Kaiser Martens
We advice that it would be a good idea to modify such law as to not ban Germanic Faith and its related buildings and institutions, for this may cause separatism which may need intervention. The Aesir-loyal ones have lived in the region for a long time without coming into conflict...they do not deserve discrimination. It would be better if you simply allowed all religions, really. Please reconsider.

Karl Martin
The National Unity Law has caused much dissent within the Union, especially in the German and west Ukraine areas. Dozens of riots have been stopped by the police, but all the more, dissent grew. Even within the Congress, many members of the Belaya Rus were also against the measures, but since it was done as a political deal to get the Belarusian nationalist Partyja BPF to form a coalition government with the Belaya Rus, President Lukashenko had passed the bill. It remains to be seen if things can hold for now. Lukashenko International Airport, Polotsk Alexei Borodin, a Ukraine, was in an elevator with Vladimir Makarov and three other men are in the Airport. Zippers are heard, as the team removes weapons from bags or suitcases, and don combat vests. Makarov reminds them not to speak Belarusian, but to use Ukrainian. When the elevator opens, they slowly walk out into an airport security checkpoint where all of the gunmen open fire on the civilians. The gunmen move through the airport as they continue the killing. After exiting via a gate service area the gunmen encounter FSB forces. The M203 was used to make short work of any Riot Shield users. After killing all Internal Troops in their way, only Borodin, Makarov, and another men named Viktor remain alive. Makarov leads Borodin and Viktor to an ambulance (the getaway vehicle). The back door of the ambulance opens. The driver said "Good, you made it! Get in. We sent a strong message with this attack, Makarov." Makarov and Viktor get in the ambulance. As he pulled Borodin into the vehicle, Makarov said "That was no message..." and executed Borodin with an M9, after which he said "When they find that body... all of Belarus will cry for war." The ambulance drove away, leaving Borodin to be found by the Belarusian government. The combination of NATO weapons and equipment (which were used by the military in West Ukraine), Ukrainian-speaking shooters who use military jargon, and the body of an Ukrainian soldier made the attack appear to have been supported by the Ukrainian military. This would have reprecussions in the future. Kaiser Martens
A top priority message is sent to these Rus: "The North German State considers that the latest actions of the Rus government are not appropiate and result in the upsetting of European Peace through the use of needless violence against different peaceful peoples. Because of this, we think that your state should do the following: While it is acceptable to have a state religion nominally, it is not acceptable to ban other religions and get rid of their institutions. While it is acceptable for the official language to be Belarusian, it is not acceptable to outright forbid other languages. It is also not acceptable to recognize only Belarusians as the state ethnicity. A focus on Pan-Slavism would be more apt for your country, however, we are deeply concerned about the Germans living there, which should be allowed to continue as they had been, peaceful until your policies sparked riots. At the very least you need to recognize meta-ethnicities: Slavic and Germanic. Trying to forcibly Slavicize the German population is not a reasonable policy." "In seventy-two hours, if you do not review your policies and modify them, we will feel compelled to become militarily involved to at the *very* least protect the German Populations from abuse, but if needed, to make sure that the current Government is undone and the Slavic territories handed on a silver platter to the nearby Slavic countries out of the goodness of our hearts. The way things are, you'll probably be in civil war or anarchy before we even set foot on your territory anyway. We had been nice. We even gave you a tiny bit of our territory to try to help you out. But this you're doing is too much. You'll make everyone hate Belarusians, as they'll get blanket-blamed for a few peoples' policies, and that's something we too want to prevent." And that was the North German Ultimatum. Edited May 30, 2010 by Kaiser Martens
Karl Martin
In a parliamentary coup, Prime Minister Alaksej Janukevich was desposed by a joint action of Belaya Rus and AHPB. Following the Lukashenko Airport Massacre, many members of Belaya Rus called for the repealing of the National Unity Law. With the Prime Minister still holding onto the racist law, Congress passed a motion of non-confidence against the current government with AHPB support. President Lukashenko accepted the motion and called on AHPB to form a new government in coalition with Belaya Rus. In an interview, he said, “I have seen how wrong it was to work with Janukevich, and will work for a free and equal Union with APHB.” The first action by the new government was the repealing of the National Unity Law. In its place was installed the Reconciliation Law, which mandated ethnic equality for all people. A copy of the new law was sent to neighboring countries.
