  1. I was team Herogasm right up until this most perfect of names was put forward and then I had to change my vote
  2. Just stopping in to say nobody is ever wrong nuking CLAWS, 100% always the right call
  3. I think those suggestions make sense, everyone acknowledges that we want to retain new players and wrecking all their stuff in 1 round of war from a 2000 day old nation (I do it too, no judgement, but it's not fun for the newbie). The wonder helps with that. I also like the idea of removing the upper declaration range, I feel like it would allow new strategies for interacting with the god tier other than PM or getting beaten out of range in 1 round.
  4. You don't deserve DOOM's loyalty you !@#$%*, can't wait until they realize it and we all get to roll you into the ground.
  5. My SDI made you quite mad Yours did the same to me at the end though...so fair?
  6. Man this New Boobage Order is really stirring up drama for being only 2 days old or whatever, good stuff!
  7. I'm starting to think the only normal thing about this war is Polar fighting on both sides
  8. Well I mean I didn't realize DBDC were pulling the Emperors strings like that, considering how much I like DBDC, that actually makes me like NPO a little bit more, thanks for the intel!! Also as to your comment on being betrayed by your oldest MDoAP partner, I think precedent here on planet bob would indicate the betrayal is on your end. There has been alot of times over the years that someone wouldn't trigger an intel clause in advance of a war because of all the conflicting intel treaties that would trigger AND a whole lot of times where an ally would hit another ally's ODP partner. What's unique about this particular war is having someone drop an MDoAP and then immediately declare war on their former ally based on the triggering of either an oA clause (DT) or an oD clause (DBDC). You might fool the few people who joined the world relatively recently, but anyone who has been around awhile knows what you did, and you know what you did.
  9. If someone had told 2010 me that I would see a day where SLCB, PC and all the other FOKs in NG (sorry if I forgot someone who merged) would declare on NPO in defense of NATO I'd have never believed it lol. Welcome to the thunderdome, and bringing back a classic from the mid 2010's, pepper your angus! Edited for clarity
  10. So all trolling aside, I think we all know what happened here. FTW and NATO wanted to start some !@#$, they decided to pick the biggest, baddest mofo in the yard to punch in the mouth. All in good fun. But their gang buddies who were egging them on, got scared and in order to keep friendly with the bad mofo, decided to kick their former gang friends in the teeth while furiously lasering off their tattoos. So this is both a good fun, friendly war with DOOM while being an angry war with NPO/NpO and possibly others. That's how I see it anyways. If we end up back at status quo after this, I suspect we won't see another war of this size again. Or, maybe some of the revelations coming out will cause a breakup of the existing power structure and we can all get back to what we all do best, rolling NpO. Disclaimer: I could be completely wrong about the reasons why FTW/NATO picked DOOM, I wasn't involved in the planning and can't be bothered to ask
  11. Yeah I also have no idea why the targets were picked, but assume it has something to do with the web (most things do). Considering NPO and NpO showing their true colors, I think this worked out for the best, no point being allied to people like that. And just FYI, if this has been a curbstomp vs DOOM, I'd have stayed on the DS AA and fought alongside you all, I just go where the fighting is heaviest
  12. I'll edit my response to 2 falls ago, instead of last fall. Just to be fair, I love DBDC and don't think you guys did anything wrong at all, I think NPO and NpO are garbage allies and that's the point of my posts.
  13. If it was just leaving the bloc, I agree that probably doesn't trigger intel clauses, but when they were actively discussing leaving the bloc for the purpose of rolling your allies, that probably meets the threshhold. Polar for example, was apparently actively involved in the planning of the operation (i wasn't involved at all so second hand info) right up until it happened. Also I think we can both agree that the normal course for something like this is to not drop the treaty and attack someone instantly, but to honor the non-aggression aspect (even if you come in against others) and drop the treaty after the war. That's been the norm for decades.
  14. Thinking about leaving a bloc vs thinking about leaving a bloc to roll over allies of your blocmates are two different things imho, but my point is mostly that NATO got dropped like a hot rock and then attacked over an intel clause that doesn't seem to have that much importance in other dealings, so it has the appearance of a double standard. Just my two cents.
  15. So you were considering dropping Occulus with NpO, did you let the rest of Occulus know about these discussions, considering intel clauses are so important? Did DT know NpO was planning on hitting their allies, did that intel clause get used? Inquiring minds would like to know...
  16. Well if you think they were the courtee and not the courter, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you Edit: Edited to remove redundant "well"
  17. NpO lied to just about everyone, on both sides, so where is the cancellation?
