  1. I could see people using this if the code could be shortened to a single line of text instead of that massive wall. Until then, thanks but no thanks.
  2. Oh. This was a joke. You almost had me going for a second there!
  3. Maybe this is none of my business, and i'm not exactly an expert on logic but i do know the basic rules of debate. Shouldn't you be trying to provide evidence in support of your claims that he is powerdrunk, rather than just vaguely denying his statements that he is not?
  4. Frostbite because frankly im just tired of seeing ivan moldavi and his worshippers and their endless "do something about it" posts that flood any thread even remotely connected to them.
  5. Wait what's the point of electing people to a council if the appointed emperor can just override any decision they make?
  6. The accusations of IC racism stem from the Nordreich/NoV members who routinely roleplayed as IC fascists and adopted national socialist policies. For example, two Kaisers of Nordreich (and later NoV) roleplaying forcefully removing all ethnic minorities from their countries. http://z15.invisionfree.com/Cyber_Nations/...showtopic=35423 Roleplaying ethnic cleansing and eugenics is a pretty compelling example of IC racism.
  7. Like Bilrow said, even autocratic alliances are forced to bend to the whims of basic democracy. Because if the dictator of the alliance does a bunch of stupid crap that the general membership does not like, then they will leave until he either starts listening to them, or else he will soon reside in an alliance of one.
  8. I think the difference here is that NPO decimated dozens of alliances through crippling wars and sanctions and viceroyships over the course of three years. The NPO and it's allies constantly stomped on smaller alliances and would just pat each other on the back over it. To this day many of them have no remorse over anything they did. Athens fought a couple of cycles of wars against one alliance and then offered peace. Their allies were like "Hey, you're our friends and all, but that wasn't cool." And Athens was like "Yeah I guess that was kinda lame on our part." And then started working to make amends. Now, considering both of these cases, why do you think Athens deserves some sort of severe punishment? Haven't they done the right thing in admitting the mistake, taking responsibility, and working to make amends? To say that Athens deserves to be punished harshly leads me to believe you're not interested in justice so much as you're interested in spilling more blood.
  9. I'm curious to hear why you consider Athens making amends to be "a slap on the wrist." Also, if you do think this way, what specifically are you calling for?
  10. Good to see Athens is making amends and that MK is keeping the peace. Can't help but chuckle at NSO for trying to make every event on planet bob revolve around them.
  11. I never knew you personally but it was always easy to tell just by the way you carried yourself that you were a top notch character. O7
  12. Exciting, yes, but not always in the good way. For example, getting your nation blown to bits is certainly exciting, but not necessarily enjoyable.
  13. Pretty cool stuff here, but needs moar LSF and INT
  14. Don't let the initiative win GW2 Two years of crap will result
  15. This thread seems to have been created as a platform for taking shots at the alliances the NPO doesn't like.
  16. Just be careful, that last try at a 1,000 year reich was a real doozy. Best of luck.
  17. Causes: NPO played a ruthless game of war and diplomacy where they harassed, isolated, and destroyed their enemies and eventually turned on many of their former friends. This all lead up to the NPO attack on OV in which the NPO poised to attack an alliance that was allied with many alliances that the NPO had transgressed in the past. Effects: Said alliances that the NPO had run afoul with in the past came to the aid of OV while many of NPO's "allies" were reluctant to join in.
  18. Definitely much better now. People have a much greater opportunity to do whatever they want without having to get the approval of some higher power.
  19. You don't. But launching an attack because of some double secret defense pact with the world sounds kinda flimsy to me.
  20. Forgive me for not having the time to read all 12 pages of responses, but... what? I mean, the only thing this doctrine seems to be saying is that the NSO wants to claim the ability be able to jump into a fight without being called band wagoners for not having a treaty.
