Rebirth

So, tl;dr, I don't need to read your posts anymore, because other people are reading them now? Is that the take-away here?
  2.
MK and NPO remind me of twins who hang out with the same group of friends and are always trying to prove why they are better/cooler than the other.
*chuckles* You either don't know what "twins" are, "friends" are, or "MK" and "NPO".
  3.
Our growth has been awesome. :3
You answered other posts, notwithstanding that mine had been posted. Viceroy Jasmine shall give you ten lashes.
  4. I annexed you a month or so ago in #athens. How's that been going?
  5. Red Nation Union. Cortath made a typo. It's happened before, and it may happen again, but my advisors tell if I whip the spell checkers more often, it won't.
  6. As Emperor of the New Pacific Order, we welcome our new relationship with Red Nation Union. We've worked them a lot, and we look forward to working with them on the Red Sphere. o/
  7. *chuckles* Appointment of Bilrow and Jasmine to the Positions of Imperial Officers I do hereby appoint Bilrow to the position of Imperial Officer for Internal Affairs. Bilrow has long been a servant of Pacifica, specializing in both military matters and matters of internal affairs. As the former Director of Military Intelligence, as well as a long-time elected Councilor from the Body Republic, Bilrow's dedicated to his duties and his ability to have his finger on the pulse of the Body Republic exemplifies both our meritocratic structure and the responsibility our officials have to the Body Republic. He takes on this mantle of responsibility freely, but not lightly. I do hereby appoint Jasmine to the position of Imperial Officer for Economic Affairs. It was certainly a first for a former General of the New Pacific Order to become Chairwoman of the Bank, and Jasmine brought the same tenacity and diplomacy she was known for in High Command to the Pacific Bank, helping to shepherd the New Pacific Order through the long months of reparations. Perhaps more challenging than the economics itself was dealing with our counterparts among the Group of Fifteen then Fourteen Alliances Who Once Called Themselves Karma But Now No Longer Do So, a task she handled with poise and tact. Se takes on this mantle of responsibility freely, but not lightly. Hail Imperial Officer Bilrow! Hail Imperial Officer Jasmine! Hail the Body Republic and the New Pacific Order!
  8.
Hal, I'd like to introduce you to the idea of crimestop. If you're not sure what I mean, go ask someone in the NPO about their role in undermining Polaris before the noCB War. They'll have no idea what you're talking about. Presumably that group now includes Mussolandia, someone who left the NPO precisely because of Pacifica's double-dealing, back-stabbing ways. Anyway, the actual topic ceased to be the focus of discussion some time ago, which is probably for the best considering how pointless said discussion had become. Good luck in the future, GGA.
I'd like to introduce you to the New Pacific Order. Why don't you ask us about our history with NpO in your embassy with us? Also, shame on you. It's the Polars who use the Orwellian language.
  9.
You blamed us numerous times.
You are a silly person.
  10.
They blamed Vox for the events that lead to the blackout for the longest time though.
You are wrong. As was said before, the decision to do radio silence was for reasons we are not permitted to discuss here.
  11. Welcome to CyberNations, and welcome to the Red Sphere! I look forward to working with your alliance to further relations on the Red Team.
  12.
If you weren't so blinded by your strange desire to insult me, you would realize that this is pretty much exactly what I'm saying.
I don't get your point. You mention that the sums spent on militarization are large and that we've somehow "extended" our terms, and now you back track. But if we're agreeing, excellent. Have some tea.
  13.
But they are, they are a crucial fact. Unavoidable, fundamental basic fact without which any analysis would be severely lacking and only purpose of the same would be to blur the actual facts at the table. But this debate was had already. We payed our terms, obviously showing it is payable. The extreme amounts and limitations on who can pay them, we overcome. While many if not about 90% of the planet CN and its alliances would probably crumble under the terms weight (for example, I sincerely doubt that unremarkable alliance as CSN could withhold such weight if we created equal terms in regards to its size), we showed that we can stand the pressure. It is behind us now, hence the topic. Spending words on it here, is not the best place. Is there anything else, or can I offer you some tea?
