981419119]Facebook page[/url] and a Twitter feed. We will be having a little contest to celebrate our anniversary so we will be doing a raffle for anyone who “likes” our Facebook page and answers the following three questions (please PM them to me here or on our forums): What were the names of the 10 founders of SNAFU? What alliance changed its name to Tempest, the original home of SNAFU’s founders? Who was the original second in command of SNAFU? Hurry up and enter, we will be posting the results of the raffle in this thread not later than 48 hours from now! The prize will be 300 tech or cash equivalent paid out in whatever manner you choose!
