My brother's watched me play CN for a while and been really interested in it. Would there be any issue if I let him create a TE account (resulting in one SE and one TE account on our IP; SE account = mine, TE account = his) besides the "If he gets banned then I get banned" thing?

vBulletin is ok if you can figure it out, but IPB is significantly easier to use and cheaper, and is also a much better (and less buggy) piece of software imo. That and you don't get screwed by license changes when you want to upgrade. @OP: IPB3 was a complete rewrite; it literally shares no code with IPB2. The differences aren't too big from the user's perspective, but for admins, webmasters, etc., it's a huge difference.

I'm interested - What are these vulnerabilities for Chrome and Safari? I use them both as my primary browsers, so..

3 bugs: The tools menu is nonfunctional in any WebKit-based browser on OSX. I normally use Safari or Chrome, and it's a pain to start up Firefox just for this site. "Remember me" on the login page doesn't work; I still have to log in every time. Hitting spacebar isn't working to select checkboxes in the resource list on the infra calculator since the latest update. $5 donation for each one you fix. Also: lmao at your saying IE is a good browser.

One of them has no WRC, nukes or warchest and the other has only 2.6k tech, a small navy and totally failed to hit me with his blitz earlier today. Though I'd definitely be a lot happier if I had more nations my size helping me out.

Have fun with this one: When you click on either the standard or extended tab at the top, it adds "&extended=" and either a 0 or 1 to the URL depending on your choice. You end up with something like this: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=139990&Extended=0 If you then log out (either manually or automatically), you get given this URL when you next try to view your nation (probably from refreshing after being afk for a while): http://www.cybernations.net/login.asp?accessdenied=%2Fnation%5Fdrill%5Fdisplay%2Easp%3FNation%5FID%3D139990%26Extended%3D0 After logging in from that link, you get redirected to this URL... http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=139990&Extended=0 ...Which brings you to your default page instead of the one specified in the URL.

There's a much better one in beta testing by IPS. IPB's not ancient.

The banner needs redone but overall I'm a huge fan of IPB3, so I have little else to complain about.

I actually like the new theme a lot. I've been using IPB3 since before the first betas though, so that's probably skewed my perception a little. When I upgraded GDA's forums, everyone hated it at first, but within a week or two no one mentioned it at all. Several members commented that they'd actually learned to like it a lot after using it. Just give it time. Also: IPB3 ftw. Thanks Admin, I've been waiting months for this lol. Glitches that need fixed: Custom fields on the left are messed up, and please rebuild signature content if you aren't doing it already.
