Their reference to it happening all the time is in regards to the channel itself between themselves so nobody should be offended when they witness the language. If you'd read the thread further or talked to \m/ you'll have seen that they are making sure that doesn't happen again in regards to talking to foreign diplomats. I have done neither of those. I read the OP and assumed I have all \m/ wished to say about it. It is an alliance announcement, I wished it could have been better written. I certainly will object against NpO if the war is merely because of \m/ raiding some nations. But this is not. This is due to the profanity action that \m/ admit doing and apologizing for. When you apologize for some wrong doing you did (which \m/ admit they do), do you require that the others must accept it? People might find the apology not good enough, not sincere, and chooses to counter your offense. But if you think that apology should have been good enough, then you two will have to agree in disagree. Will \m/ fight back hard this time? Will their allies help? If this were MK, or TOP, or GOD rather than \m/, the situation would have had a much different outcome. NpO chose to exercise it's course of action because they had a firm grasp on the situation and the repercussions to Polaris as an alliance, and the nations of polaris. If they also would have attacked PC, then the can that contains the worms would have been opened for this to move beyond their control. Thus why they are choosing to force PC to attack them and be the "aggressors" when in fact they are still the aggressors regardless of who attacks first.Might makes right. If I am not mistaken, PC has MDoAP's to FoB and Athens. Which at the very least gives these two the "option" of aggressing. Meaning that there is the possibility that NpO would leave itself open to attack from at the very least those 2 alliances. Leaving oneself open to the possibility of attack from 2 members of CnG let alone the enitre CnG block is hardly "stat hugging" as far as I am concerned. Maybe your definition is different than mine though, I guess we can debate how much NS required and how much potential NS versus your NS constitutes "stat hugging". Might indeed does make right in this world of power politics. As a leader of a raiding alliance, I would say that is pretty much the basis of why raiding is OK... As such any actions undertaken by Athens are also considered to have been taken by GOONS, thus making this GOONS second offense.I mean, duh. I don't get how in good consciousness you can just freely admit you didn't try to obtain clarification for something and instead just base hate off of something that I just proved to you was wrong. But no we don't made nothing, we just take a stand for what we believe and attack \m/, we are not asking others to act in the same way, we are just doing our own move as we have the right and sovereignty to do so, the same right and sovereignty you had to attack FoA and now are facing the consequences.
