  1. It's an ambition problem. All these complacent leaders willing to sign away sovereignty and potential in return for a comfortable postition in a tie for last place where no one wins or loses anything. Hope they're happy.

I think less an ambition problem and more of a by product of the times. Politics and the major power plays you wish to see are probably happening behind closed doors at the moment. Most alliances are taking to acting likes ducks, calmly gliding over the water while their feet are paddling furiously. As prior to pacifica's dominance thier was a lot of open opposition to them. In the GWIII to Q period any talk of overthrowing pacifica seemed to be behind closed doors and non existent. Then came vox, and another period of open opposition. With the multi polar world were living in at the moment I think think your seeing a lot of quiet (and not so quiet, nods at MK) realignment. When war comes as it inevitably will I think we will see players with ambition grabbing power but just in different ways.

  2. i hope to god that IAA's name is taken off of the list of alliances taking reps from TORN/DAWN. i refuse to take reps for this war and would hope my alliance would have far more honor than this.

as for the rest, CnG is the only alliances that should take reps. every other alliance that demands it should have more honor.

I can't help but ageee with this. Why Gre is on there really astounds me.

  3. That's a very large exaggeration, this is the current map of political EVE: http://go-dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Verite/influence.png . Goonswarm owned Delve and Querious in the bottom left most recently. Hardly the majority of space, but the best space. They did take advantage of a top level defection of a director of the alliance who owned it though, he disbanded the alliance and allowed goonswarm to move in and claim all the space.

Ironically, goonswarm didn't even need a defection to lose all their space in that manner, they just had to forget to have somebody pay the bills.

After that though somebody did freak out and defect, but I haven't heard what came of it.

Nice to see a mostly harmless and the initiative there

But I doubt they have much to do with thier CN counterparts
