Taking that into consideration the thread has grown to this size not because people like \m/ (most don't) or condone \m/s behavior (they don't) It grow to this size because a considerable amount of people are pissed off with Grubs action prior to and including this, that is a tremendous price. Where it goes remains to be seen. wouldn't it make more sense that it grew to this size because people don't like \m/ and want to bash \m/? My take is that about the same number of people actually approve Grub's actions, going through this and the other related thread, that's at least an impression one could get. Secondly, what \m/ do within their community, and whether you classify something they do with each other as racism, is not Polaris' nor your right to decide. Nobody but \m/ will ever have that right. this part is just false. if it was done in their private channel i would agree with you. but it is done in their public channel where anyone can see it and thus, given the fact that it is public, anyone can judge it. if they do not wish to be judged as a bunch of racists then they should keep their antics private and not public for all to see. so, yes, since it is public, we all have the right to judge them as we see fit. If what they believe in is being able to raid alliances and polar is trying to stop that practice, then perhaps polar shouldn't be holding treaties with GOONS and MK. Polar isn't going to get the "Defenders of Morality" label from me, as in this world there has never been such a thing, compared to many who have claimed such a title, even labeling their war coalitions as such. However, they have my respect, because after so many cries of "Bring It" and "Do Something About It" in the global discourse...Polar actually did something about it. They didn't try to lay political traps to do it, in order to cry foul, they instead decided to man up and do something about it directly and in your face. Whatever the eventual outcome, such a path is worthy of respect. I disagree for similar reasons. Even after doing it, they're so concerned with how it's perceived that they can't even own up to it being "just doing something." I didn't know Mushroom Kingdom condoned raiding alliances, considering their reaction to Athens little experiment with the practice. But I suppose you'd know better than I would on that count.
