I'd like to request my name be removed from this 'fund'. Also asking for the removal of any Sakuran funds allocated to this. As much as I personally dislike Bernkastel, our alliance as a whole has mixed stances and better uses for this tech.

It appears that one of Legion's members have surrendered to a lone member of our alliance. This was immediately after they launched a strike with 50 bombers, lost almost all of them, and did no damage.

I think Unknown Smurf has systematically destroyed any hopes of good propaganda from this war. Although I do appreciate him coloring me in as a beautiful girl. [/quote] For Legion's overall considered member count/nation strength, the damage we have done in one night through a blitz is minimal. However, the lack of counters and the method of the minimalistic counters (so far I've, for instance, only gotten hit by four cruise missiles and two failed spy ops) goes to show something. We can't really determine anything for ourselves towards how Legion works until we've been at this for a few days, but the showing so far has to amount to something. This war really won't hem down to a matter of who has the most nukes, the most NS, or the most members, while it remains this size. It'll hem down right now to whose the most active, whose got the most cash on hand, who can survive the most days, and who can use all of the above to their advantage. Superior coordination always means something. Quality over quantity does, too. Myself and my government have organized this to the best extent we view possible as of the moment. Probably could have staggered a bit, although it wouldn't be nearly as effective t our size. But, hey, gotta work with what you're capable of.

No need to beat around the bush here. We're pretty close to the Blue Turtle Alliance, and some of our respective members function like honorary ones in both alliances at times. So, we found it fit to upgrade the treaty with BTA. Well, isn't it interesting that I've been called for to write a speech? Haven't done so in awhile. If you expect negative words out of me in this thread, despite my bitter resentment of what the Brigade has become and remains, you are looking at the wrong post and the wrong thread to see me relinquish control of my emotions and submit to anger. I refuse to do so here because I've been called upon in what I could call a proper manner. One which does not seem to harness any rage or bitterness in it, and only asks in a poetic form of sorts for me to do as I have chosen to do: write a reply. My time in the SOS Brigade numbered almost a year. It was a long stretch for me, considering I'd been a typical alliance hopper for some time following my leave from Norden Verein months before it was crushed under the boot heel of the Continuum. It was quite possibly one of the longest tenures I've maintained in such an alliance, only overshadowed by the only other two alliances I've seriously decided to call 'homes'. While the end of my time and many others times there wasn't exactly the greatest of things, and the calamity that ensued in those final days cannot be viewed as anything other than criminal, they were still good times. The months I spent there were joyous. Curing the boredom of my beloved Goddess through my efforts was not something I view as done in vain. Setting the course of Foreign Affairs, reigning in the military and crushing foes in the first war that faced us. Taking the helm that was given to me after Arrnea departed his position. Every moment of my time in that 'Brigade', in that 'family', I still in some regards cherish. In spite of the bitter past and the bitter present, I'll actually offer cheers here. May those who have brought the Brigade to where it was and where it is now continue to forge it's path, hopefully without misguided and mislead words.
