1. The tattered streets of Tokyo, and several other cities, rang a silent call across the nation. The dream of a greater Japan was obviously a fluke, and something that shouldn't have been pursued a second time. The end of the reign of Suzumiya had marked a closure in the history of a once-great nation and it's ever-enduring culture. The dark chapter that the Empire now witnessed was during a period of inactivity and decline. The joyous celebrations that once filled the streets years before were nonexistent, with civilians running for the nearest bomb shelter instead of the cherry blossoms and shrines. The Empress sighed, knowing that she wouldn't be able to do anything further to save 'her' nation. Letting out a final tear, she took the ceremonial sword that the Japanese people saw as a sacred treasure: Kusanagi. Breathing for the last time, she took the sword and ran it through her stomach, performing the ritual known as 'harakiri' (ritual suicide). Viewing this as the only way to retain her honor, and the honor of the Japanese people, she ended her life silently in this manner within the palace. Shortly afterwards, servants would discover this great tragedy, and it would ring throughout the nation. Advancing troops would now see Japanese troops surrendering without a bullet fired, flags in all areas moved to half-mast. Japan had died along with it's Empress.
 2. NERV Headquarters appeared like any normal office building, lacking any distinctive markings from the outside, and was hidden quietly in downtown Tokyo. The existence of a multi-million dollar government contractor in this part of the city was something any normal Imperial citizen would be shocked to learn about, but sometimes the government needed to keep secrets. When the 'Director' of the corporation, whom only communicated formally through voice-mail with his employees, including his board of directors and his own sub-director, was offered a direct contract for weapons research and development for the state, many of the employees in the company were shocked. Ono Daisuke, as the 'face' of the company abroad and nationwide as the Sub-Director was overjoyed with the news. The opportunity to construct weaponry for the country also brought interest of development cooperation between neighboring countries. The Empress had found it suitable to approach the Marscurians for co-development of what would be the latest and best in Japan's arsenal. Despite the smaller size and technlogical difference, Marscurian Siberia had made attempts to become cordial and friendly with the Japanese state on past occasions, and dossiers on it showed it's leadership as trustworthy enough to approach for such an endeavour. A letter was sent out from NERV Headquarters, stamped with the Imperial Seal of Japan to show the approval of the Empress.
Leaders of Marscurian Siberia, It is with great hopes for the future that we at NERV contact you today. In the hopes of furthering our ties to the next level, the Empress has humbly decided to extend the contract she has made with our corporation for weapons development to mechanical engineers and military observers of your nation. By doing this, we hope to give you the tools necessary to defend your nations against those that have a technological advantage against you, as well as to further improve the already cordial, and positive, relations between our respective countries. We look forward to your reply. Signed, Ono Daisuke Sub-Director of NERV Approved by: Empress Minori Chihara, Greater Japanese Empire (Seal)
3. The Greater Empire of Japan is willing to offer the Canadian Commonwealth a good sum of F-16E fighters that are being outprocessed from our stock.
 4. OOC: One last bump for justice, reply pl0x.
 5. The Japanese Imperial Government was a little surprised at the receipt of the broadcast. Although the country of Marscurian Siberia was relatively close to the Russian prefectures of the Empire, the government of Japan usually (both in the present and the past) tended to not concern itself much with affairs beyond the Amur River. Construction projects and migration of Japanese nationals to the prefectures had been occurring on a regular basis over the years, but beyond that, not many reports of any merit reached the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. The Empress' reaction upon receiving a written copy of the broadcasted message was a mixture of curiosity and interest. The proposal by the Marscurians was an earnest one, and didn't have any negative aspects to it, beyond gaining the Japanese Empire a new friend in the Far East. A reply was quickly sent back.
