  1. Freedom is obedience. Obedience is work. Work is life.
  2. I may be an anomaly since I was the highest or second highest tech nation to start the war. I have fought against several nations that either destroyed infrastructure or bought a ton after declaring since they had 50-60% larger NS than me to start and I still have a lop-sided damage differential for the war. That is with landing about 3 nukes over a two week period at one point with my notoriously bad nuking luck. Most of my opponents have been competent. Some have been turds. I have had days with 5 opponents where no one bothered to nuke me. That is pretty sad. I have had some quality and dare I say good-natured opponents though like RahulHP, Brutal Psychoticus, and Qazzian. As Blackatron said, we are having fun and that is all that really matters. I think it is safe to say that we care about the approval of others for this war about as much as they cared about NPO's pre-empt of us last war.
  3. You folks were always the best allies anyone could hope for in this world. I hope you all have fun wherever members decide to go or not go.
  4. I wish I had read this before I jumped in to my wars as I would have probably been the only one in range to declare on him.
  5. I wasn't a member for all that long and it was 8 years ago or something, but your presence will be missed. Good luck to the former members!
  6. While we are much smaller than we used to be, I mean times in alliances with their current membership levels. Although I was probably at my happiest when I was blowing up NPO stuff a few weeks ago, but that is a discussion for another thread.
  7. Good luck with your new venture! I was always at my happiest in small alliances, so I hope you folks have found what you were looking for.
  8. Interfering with our daily shuffleboard tournaments gets us pretty riled up anyways.
  9. It's funny, but this was pretty much my sentiment except replace Piejonk for Vol Navy who is always the TPF #1. Fighting in this world doesn't exactly require skill, but he is crafty and edged me out for alliance #1 again. I was astounded by how bad my NPO opponents were for the most part with one exception. They truly fought like they were on the losing end of a steamroll rather than the winning end. All's the better for my remaining tech I suppose.
  10. With all the turtling I had been seeing from my opponents, I was surprised to read that we had lost the war. Anyways, congrats to all involved on achieving peace.
  11. Let's just say I am unimpressed on both fronts. If there are individual members who are choosing not to attack us due to disagreements with the war, good on them, however, your implication that this is an actual widespread goal given the comments on here from NPO members saying the opposite is a weak line of argument at best. Since you already cast the die with the declaration of war, knock it off with the half measures and actually do some more fighting against us. I am sure almost all of my TPF cohorts would agree with that sentiment.
  12. #6 in damage dealt and #26 in received. Not too bad I guess, but it could have been better if I didn't have my typical SDI bad luck in which I was down to 5 nukes by day 2. kerschbs, that individual nation info is there for this war on this link. https://cybernations.lyricalz.com/warstats/MI6-Oculus
  13. Looks like The Banks are in full effect again this round. I shouldn't be surprised, but none of the NPO cowards are my opponents again this round. If I look over other high tech TPF nations, I imagine I will see it is the same. Maybe next round some of NPO folks will grow a pair, but my magic 8 ball says that is not likely. Oh well, I am sure their allies don't mind doing the heavy lifting as that is a given when you sign on with NPO. I have enough money to fight until I am at 0tech, but It is hard for me to get excited about fighting VE and GLOF meatshields. Maybe that is the point.
  14. Maybe this dissent explains why NPO only has 5 declared wars against our top 10 tech nations. Oh wait, that is probably just the typical NPO tactic of sending their allies out against the more difficult targets.
  15. Welcome to the fight, STA. You folks are always the best. Have fun flushing some NPO turds.
  16. MV, it is unfortunate that I lacked a bit of meat on my bones. I would have vastly enjoyed battling you, or any other NPO member for that matter, more than I enjoy fighting a few of your proxies. Alas, it was not meant to be this round. If you have any pull, please send some of your people my way next time.
  17. Those rolling the hard six war declarations sure are original. The lack of creativity there may be even more disappointing than the despicable nature of NPO.
  18. I am looking forward to being allied with the fine folks in MI6. I always enjoyed the banter with the members I got to know in the past.
  19. It was a fun fight, but I suppose now it is time for peace. Thanks again to the fine ladies and gentlemen in STA for their assistance. To my opponents who I talked to (you know who you are), much respect. Now I can return to my hibernation until next my alliance needs me.
  20. It is nice to have an alliance on us now who won't let us get to peace mode at will without counters like those who initially came to the aid of MI6 did who frankly seem completely incompetent. I won't rag on MI6 though as they have been respectable opponents. I look forward to engaging with some of you in TOP again sometime later this week since it was a lot of fun last time.
