We are looking forward to a long future together and making our bonds even closer....and Olympus is the pinnacle Seriously, I'm pleased and honored at this announcement. White team has some good friends that have been there beside us since the beginning, its very nice to see things becoming more official. Text if you're interested: The Articles of AscensionPreamble Olympus and Zenith share a common genesis as we were both created by former government members of NATO. During our time in NATO, we were pulled apart by our differing views on how an alliance should be run. Since leaving NATO, we have tread very different paths but have come to see that we are more similar than we are different. It is in the spirit of our shared beliefs that we are happy to sign this treaty, The Articles of Ascension. Article One: Friendship Olympus and Zenith agree to treat each other as friends and to give each other the trust and respect that friends deserve. Accordingly, the members of Olympus and Zenith agree to be respectful towards each other in both private and public channels and the leaders of the alliances pledge to be candid with each other in issues of foreign affairs and intelligence. Information sharing between the governments of the alliances is encouraged to better relations. Additionally, Olympus and Zenith agree to be in a state of non-aggression and agree to refrain from attacking or spying on each other or helping an outside entity to do so. Article Two: Support Olympus and Zenith recognize that friends should help each other out. Although neither alliance is required to give military or financial assistance to the other, both alliances agree that if one of them asks for help, the other should seriously consider granting that request. In addition to these more tangible types of support, the alliances agree to support each other in their public affairs by being supportive of each other in public and private channels. Article Three: Pinnacle Olympus and Zenith agree to disagree about which alliance is truly the “Pinnacle of Alliances.” Although they have yet to come to agreement on this issue, they agree to not let this disagreement damage their relations. Article Four: Continuation This treaty shall remain in effect as long as both alliances believe that it accurately reflects their relationship. It may be upgraded or modified if both alliances consent. If either alliance no longer believes that this treaty reflects their relationship, it may be canceled with 48 hours private notice to the other alliance before public notification of the cancellation is posted. At the the time of the initial private notification, a 72 hour waiting period will begin during which neither party may take aggressive action against the other.
