Anyone who has an iota of knowledge about my actions while in Polaris would understand how ridiculous it is to think I was working, even passively, for MI6. The fact that I was a large part of our push to move closer to Oculus and sign with Pacifica is really all the evidence I need to absolve myself of Chimaera's poor word choice lol. I know, right? Damn this took forever.

I entirely feel bad about how abrupt this must seem to a lot of you and I feel bad about the lack of shoutouts and drama - and a little bit of shock glancing over the replies and not seeing any of the hate I expected from certain parties. Some people have asked for a full story and why the fuck not: (short version) I was told that my friends in Kashmir were being hit soon for the purpose of drawing in other alliances. I relayed this information to some people who could be trusted to relay this information quietly to both Kashmir and NSO (since NSO is allied/close to kash). The next day, plans shifted to hitting NSO directly. In my foolish loyalty to a coven of former friends, I relayed this information directly to NSO's Emperor Joe Stupid who then copy/pasted the logs into the NSO government forums. TheListener then decided to sell me out to Non Grata as a mole in some attempt to spare NSO's life. Given that I haven't seen NG hit NSO yet, I assume this was at least temporarily successful - so I guess I pseudo-achieved my goal of trying to protect/warn NSO, but not in the way that I necessarily intended. Honestly, I guess I underestimated the hate that most of NSO arbitrarily holds for me. Internet friends are fickle and I entirely did not expect the response I got from them. So am I angry at Oculus for trying to roll my friends? No, they're just playing the game. Am I salty with Polaris for expelling me? Nah. It had to be done. I hate to leave any place, game or geographic, angry. I feel like it's bad for your soul - It just sucks that the alliance that I literally stuck around in CN for, or rerolled for, or left other places to join ended up stabbing me in the back and finally killing my will to continue playing. Anyways: Good luck Polaris - I like to think I left you better than I found you. Y'all are a righteous community and I genuinely regret betraying the trust. Grub will be a good replacement though.

It's been fun for 6+ years. I hadn't planned on leaving so soon but the plan was in place and given recent events, I think it's best to leave. I'd do shout outs but I'd rather make this quick.

A lot to be said, both good and bad. I joined NSO initially to spite Legion. I left due to the inactivity during the post-war. Rejoined once I saw NSO engaged in a war. Left again because of inactivity and other personal reasons. Rejoined again out of nostalgia and left again due to personal reasons. My alliance hopping aside, I'm glad for the time spent with you guys - including many people who will never read this post.

Forming alliances in new, interesting worlds is usually a successful strategy for community continuity. Most famously - the New Pacific Order arrived from another world. Their original home remains very much intact. Several other, newer Pacificas have also been successful in various other worlds. UPN is the number one alliance in another world. VE is number two. Pacifica is in the top ten and most of the other prominent alliances stem from CN communities. The original migrants who formed the core alliances of CN back in 2006/07 were very successful in their time as well. GOONS, MK, Fark, LUE, and others. No it doesn't always work, and that is to be expected - but I wouldn't feel shy about trying.
