I second that. Only way I would join was if you let me be the sole leader, and run it into the ground in a week purely for my amusement.

It depends on what your are looking for. If you are new to the game it is best to join a larger alliance where you can recieve the help you need. Alliances that have been around awhile such as the New Pacific Order , IRON, GGA and a few others help new nations the most as far as guides, military protection, aid programs and numerous other things. They also contain many loyal dedicated members that have been around over a year who are willing to sit and talk with you instead of blowing you off as some noob like some alliances do. But then again some people prefer smaller alliances, where struggles and issues tend to happen more. Just do your research and think it over.

It depends on the alliance. I know for a fact some let you automaticly retailate and then just let them know what is going on. Alliances are supposed to protect you, if they are causing more of a problem than helping then simply find a new one.

Yeah someone needs to create a DO NOT DO WHAT THESE PEOPLE DID guide, and post all of these in it. I share your first mistake, I spent my first three months in the Gov of a very small alliance that wasn't going anywheres. It made me realize why so many members split off and formed Sparta. :lol: Buying 2000 land in money I had accumilated recruiting for said small alliance. Being greedy with my tech, by not wanting to tech raid. Not standing up for my beliefs and values, I let older nations who thought they knew best tell me what to do, including how to act. Lasted around 6 months and I may not be seen as "nice" anymore but at least I speak my mind Over deploying twice in a war with no war chest. Anarchy and bill lock are great! Having to delete for two months, I wish I had just tried to get a sitter. I hate seeing people I started with so much bigger, and no they will not get my tech. I think I'll be greedy again :lol:
