  1. Good luck in your new home! We'll have to have a proper fight some day Tankobite instead of that weird one in which I was sent to fight you and then alternately told to fight, not fight, and then fight again. Weird times. At any rate, I am glad to see that the dust has settled for you folks.
  2. I can tell how difficult a decision this was for you. We need to tar and feather whoever this boognish clown is so that you can move on from this chapter of your life.
  3. I recommended distancing and making a new alliance too. Korlath did that which was absolutely the correct choice. Deciding to protect the TPF retirement village is a nice gesture on his part as I know I grew fond of the UFP people. Ancient ones aside, I doubt anyone has any beef with those who will be left in the alliance, so I don't really see how this qualifies as some sort of step backwards for UFP. I do question how necessary it really is since I wasn't attacked once (other than in my personal war with Haven) in the years as sometimes one of two TPF nations remaining. Maybe the treaties thing, but that shouldn't have been unexpected. I would have preferred switching sides for laughs and variety, but that is just me. Maybe I need to get Bernkastel back up in this place and reform the AOD Brigade to distance myself too. He laughed at me when I told him I was still here. ๐Ÿคฃ
  4. When I was the owner of TPF in deep retirement I received a poaching message, so I led a personal war against Haven that their then protector had to save them from. Glad to see you guys are still kicking.
  5. For a second, I thought this meant the Bear Cavalry was coming back.
  6. The premier retirement home and no one told me? I would have joined 4 years ago. ๐Ÿ˜ Seriously though, congrats on the milestone!
  7. Good luck with the new alliance! I hope everything goes great for you. jbone and I should declare perma-war on you guys after you are finished moving over. ๐Ÿ˜
  8. TBC was an awesome group of people! I am sad my stay was only a week or so, but I could never turn away the prospects of a never ending war. ๐Ÿคฃ
  9. I am inclined to agree with you on this one. There are only three of us left who are long time members of the old TPF. I think the remaining people not bogged down with those ties would be better off doing their own thing. Kapleo had rejuvenating the TPF name as his white whale when I was the alliance owner as a retirement community for years. The other members need not be burdened by the past. Admittedly, I have no idea what has actually recently transpired since I am completely out of the loop though. Maybe it is just me who needs to move on. But the last alliance other than TPF I was in was The Bear Cavalry when you gave me refuge prior to the NPO war starting since I was going to be out of town. ๐Ÿ˜œ
  10. I still fondly remember my time in Zero Hour. ๐Ÿ˜œ Probably my happiest time here. It is too bad how those events and that war worked out and resulted in us disbanding and several good friends retiring forever from this.
  11. Don't worry. I am sure jbone and I will stick around in our comfortable old retirement home at least. Probably.
  12. I am just happy that messages from other alliances thinking I was the leader of an actual functioning alliance rather than a retirement home with a couple others will stop. Thanks to JBone for coming out of retirement and saving me from this! ๐Ÿ˜ Kapleo has always been a good guy, so I look forward to getting to know the rest of the Sellswords. Just wake me up when it is time to make war with someone. That's funny, Seal! When I passed the alliance ownership back over to JBone, he made me heir so the past won't repeat itself since I haven't lapsed in the almost 13 years I have been around. ๐Ÿ˜œ
  13. Actually, General, you donโ€™t get it at all. My message was edited, by request of a well-intentioned FTW diplomat, who had negotiated Haven out of a mess of their own creation. I agreed because I didnโ€™t think my original message should stand because I didnโ€™t want to put egg on the face of FTW who showed themselves to be good folks.
  14. Keep up the good work. I know, on the occasion I have been fighting an Oculus victim along with a member of your coalition, they have always been good partners and quite motivated to continue the fight indefinitely.
  15. My personal worst is 24 misses in a row. I have a 13 misses in a row or similar streak pretty much every time I restock.
  16. It doesn't seem too fun that random Dark Templar people filled his slots. I was looking forward to seeing the grievance wars in full effect when I checked his war screens. I guess offensive wars involving allies never were very much fun in that regard.
  17. Sad to see two alliances I am fond of fighting. I'll leave it at that.
  18. Hearing the charge would be more frustrating than its worth. Better to just chalk it up to another case of boredom. Either way, good luck to you folks!
  19. From my experience since they attacked us, I wouldn't put awesome and Atlas in the same sentence. Still, congrats on this milestone!
  20. This kind of rationale works for maybe the first 3 or 4 days of a cycle of war one enters with a full complement of nukes. Yes, we can only get nuked once per day, but most of us may land a nuke once every 2 or 3 days with our 2 chances a day once the initial stockpile runs out. Also, if our opponents do their job, we are never able to declare wars so it is a 1 vs. 3 scenario most of the time. I had a 1 vs. 7 last week that yielded some wonderful damage numbers though. Of course, it helped that my two NPO opponents who were well developed tech and wonder-wise launched a grand total of 0 attacks while the Atlas and RnR guys picked up their slack.
  21. If you didn't have money, why did you declare three offensive wars? I suppose one can only be nuked once a day, but still.