To the government of Marscurian Siberia, Your proposal is one of great interest to us, and we would be happy to lease you a portion of our Siberian holdings to build a serviceable port and settlement. In the future, we hope to broaden our friendship and cooperation with your people, and only hope for the best in terms of our future relations. Signed, Empress Minori Chihara Japanese Provisional Diet
6. On the balcony above, a figure began to make her way towards the crowd below. She wasn't dressed in some form of Imperial dress, but wore a traditional Japanese summer yukata for this event. Behind her was a the aged Wakamoto whom had accompanied the delegates from the airport to the Palace. She looked down from the balcony through the bulletproof glass and eyed the delegates that had come here to see her country and her Palace. Coughing momentarily in preparation of speaking her first words as Empress to these foreign guests, she finally began to speak. "Greetings, emissaries of nations across the globe that have come to visit us. Allow me to humbly introduce myself as the Empress of this nation, Minori Chihara, the one whom invited you here amidst pomp and circumstance to join the festivities this nation is now undertaking. The rebrith of the Japanese Empire has sparked much celebration among the civilian masses, something which the government has joined in on by inviting you here today. By inviting you here, we hope to restore old bonds that have been lost in time, and secure new bonds with all of you which will hopefully result in friendly, and mutually respectful relations for the continued existance of our Empire on Planet Bob. I invite you now to walk through the doors, and follow the aides into my Throne Room. Consider your respective audiences, and your tour of the palace, granted." She walked away from the balcony, headed down to the throne room, and sat on the Chrysanthemum Throne she had personally rebuilt. Today would be enjoyable, and the days following would be filled with enjoyment. Japan was alive this day, and the foreign visitors whom had chosen to come would be invited to see Japanese culture in full swing.
 7. OOC: It's amazing to see how you can roleplay random areas of my former nation, whilst I was gone (and it was under a protectorate) getting hit by missiles. Oh well, not like I recognize half the stuff you post anymore, anyway. IC: Imperial Navy ships picked up the presence of the unidentified vessel whilst it approached the harbor. Rather than firing on it, police in the area were put on a higher alert status than usual, in case the 'possible intruder' was dangerous. The Provisional Honor Guard at the Imperial Palace were put on the highest status possible for their unit, just in case they needed to protect the entrance. Any further arrivals at the gate, beyond those on the roster (those living in the Palace) and the accountability sheet for the foreign delegates, would go through a thorough check.
 8. As the delegates began to arrive, Wakamoto got out of the chair he was sitting in and waved to the other members of his party to join him. He began to make his way over to the individuals who had already begun to arrive, although it appeared as if only three parties had shown up so far. According to reports though, the rest would arrive shortly. While they waited, the Japanese men found themself trying to make small talk with the Austrian, Couchin, and Caspian delegations (which they found out after introductions) in the waiting area. The atmosphere in the air was rather relaxed, considering the occasion. One of the guards even took time from him very serious-looking pose to yawn. After waiting roughly an hour, more jets and transportation aircraft began to arrive at the area outside Terminal #17. When they walked through the terminal, they would be greeted in the waiting area by Wakamoto and his delegation, whom would introduce themselves as the arrival party. After being able to figure out who was who and whom had shown up, Wakamoto motioned the delgates and his own group to the front doors/drop-off area of the airport. Making their way there at a rather steady pace, the walk from the Terminal in the huge airport only took them a mere five minutes. Waiting outside the doors were several limousines, each able to fit about 4 or 5 delegates each. Wakamoto and his party climbed in the first, and directed the foreigners to take the remaining limousines, which would be their transportation to the Palace. Covering the front of the motorcade was a scout vehicle armed with a machine gun. Another one just like it was in the back of the motorcade as well. As the limousines passed through Tokyo after a short accountability check, the majesty with which the city was decorated was apparent. Cherry blossoms, appearing every so and often, bloomed gracefully with their light pink petals blowing in the light breeze. The weather in the city was perfect today, with minimal clouds, and no signs of rain or other extreme weather. Wakamoto looked ahead of the scout vehicle and saw the sizeable main gate of the Palace come into view, flanked on its' left and right by a guard post. After passing through security checks, which were directed by the Japanese delegates in order to lessen misunderstandings, the motorcade passed through and continued to the Kyūden, stopping outside of the Chowaden Hall, in the Kyuden Totei Plaza. The festivities were about to begin.
