Azrael Alexander
Stagnant politics are a result of stagnant gameplay. The reason all 15 of the top alliances ally to each other is because there is no reason not too. There is no competitive edge to being somebody's enemy in this game. The best way to truly revolutionize the political aspect of the game is to introduce some form of competition. I can give you a dozen ways that this could be done off the top of my head, but there does not seem to be much support for this type of change despite some of the "CN is getting boring" bellyaching that pops up from time to time. Could you post on the MHA boards with these suggestion maybe we could flesh them out and get them in suggestion box
Wookie
I would be interested to see total gains and losses of the all the teams over the entire course of the war. Would be interesting to see who did well, and who got it handed to them...
Drai
Ok, so the add line is half of the lowest sanctioned alliance. But how is the drop line measure again? Edited September 10, 2008 by Drai
Silvara
The Drop Line is 0.3 points below the Add Line.

Lord Caspian
I think we can already tell that pretty well. for the most part you can, but it would be interesting to see which of the victors took the hardest hits. I haven't checked Unspeakable Evil's stats thread recently, but I imagine it would be pretty obvious in there if you can't see it here. Drai
Let's see if I'm any good at this. Oh, I also did this all without a calculator so don't blame me too much for any errors. September 10, 2008 1 New Pacific Order: 68.52 --> 68.76 (+0.24) 2 Independent Republic of Orange Nations: 60.37 --> 60.32 (-0.05) 3 Multicolored Cross-X Alliance: 44.76 --> 44.63 (-0.13) 4 Mostly Harmless Alliance: 37.19 --> 37.15 (-0.04) 5 Sparta: 36.33 --> 36.44 (+0.11) 6 Ragnarok: 33.67 --> 33.69 (+0.02) 7 Fark: 29.35 --> 29.37 (+0.02) 8 Orange Defense Network: 28.53 --> 28.50 (-0.03) The Order of the Paradox: 27.95 --> 28.03 (+0.08) 9 Viridian Entente: 25.51 --> 25.62 (+0.11) 10 The Phoenix Federation: 23.34 --> 24.63 (+1.29) 11 FOK: 24.46 --> 24.46 (0.00) 12 Grand Global Alliance: 23.44 --> 23.46 (+0.02) ----------------- The Grämlins: 21.39 --> 20.77 (-0.62) Echelon: 19.69 --> 19.74 (+0.05) 13 The Order of Light: 18.27 --> 18.25 (-0.02) 14 Green Protection Agency: 18.14 --> 18.24 (+0.10) 15 United Purple Nations: 16.38 --> 16.45 (+0.07) 16 The Democratic Order: 16.30 --> 16.36 (+0.06) 17 New Polar Order: 15.33 --> 15.33 (+0.00) Valhalla: 14.87 --> 15.03 (+0.16) Global Radiation Level : 14.75 --> 14.78 (+0.03) 18 Global Democratic Alliance: 14.62 --> 14.58 (-0.04) 19 Monos Archein: 14.13 --> 14.13 (+0.00) NATO: 12.63 --> 12.64 (+0.01) LoSS: 12.54 --> 12.56 (+0.02) 20 The Dark Evolution: 12.35 21 Invicta: 11.79 --> 11.82 (+0.03) Random Insanity Alliance: 11.78 --> 11.81 (+0.03) ---------- Add Line: 11.67 --> 11.73 (+0.06) Mushroom Kingdom: 11.38 --> 11.62 (+0.24) The Legion: 11.61 --> 11.59 (-0.02) RnR: 11.42 --> 11.48 (+0.06) ---------- Drop Line: 11.37 --> 11.43 (+0.06) World Task Force: 11.35 --> 11.37 (+0.02) North Atlantic Defense Coalition: 11.27 --> 11.31 (+0.04) Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations: 11.31 --> 11.30 (-0.01) Biggest Gainer The Phoenix Federation: (+1.29) Biggest Loser The Grämlins: (-0.62) Passes of the Day The Phoenix Federation passes FOK and Grand Global Alliance. Mushroom Kingdom passes The Legion and RnR. North Atlantic Defense Coalition passes Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations. Commentary Well Mushroom Kingdom's posts an excellent gain today. Overall, a boring day for the sanctioned alliances, with the exception of The Phoenix Federation who earned the biggest gainer and The New Pacific Order who does their job as the #1 alliance earning a near quarter point gain whilst none of the other sanctioned alliances change by more than 0.13. The Grämlins takes another hit this time going down by 0.62, to win today's episode of "The Biggest Loser". Maybe too much exercise? The New Polar Order and Monos Archein both post 0.00 changes from yestreday's score, which is likely a good thing in NpO's case given their hefty reparations. And finally, it appears the Global Radiation Level continues to rise. Today's special shoutout is long overdue and goes to NATO who are still amazingly within a point of where they were back in November 2007. Could they be the next RIA? (just checked and NATO has gained 0.12 points since Jan 1, 2008) ----------------------- Related Links: Stats by Unspeakable Evil Lord Sharpe's MDP Web Vote for Cybernations Daily!
