I won't deny my gratitude toward our allies in helping us with our war against AZTEC, but with the slight pressure MHA and Fark applied was enough to break them, and get the hell out of the war. If anybody on the other side thought Sparta was near defeat, I think they underestimated our strategery. Treaty webs are going to be messy, no matter which way you look at them. To say any pair of blocs are unified in general seems silly, and I believe any alliance formed between blocs would only ever be as a temporary measure. If they were truly as 'unified' as the word implies, the blocs would reside under a single name and not two. I feel that to say the blocs are inseparable is naive, as a war can spark from any spot in the web and cause a great many conflict of interests. The ties between bloc members simply offers the means for strong mediation between conflicts. I don't think a few treaties between any two blocs is enough to cause complete unity.

I really don't understand Dajobo's post, quoted above. The DoW wasn't simply for making one payment late. It was for the entire chain of bullcrap they put R&R through. He broke deal after deal, and when he broke (YES, 20 hours late is BREAKING A DEAL) this last one, R&R said 'funk it.... we're attacking'. I'm not going to sit here and call Polaris cowards for not defending UINE on the battlefield, but to say one thing ('R&R is a bunch of jerks!') and do another ('We're not going to attack R&R!') is a tough thing to witness in a well established government. Edit: The circumstances of a global war are moot. You can still send aid while at war, and UINE should consider themselves lucky action wasn't taken sooner. Seriously, all they needed was 12 aid slots. They should have been able to handle it.
