Heft
All Spartans are entitled to participate in, and benefit from, any Spartan economic programs. Unfortunately, we do have some limited resources, such as having only so many internal tech sellers. In situations where our resources are limited and we have to choose between Spartans, we try to choose based on need (ie: we prefer to help boost people who need it, rather than people who are already secure). In a situation where there is an equal need between two Spartans, and one has worked for the alliance while the other has simply remained on the AA, we would obviously prefer to spend our resources on the person who has helped the alliance, and even then we would ensure that the other Spartan receive their own aid as soon as the resources open up.
So you did indeed create an economically privileged class within your alliance, and justified this as a reaction to a lack of internal tech sellers? Fascinating. sourcy
I have inside information that today, another spartan left the AA because of this class system after they spoke up and were told to F off by DA.

Fascinating.
I suppose you could look at it as that. I don't really see it that way. If the same situation arose (two Spartans with the same need, one who's worked for the AA and one who's contributed little or nothing) we'd end up aiding the working Spartan first. At most this just lets us determine the worker faster, rather than digging through forum histories. Ideally we'd like to be able to aid every Spartan in every aid round. When not possible, then yes, we prefer to aid our active membership first. I don't see that as unreasonable, especially since the sole requirement for this is: Do something for the alliance. Irish Republic
This thread is a total
[OOC]To give him some credit, I will concede that he was right about one thing in his resignation thread, though: this game is smegging boring - but it's worth playing thanks to the others who play it. DeathAdder
I have inside information that today, another spartan left the AA because of this class system after they spoke up and were told to F off by DA.
As usual, your information is sadly lacking and incorrect. They left because they wanted it their way and were unwilling to compromise, whereas I agreed with multiple points brought up by them. I'm not, however, going to entirely change a system that 15-30 people have openly voiced support for, before implementation, simply because 4-5 demand it almost a month after it was put into effect.. Even in a full democracy AA, they would be the minority. I'm also not vulgar enough to tell a member to "f-off" so please try harder in your Propaganda. It's pretty weak. It is every person's right to be able to choose where their loyalties lie, and if that particular member didn't feel that Sparta is for them anymore, well, better luck to them in Bob. That will not stop me from striving to move our Alliance forward and any weakness lost is a strength gained in my opinion. The twisted view that our program has anything at all to do with forum activity over overall-contribution is retarded, nothing more. Any Equal capable of reading is able to see that. You've already demonstrated on multiple instances that you can't read topics, or frankly just don't care. I'm leaning more towards the latter.
