Laying aside for the moment that VE presented an ironclad cb which conclusively shows Polar leadership instructing a nation to spy on VE and then accepting information from them when they went and did just that; you seem to have missed the point of having friends and allies. It is all well and good to only go in when you stand to gain personally, when you happen to agree with every fact of their line or reasoning, feel as offended by whatever transgression provoked them as they do, but a real ally, a real friend isn't just there to back you up when they agree with you 100%, they will have your back any time they can do anything to help, even if they do have differences of opinion or disagree. It is a pity that loyalty is so undervalued in some segments but VE has earned it, even had they not demonstrated beyond doubt the validity of their case for war.

We didn't realize we needed permission from people we never talk to nor care about to join a war and fight along side an ally. When the hell are you going to come out and play? <3 On a side note to the funny serious people in this thread: We like being small and close knit, if we cared about being bigger we'd be messaging UPN for a merger. Instead we'd rather chit chat in Skype calls everyday or goof around on IRC. With big alliances come drama and headaches and lots of work, we'd rather have fun. All of the founders came from big alliances, so "been there did that lets do it differently" was the attitude when we formed. So what if only a few of us fight in this war, we just want to do what ever makes us happy, and right now that is doing what we can to help out VE. Only reason we even posted the DoW was so that those members of Misfits who chose to fight could with out someone going "boooo you didn't even DoW", we didn't post for attention, or to feel important. If that was the case we would have posted about silly things like when we changed our flag finally, or when we had our One year Anniversary, ect like other alliances do. So think what you want, we are going back to having fun.

[/quote] Our friendship with VE is not contingent upon the number of alliances either presently involved or expected to join later. They are at war and so we are at war. Other considerations are secondary.