 9. Terminal #17 at Narita International Airport had been specially reserved as a meeting point for the forthcoming dignitaries. A portion of the runway, usually inhabited by coming and going civilian airliners, had been closed off to private and public means of transportation carrying those who had planned to visit the Imperial Palace, and partake in the festivities the new regime had planned for them. A par around the area was guarded by members of the Provisional Honor Guard, with Entry Control Points set up at specific points of the area. If anyone wanted to try and ruin the festivities, they wouldn't have it so easy. The Empress would not personally be waiting for those who would arrive but she planned to send a personal representative, and his accompanying party, in her stead. The man whom she had chosen to send was Norio Wakamoto, an aged business-man who, according to rumors, would be serving as a financial advisor and possibly the Minister of Finance for the new cabinet, planned to be announced at a public exhibition at the end of the Imperial Palace visitation, which would would be attended openly by the Japanese public. The decorations at the Imperial Palace would already be set up, with the season right for the occasion. Cherry blossoms across the nation blossomed in full view, showering the wonderment that they beheld to all. As Wakamoto and his personal party waited at the exit of Terminal #17, guarded by several Provisional Honor Guards, they chit-chatted and idled their time until the moment came to return to their professional demeanor and greet the foreigners.

The visitation of the Imperial Palace will include a walk through the magnificent 'East Garden', an open house to showcase the new regime of the Japanese state, a speech by the new Empress of Japan, and a open forum with members of the provisional government, where you may ask whatever questions (provided they be reasonable) to them. All foreign dignitaries and heads of state are required to bring their passports and some other form of documentation with them, ready to show after exiting the aircraft at Narita International Airport, after which you will be instructed by Japanese civilian police to a meeting area protected by members of the Provisional Honor Guard. You will have your choice of transportation by limousine or carriage, dependent upon your preferences. Without further ado, I hereby announce this edict as finalized and open the doors of the Imperial Palace to dignitaries abroad! By the Grace of the Kami, Empress Minori Chihara
14. Glancing around the subterranean room, it looked like a cross between a personal living quarters and a command post. In the middle was a raised table, with diagrams, plans, and maps of various areas. Anything that was central to ensuring the success of the mission was there, or in the set of file cabinets on the far left side of the wall. Sofas and chairs of varying design were scattered around the area. The only lighting was a single lamp hanging from the ceiling of the room. Around the room were armed members of the Provisional Honor Guard, a personal guard unit that Haruhi had created during her tenure as Empress, to stand for ceremonial purposes, and act as they were named, as guards. In the far left corner of the room was Nia Teppelin, the commander of the Guard unit. To her left was someone who was relatively known throughout Japan as a member of Haruhi's former cabinet, and who continued to serve supposedly with absolute obedience to the current regime. The person in question was Minori Chihara, the former and current Minister of Defense. The corruption and back-room deals which made Haruhi's fall as Empress possible made her sick. While she was differing from the former Empress in aspects of foreign affairs, defense, and other matters, she viewed her Haruhi as a person that should be awarded a level of respect that many others shouldn't warrant. She had fought for her people, and while Minori did not agree with absolutely everything the former Empress chose to do, she still respected her for her actions. Kohaku and Haruhi stood off to the other side. Kohaku's eyes widened as she noticed Haruhi glancing over towards the stairs which served as an entranceway for this impromptu fortress. The former Empress liftened her spirits a little to appear only a fraction of how vibrant she used to appear. Walking with a pace that showed hurriedness, yet remained professional, she approached Amyante. Kohaku, as always, accompanied her right side and stood ready to take down those who would threaten her. "Welcome to our... command post, of sorts." She let out a awkward little chuckle, and then sighed. "It's about time I explained everything to you, isn't it? I didn't abdicate by my choice, well, entirely by my choice. Let's just start off with one word: Corruption. During my regime their were a lot of extremists who thought that the way I did things was... much too simple. They believed I should completely open Japan up to the entire world, but their motives weren't exactly the purest. These people were the type who would exploit every opportunity for financial gain, an a little extra bonus in their own coffers every month. They wouldn't do anything good for their country, and were the epitome of selfishness. I finally decided to end my tenture of Empress, months ago, because I didn't want to do it anymore. As much as I cared about the people, and the nation, I couldn't keep up with it anymore. It was starting to become too much of a burden for me to bear. So, I abdicated. I thought someone would take control, and had left notes with the right people to make sure the right things happened after I abdicated. But, it seems the whole thing leaked to the more extremist of my supporters, and they took the opportunity to seize the throne with my supposed 'blessing'. Like I'd ever give them my damned blessing." She scoffed, and rubbed her forehead. The anger towards them would subside momentarily for now, but she tried her best to regain control of her senses so she could continue speaking to her best friend and ally about the mess that she'd gotten the country in. After shaking her head a bit, she managed to snap out of it. "Anyways... this is something I view as -my- problem. It's not anyone else's burden except my own. I care too much about the future of the country to let it sit in this shallow state. This dosen't mean I want my old job back, but I'm definitely setting things in the right places this time." She wandered off and took a seat in a chair. Talking about this wasn't one of the more interesting things she'd rather be doing, but it was neccessary. Kohaku escorted Amyante to the seat next to Haruhi's, and stood up next to Haruhi's right side, as always. This was going to be hell, and Haruhi knew it.
