I think you missed my point, even after being booted out, and reading the logs, it only looks like you changed your name on irc, and were still acting, and talking like Rota. Sure, being booted out, and attacked for being Rota, when you weren't given the chance to prove that you weren't going to act like Rota was taken away, but you still could have taken it as an opportunity to act like a different person before coming to the OWF and making this topic, after being attacked. You missed a golden opportunity to show the world you are not Rota anymore, but reading those logs, after the attack, you proved them correct for attacking you, in my view.

Everyone deserves a second chance, after deleting and coming back under the same name, especially under a new name. Yet if you act the same, with a new name, as you did before as the old persona, and the only thing that changed about you is a name; Then it doesn't matter if it's OOC, and IC anymore, because you are still in character, with just a new name. The adage of "what's in a name" applies here. You are still acting like Rota, why should you be treated differently if you continue to act like Rota. Especially now when you can pay to change your name in-game. If I change my name from BringMeTheHorizon to Benaya, and I act like BringMeTheHorizon still, is it really a new persona, or new character?

SaS top nation was already raided by RIOT, and dropped 40k with only attacking once or twice, it was his first attacks ever, we even got a PM from gambona congratulating us on getting him to actually attack, and not just hide during a fight. He is also a war defector from Ai, or from another AA that merged into Ai, that refused to fight, and he's their Security chancellor? They'll need you guys to nuke anyone who attacks...

Chow, just to let you know, I, yes myself, intimidated SaS so bad that their leader said to me please don't attack SaS, or we'll have to deal with their protectorate. Just by saying his nation looked pretty, it'd be a shame something happened to it. So...good luck with this.

I would love for you to link me where there has been any discussion on any new senate proposal on whether they should vote yes or no on it. As soon as it happened I brought it to KCPs attention, you can search all over 'Operation Unknown' and you will not find any mention of how to vote, why to vote, or the brought up of any ways to vote. There was no contact by tJL to RIOT, or on the KCP forums about voting. In fact, there was a thread started by RIOT on the issue, not before by any one else. So please, if anyone is going to be called a liar, it's you.

We only recently restarted to shift our votes. We need to buy nukes because we were massively raided by Aztec, and friends, where it was a nuclear week long war, where SDI's and the such drained our nukes. But that is neither here nor there. Even a few members of Kashmir, your direct ally could have benefited from the rebuying of nukes. Next time have Max Power actually go to the forums we share in common to be like hey, is this cool with everyone. Instead of just assuming everyone is cool with it. Or you can continue you say hey, its fine, every one is benefiting from this, especially when an alliance that help max Power get into the senate in the first place did not want this. You're wrong, it affected RIOT a lot more than any other AA on yellow, so I am glad one of your nations is getting nuked over it. It is not economically beneficial to us as a whole, as said before, the rise in nuke purchase costs is not offset by that 3+ population happiness, not even close. You're also missing the point of this thread, you should go talk to people before voting. You had not even come to us, where we share a senator voting agreement....I can tell you know that RIOT will not be supporting Max Power as our senator. Because you basically spat in our faces without even coming to us.

Nah, you're right about the other nations, I didn't feel like checking their team. All I can say is that, since I started buying nukes again, during this senate proposal that went into affect, my collections have gone down. Also, it hurts any nation on RIOT buying nukes (except 2, who are not on yellow, but the 6 people in RIOT still rebuying nukes still are effected), " +25% nuclear weapon purchase cost and upkeep cost." So to say that 18 out of 18 benefited from this is wrong, since it's costing us 25% more to buy, and we're missing 25% extra from nuke purchases, which RIOT is rebuying, out of our warchest, ( I guess we use collections differently but I digress) so it does indeed affect RIOT, and anyone buying nukes, because the happiness increase does not cover the amount of money we are spending extra on nukes, and the small upkeep amount extra.

Well to be fair, we did lose 5 nations yesterday to a splinter, which hurt them the most which was roughly close to 25% of our AA. Even I have seen my collections go down, a negligible amount, but still have gone down. So if we count the 6 people out of 23 thats good enough for 25% in my eyes. Because those 5 people fall into the range that had enough nukes, and where in the right infra bracket for it to hurt.

That's what I was talking about. If I get my roommates to join, and they help spy on an alliance for me. Or they tell me that their alliance is attacking someone etcetera. How is that policeable by mods? If it were my friends. We'd spy on people and get !@#$ $%&@ed up.

With the new rules, how long do you think it'll take for someone to get to the "Same network nations, shared information with each other" CB? Does this change anything about how your alliance will vet people, or how they allow people into their AA?

Actually. RIOT had maybe 4-10 posts on our forums until you merged into RIOT. We used irc, and that was it, our forum usage, which probably fails in comparison to other AA's has been used 10000x fold more, skype (now), and IRC has always been the communication for RIOT. All we asked was that you sign up on the forums, just incase we had to issue something bigger than a small alliance announcement, or on irc. But using our forums was not needed to be a member.

Actually I was quite sorry that I was rude to TK, and I said as much. If I've ever made any apology, this is the only one I was actually sorry about.

I don't know why people keep saying this. It won't. At least not for me, maybe others in RIOT, but I've acted this way in this place since my nation was created back in 08. If people change because they were attacked, they're weak. I'll play how I've always played, this won't change anything.

Not really, the next day after I was "rude" I apologized on DT forums, without being asked to. We did everything DT asked in the end (since the first talks with the leader of RIOT, since I am no longer the leader, his word should have been taken over mine), even when I was still against reps, if you bothered to read the logs, and the talks with SHIELD, which I don't think you did. But then again, I digress, and as many people have said; It wasn't about the SHIELD incident getting resolved. It was about us hitting NSF in the FAN-WAR, and them getting upset (even though I we thought DT gov said ok, but he they used the excuse as we don't read our embassies, but again I digress) and a topic title. So let's not pretend that us fully giving out reps to the affected party, and them saying everything was good between us is the main reason. They're doing it because they can, and we're not well connected, which is what we do, which I have no problem with. But when you at first say you're defending your protectorate, especially when your protectorate said everything was good between the two parties is just silly.
