  1. About ten seconds work shows this and I certainly didn't go though them all to find them! http://www.cybernations.net/search_aid.asp?search=499330&Extended=1 http://www.cybernations.net/search_aid.asp?search=527670&Extended=1 http://www.cybernations.net/search_aid.asp?search=525861&Extended=1 The situation remains unchanged.
  2. This made me laugh hard. Awesome work! Seriously though, every surrender ever just about includes the term forbidding aid to the alliances still at war. Your own sides terms just in the past week have as well. We are all agreed that aiding people at war is an act of war. We are all agreed that DBDC and Polaris are at war. As I said in the announcement at the time, this doesn't change until DBDC and Polaris have reached an agreement. There's really nothing controversial about it.
  3. It's taken me years but I finally delivered something controversial. For an old conservative bloke that's an achievement! Take a look at the peace terms for Afm, Legion etc. Clearly we agree on the topic of aiding nations at war or your coalition wouldn't put that condition in there.
  4. The saddest part in this is just before the attack Avalanche lost their forums due to unconnected OOC reasons so they can't even co-ordinate or communicate easily with each other, let alone fight this war effectively. Note: I doubt the coalition were aware of this at all and it is not a propaganda point to be used by anyone.
  5. Go look at the dates of the last war than read the sanction race thread for the last month+ of that war. While IRON was growing TOP was fighting. Get some dignity and stop this crap please!
  6. I was quite a bit behind in this discussion and it's a pretty interesting one. Let me clear up some misconceptions as we have more than a few people who put words in my mouths and attributing quotes I have never made. EViL0nE read it right though. I have stated many times I believe this war will go for a long time yet. I've not said once that it's my desire. Nothing I've seen or heard lately has changed that opinion. As for this crap about Polar refusing to discuss peace, I've not been approached. Considering others decided they would start this war, when they feel they have had their fill they can let me know. At this point no such feelings have been expressed. Finally if anyone thinks we are leaving without ALL of our allies out, don't bother asking. Carry on...
  7. That's nice. We've already seen examples over the past months of what happens to anyone who doesn't do as they're told. I expect over the coming year we'll see a great many more. You're comfortable with your position, we're comfortable with ours. Let's continue to enjoy the ride and see how it all plays out.
  8. Yeah DBDC most certainly can. They have an abundance of alliances who will do exactly as ordered rather than be cast out of the favourable group.
  9. I'm very pleased to see this conflict end. Huge congrats to all but particularly our allies Legion who once again showed they are a solid and competent group.
  10. Mate it's not a CB, it's an excuse. Don't stress too bad though because next war they'll be fighting the less valued members of their own coalition and we can sit back and laugh.
  11. Please drop the terms nonsense Shah when you were also in the coalition that imposed them and the strongest supporter of terms is now in your current coalition as well. We have a good war going, don't ruin it with drivel. You're better than that.
  12. It only applies to alliances not helping you do it though...
  13. I'm amused greatly by the lies in this thread and I thank DT from the bottom of my bowels for making sure the politics over the next few years will be interesting.
  14. You're with us Chim, the group who's supposed to hate TOP because they aren't doing it how the coalition want them to :D
  15. I'm quoting this so I don't lose it later :D
  16. Sadly that's what this coalition is all about, war without reason because they can. I'll enjoy the future watching many of the alliances supporting it now complaining and trying to distance themselves from it when the chickens come home to roost.
  17. Mate we're going to be at war and outnumbered for ages yet. I'd rather see TOP playing it smart as they are than some short blaze of glory.
  18. The only post before his was yours! Berbers here's a suggestion. You worry about your allies and we'll worry about ours. If TOP's tactics upset you then they're doing it right.
  19. Shah TOP's allies have no issue with TOP fighting it how they wish. If it draw posts complaining about it from the other side they must be doing something right ;)
  20. I get your point HoT but think "using" your stats would be a more accurate description for some alliances. If the goal is only preserving stats then we'd all be neutral. Using stats on the other hand can certainly be an investment as you quite accurately describe.
  21. Once you get past the personality clashes this thread is a pretty interesting read. There's been two very different lines of opinion and as usually the truth falls somewhere in the middle. The one thing I strongly agree with is Azaghul's statement "TOP and NpO made mistakes." They are mistakes we'll discuss and enjoy rectifying together in the future no doubt :D
  22. To be fair I think you are comparing different peoples opinions and most of them have maintained their personal stance all along. I watched this thread with interest and while it obviously would help us if GPA went all out I think D34th summed it up quite nicely. In GPA's defence I've seen them stand their ground at great expense over rogues so without knowing the details I tend to believe them when they say they have an agreement that's worthwhile to them. Congrats GPA.
  23. Broadly on the topic of no-chaining clauses. If they are fully exercised by e-lawyers then unless your treaty partner is the very first alliance hit in a war, you're never obligated to help in any way. Bob would be a funny world if everyone thought that way.