 15. It's the same as watching SOS trying to drag our alliance as far down the rabbit hole as possible. Same old song and dance, to me.
 16. Nia looked at Amyante, as Haruhi went inside the house with protection from her guard. She let her mind wander for a moment, and tried to remember if Haruhi wore the same size. After thinking about it, she remembered that Haruhi was probably just as slim as Amyante. She nodded, and sent one of the guard's to retrieve a shirt, and directed Amyante into the house. The guards would escort her into Haruhi's room, where she could find a shirt she liked and change. Nia was sure Haruhi wouldn't mind. Kohaku, since she was with her cousin, followed the guards with her to the basement (where Haruhi led them to). Time was of the essence, and it was short. The time for action, in Nia's mind, was now. This wasn't going to be 'pretty'.

 19. So, the New Sakura Order, and our fine friends at the AOD Brigade would like to announce the following... o/ New Sakura Order o/ AOD Brigade That is all. Edit: In text form, for those too lazy to squint/whom cannot understand the sexy font.
The Sakura Brigade Article 00: Rewards System Outstanding members of the Sakura Brigade shall be subject to rewards/prizes. These prizes will either come in the form of a acorn, autographed by the Squirrel King (Kellory) or a sakura petal signed by the God Empress (Mio). Disclaimer: None of the aformentioned items will have been made in China and/or Taiwan, or written on in small kanji by native Chinese and/or Taiwanese individuals. Article I: Peace The New Sakura Order (henceforth referred to as NsO), and the AOD Brigade (henceforth referred to as AODB) agree to remain respectful and polite to each other in all channels of communication, public of private. They also seek to resolve any/all possible conflicts they have through diplomatic means. Both alliances should look out for each other's well-being. As a consequence of their mutual friendship, both parties agree not to attack one another, and in the event of a treaty conflict that would draw the two into war with each other, this article will take precedence. Article II: Intelligence It should be recognized that sometimes either of the signatory alliances will come across some information that the other might find critical and/or intriguing to know. As such, whenever a case that fits the aformentioned description arises, both signatory alliances are recommended to 'hivemind', and share the information. Article III: Aid If either of the signatories feel that they need to request aid from the other signatory, it shall be achieved through ritual prayer to the other signatory's respective local deity. In the case of AODB, Squirrel King Kellory. In the case of NsO, God Empress Furude Mio. Should the favour of the deities be achieved, the aid (provided the request is not ridiculous) shall be sent. Article IV: Optional Defense If either signatory comes under attack from an outside/third party, the members of the Sakura Brigade will have the option of donning pink armbands (marked with 桜団) and sakura flower rings. After donning the aforementioned attire, the signatory that was not attacked will be able to come to the rescue of the attacked signatory. Article V: Cancellation In the unlikely event that the two sides who have come together to make up the Sakura Brigade, feel it neccessary to part ways, the cancelling signatory is inclined to give the other signatory a donation of acorns/sakura trees, a pat on the back, and a 24-hour notice (relayed through private channels). Both signatories will still be considered a part of the Sakura Brigade for that 24-hour period.