I would like some tea, Comrade Branimir. Perchance you have earl grey with a touch of baby blood?
  14.
I agree with the irrational anti-Pacificans -- preparation is clearly for the weak and the stupid. Nothing unexpected ever happens, and certainly nothing that goes against one's personal strategic desires. When people kept telling us that we needed to 'change', I wasn't aware that they meant we needed to become incompetent. Really, you need to be more specific with your demands.
Indeed. By "change" they meant, "more stupid." Whoop. I didn't get the memo.
Care to link me to the one you're referring to? The most recent one just has a quote from Chickenzilla, which is a pretty silly thing to base your fear on. How long do you intend to maintain full militarization? Ironic fact: the extra bills you are paying because of the unnecessary tanks will, after a year, add up to 12 billion. You've found a way to extend your terms without us even doing anything.
Ironic fact: you don't understand economics or military.
So are you acknowledging that 10 billion is a paltry sum for an alliance of your size? edit: I don't think it will last for a year either, I was just comparing it your terms (which actually only lasted 9 months, but I used a year because you all keep calling it a year).
10 billion in military bills (and I haven't checked your numbers, 12? 10? whatever) for our alliance is a paltry sum. 10 billion in aid is not. I'll see if you can figure out why.
  15. *chuckles heartily* The New Pacific Order prepares for war and she prepares for peace. Only a fool would think that we should do otherwise.
  16. I gotta hand it to Gremlins though. If you have to die a slow, agonizing death, a death that great alliances do not deserve, I suppose this way is preferable to any other, eh?
  17. The friendships forged between the Legion and the New Pacific Order are strong indeed and have weathered the long cold winter of the Interregnum. That we maintain the relations we do is a testament to the depth of commitment we have for each other. Hail the Legion! Hail the New Pacific Order!
  18. It is very gratifying to see this treaty come together. Let us be united under one thing: losing our dignity to Mary the Fantabulous as she creams us in Scrabble! Hail Olympus! Hail the New Pacific Order!
  19. This treaty has been a long time coming, and I am very happy to see oure relations with our comrades in Invicta formally re-established! Hail Invicta! Hail the New Pacific Order!
  20.
Go back and read previous posts involving Maelstrom Vortex. I have already said that my opinion of the order will grow if you show signs of improvement. Until then you have shown little to no reason to suggest you have changed at all. As for your choices, you are correct. But considering your many actions and decisions as leader of the NPO, and the lack of any regret or pause for thought you showed in crushing so many isolated and independent alliances, I have no doubt that you regard as great deal of them being the right choices to make and very few major events as being mistakes.
So...you don't like tea? Is that it? That makes me sad.
  21. Come now, ShinRa, I have made several posts inviting you to Pacifica to come and take tea with me, and you have not responded. I know you are a busy man, but you could give me the courtesy of an acknowledgment of my invitation. Our alliances are allies, and I have enjoyed tea with many a GATOan. They will tell you that I never put baby blood in their tea, unless they ask for it. Not even once. For I am a gentleman.
  22.
ewww Cortath, the only thing that should go in a decent cup of Earl Grey is a slice of lemon
That is vile, and no such thing shall be served in Pacifica.
Not scared at all. I just wanted to get that clear, since NPO is a treaty partner. I hate misunderstandings from small things.
We've created a long and enduring bond with our friends at GATO, and we know that the half-mad rants of one of your members does not represent your government. ShinRa: Come now, good sir. It is not every day that I offer tea. I do pour it very well. Let us have tea? Perhaps I should be more clear, there will be scones as well, mine shall have baby blood glaze, but yours can have a glaze of any other fruit of your choosing, for I, sir, am a gentleman.
  23. Thank you for the many kind comments and congratulations. It is a great day to be a Pacifican. For those of you who seem less excited (i.e. ShinRa), let me ask you a question: Do you like tea? I like tea. Usually earl grey double bergamot, with a touch of baby blood. Why don't you come over and drink tea with me? I will even ask the servers not to put baby blood in your tea, for I am a gentleman.
