I'm not distancing myself from anything. Polaris' (the alliance that issued the initial DoW) only goal was NSO. The fact other people had other desires is secondary to that fact. I have never once stated we didn't support the people who helped us in achieving their goals as well. The bullshit crying over the terms doesn't hold any water when the only term was for the nations who sat out the entire war in peace mode to stay there for a while post war as well. At the time I was told quite correctly, never issue or support terms we wouldn't accept ourselves without complaint. I didn't!

OsRaven and others who have been so kind as to offer advice on why we should call in all allies immediately, I thank you for your caring and thoughtful advice. Here's the thing... When you want a war, you attack the actual targets. Last war we wanted NSO, we attacked NSO. Nothing was left to chance in that war because had they chose to call no allies, we wouldn't have cared. It would have been a shorter war and then done. Mission accomplished. So you understand this wasn't a one of thing I'll give you another example. In the Grudge war, TOP and IRON wanted our blood. Guess what, they attacked us and got it! Once again had we called no allies at all, they have still accomplished their goal. It's a pretty complicated concept, but if you think about it long enough, you'll understand it. So now we have the current war. Some of the people attacking us wanted Polar blood. Some of you have been beaten by us in successive wars and we have no issue with that because every dog has their day. For the alliances fighting us, they are fighting us because it's what they want, simple. At this point there are others not involved yet who have other goals. Now comes the part you need to concentrate for. My job isn't to help those who wish to attack our allies. My job is to make sure you earn every single drop of blood you get. I'm glad it is bugging you and I'm glad those already in don't relish the prospect of this war still going when they were hoping they'd be rebuilt and on to the next one. It has been no secret Polars love a long war. You knew it before you started. Now you will have a long war. Enjoy it! If you are wondering what it will be like, just remember the last time you faced a rogue who had full military wonders and was beat down to your little guys size. We've all had them. Now multiply that by hundreds. War is peace.

So much angry trash talk but also some really good honest statements from some people on both sides. I'll just make the following comment to the people who have been upfront about it not just being about Polar. This is true, just as it wasn't about SNX when that started. Here's where you have a problem though. Your strategy was flawed in sending so much NS at us the calling allies wouldn't change it. You removed my reason to call them! I'll not be so silly as to state we won't ever expand the war, but if we do it will be when we see it helping our side. You may need a lot of patience given how I feel just now and on how much our members are enjoying this war. On the matter of people saying who is performing well, who isn't blah blah... Give it time. Some people will always do well in war, others not, they may have strengths in other aspects of CN. Some alliances strategies will be about going in hard to win it fast, others will be about taking their time to savour the meal. Let's all enjoy it for what it is and analyze who is doing well and who isn't in a few months time.

That's ok, at least I understand your logic now. Forgive me if It don't regard a four year old grudge as logic considering TOP has been our ally for quite a while!

I must admit I'm amused as well to see Grämlins sign a treaty during a war so they could bandwagon in safety with a ton of alliences for the reason of a "well documented" dislike that none have ever mentioned to us and I certainly didn't even know about! Quality work Grämlins, your bravery is only matched by your abilities to communicate issues like adults.

I'll be the wet blanket and admit our choice of NG and DS to counter was absolutely as political and making the best of poor options due to treaties as NG's place to enter. Make no mistake neither NG or Polaris will take it easy on each other but the truth is we have both moved a long way passed wishing to fight each other.

I'm no fan of sanction wars but surely this is all part of choosing a colour sphere that is stable and run by people who don't do it.

For some time now we've been growing a fine stockpile of nukes. We have realised though, we are being selfish. What's the point of 4000 nukes if you don't share them? In defence of our allies Supernova-X and Invicta, the New Polar Order declares war on Doom Squad. While we are at it, we also declare war on the bandwagonners, Non Grata. A little note for the rest of the peanut gallery, you never did break Aftermath. Whilst we eventually got them to agree to let us help, you'd have been here this time next year getting them to ask! Guys ease up on Bob, he's under some serious pressure. It's not easy being one of the leaders of a coalition and still not at war when your puppets are in deep. To make matters worse, the other side are being dicks and not calling the treaties you need called to commit people to the right front! Bob knows this coalition's failed policy of winging it and relying on the other side to act predictably isn't working and if we aren't baited in soon there's a question of what front to find new puppets to open, and who will volunteer? Bob, just for you I will explain something. This policy isn't actually directly connected to the wider war. It's a response to DBDC's declaration of war on us. If you look at previous times DBDC have attacked Polar nations it was dressed and presented as a raid, along with peace offers and all. This time it wasn't. The wider community though has advocated this as the only viable (albeit difficult) approach for quite some time, but also knew it would likely trigger a global war to attempt it. Polaris isn't all that worried about losing a war, we've been there before, sometime spectacularly! We were however very afraid to start a potentially catastrophic war for our allies who have stood with us through thick and thin, and deserve better. So now your coalition of cowards has launched the war. A war specifically aimed at grabbing power and control over planet Bob, as expressly stated by Letum. Now is the time to start this, you have removed the only thing stopping us. You jump on your propaganda box like a hero screaming look they haven't hit anyone but DT Probes, like it's a significant point. The fact is there's a war rolling out and the rest will wait until it doesn't matter or will chose to stop as once the war is rolling they have no reason to. This is a long term policy of ours as I stated clearly in the OP. It runs until we have an agreement with DBDC, as I also stated in the OP. Don't take the lack of wars as an indication either on the success or failure of this plan. We're old fashioned and sometimes use diplomacy first, as shocking a revelation as this may be to you!

Actually they don't need wait one minute. They're well aware their allies will enter as soon as they wish us to. Atm I think they're enjoying seeing who else will cowardly bandwagon in.

As such I'm sure you can understand in a war no one on our side wanted, we aren't going to make it easy for your coalition. We will be in, make no mistake. Last war we went directly for who we had an issue with. This time around we have Pacificans saying they hit SNX to get at Polaris. Do I need draw you a map? I will if I need to.