20. ...and now, for the grand finale. I've refrained from posting here, but I feel I need to make everything clear and necessarily so given my limited time frame. Here's a list, in full, of what I've done wrong:
- Handled negotiations separately, but (then) forgot to post the results/inform Arrnea - Allowed my arrogance to get the better of me, and let it control my actions post-removal. - Didn't inform Arrnea of the fact that Michaeru was backstabbing himself, (hell, even worse, being too blind to see just how stupid I was acting.) - Rubbing in every negative possible thing in Arrnea's face (which goes so much against my typical nature, it's not even funny.)
To put everything in a short tl;dr: This is quite literally the worst chain of mistakes I have ever made in my CyberNations career, and not a single word I can spew out of my mouth can make clear just how pessimistic I feel about myself, and everything that I'd done on the road up to where we are now. My typical behavior is one of kindness. The fact that I let my rage blind me into being one of the most sadistic being incapable of any empathy, disgusts me. To be frank, I'm even disgusted by some of the actions, and reactions, of the people I've now surrounded myself with. One in particular more so. None of these actions, undertaken by myself, and undertaken by anyone now labeled in 'my camp' post-removal, were really warranted. The 'wheels of fate' should have stopped after my removal, or (had I handled it better), the resolution of the situation. Regardless of whether or not the remaining individuals in the SOS Brigade are willing to accept it, the only thing I can do is apologize (and learn from this). It took being around the people I'm with now for a couple of weeks, and some words from an old-friend to wake me up.
 21. Nice flag. Wish you the best of luck
 22. So as In stare into the waters of life, and I look at my reflection... I see something unclear, blurry at first, yet making sense after a long hard look. I see an oni. A demon of Japanese folklore where my own reflection should be. Not a youkai (lesser demon), but an oni nontheless. Looking at the words I can associate with the sudden and strange changing of my reflection, I find the word traitor. I look up to sky and ask myself 'Should I be appearing as this before myself, for betraying my beloved alliance and friends.' The answer I come to is 'Yes, but more reason must exist than that.' The answer I come to after pondering the darkest realms of my mind, which should have been so obvious, makes itself known: 'I have betrayed myself. By betrayed my love of the alliance, my confidence and trust in others, my friendship with others, I have in turn betrayed myself.' The events of the past couple of weeks have left me in a very twisted form, acting on rage, blinded by anger and fear, and not allowing logic to enter my thought process. Looking at my reflection in the water once more, I throw a rock at it. 'I'm disgusted with what I've become' Looking once more at the reflection, seeing the rock only rippled the reflection, he cried and felt his knees shake. He finally saw through his own velvet lies, which he had deceived himself into believing as absolute truth. The boundary between both sides of the argument his friends had been having, shattered. For a split moment, his reflection partially reflected human. Through his tears, his own realization, his acknowledgement of what he'd done: he regained some humanity. Now the lonely traveler would only be able to atone for what he did, and try to make up for his sins in the past. He couldn't do anything about the past, and could only try to hold his head up and walk steadily. He would be traveling on a road that several others he was close to hadn't fully acknowledged, or had entirely forsaken. For the sins of the past, and the actions of the present, I must atone for tomorrow.
 23. Even though people will probably ignore what I have to say... (to be frank, I'll be gone anyway [basic training] soon.)
And you speak to Michael completely without bias or prejudice, correct?
Bias and prejudice will be in every single person's basic opinion. It's one of those ever-recurrent evils in this world. (The inability of people with different perspectives to usually see both sides of the coin, per se.) I'm guilty of it, for example, because alot of the time in the past few weeks I've acted like an arrogant prick.
Betrayal is an interesting word, I supposed you could consider it betrayal, but it was something they thought needed to be done. In my opinion, a legal impeachment process is not the business of Tetris, and assisting those that are in power with information would be, also in my opinion, interfering with an internal process of SOS and thereby an infringement of SOS Brigade's sovereignty as an alliance.
I can vouch for the fact that the Tetris officials invited to the channel did not participate in the actual discussions that occurred. Other than popping in, occasionally asking how we were doing, and just generally lurking, they had no involvement in it, period. In the short time I've got left before leaving, I've been doing some thinking and had to facepalm at myself a few times for my personal actions. (Because let's face it, the fact that I'm heading off to basic means I've got limited time to care intensely about this right now.)
