  1. The only times I can remember there being division on the Red sphere was NR's and Vox's senate runs. After all, when there's only one alliance in the sphere, it's hard to not work together.
  2. Don't you feel annoyed then, that the coalition that you were one of the figureheads for, and whose military planning you took care of, and whose sig you still wear, now claims that that war wasn't fought for ethics and morals?
  3. Wait, it wasn't? I thought that was the gist of it, that we declared wars occasionally and hurt people's feelings. Nobody is going to start acting like a tyrant because the first alliance that does is going to be handing a very convenient justification for war to all the alliances on Bob that have been sitting around bored since Armageddon. You guys made this brave new world. When are you going to start enjoying it?
  4. I find it hilarious that the Karma-ites can say that ethics had nothing to do with it. Ethics and morals were your rallying cry and the basis of your movement. You simply turned your back on them once the power relationship changed.
  5. This is no 'PR stunt'. We gave up something of value, we gave up a senate seat. This is an obvious and quantifiable change in our policies. We have opened up the Red senate. What are these "same tricks", Timeline? If you're going to claim it, back it up with something. And only time will tell, eh? Is that your resolve cracking?
  6. I think you'll find that we could hold 3 senate seats, and were before the last senate reset. And yet CoJ has a seat. And their candidate was helped there by Pacifican votes. We didn't have to give up the seat, but we did, in the interests of furthering Red unity. I hope you can comprehend this simple concept.
  7. Oppressors! Fascists! Warmongers! Imperialists! Did I miss any of the buzzwords? This, the first peaceful acquisition of a Red senate seat by a non-Pacifican, shows that the New Pacific Order is committed to working with other Red alliances for the mutual benefit of all on our sphere. Pacificans are voting for the CoJ senator. Should other alliances move to Red, we will work with them too. You really need to wake up to the new world here on Bob. Remember that war a few months back? That kind of changed a few things.
  8. A leader with supreme authority aided by a council of advisers.
  9. So I hurd dat pink is teh suxors? Seriously though, congratulations guys. I'm expecting great things from Rage.
  10. I too was sure that I'd already seen one of these. Anyway, good luck NSO, I guess if anyone can reform RyanGDI, it's you guys.
  11. I agree that democracies are terribly slow and inefficient. How can decisions be made quickly and effectively if every member has to vote on the issue? Plus, with government being changed so regularly, it becomes harder to maintain policies as different leaders have different views.
  12. So we're just skipping over the 'prior knowledge and encouragement' part in the OV incident?
  13. Congratulations on freedom Echelon, you deserve it.
  14. I think Joe was pointing out the difference that Sethb was aware of and encouraging the spying beforehand, whereas NPO was not. Not that that absolves us of blame, but it is an important point.
  15. You responded to them, I wouldn't really say you addressed them except for my GWIII/pink mistake, but I'm happy to drop it if you are. Only got into it because I was asked.
  16. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?s...t&p=1889328 http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?s...t&p=1889356 There ya go mang, get back to me when you can. Also yes, sorry bout that. For some reason I have it stuck in my head that you were sent to Pink after surrender in GWIII, I must have you confused with someone else. I don't know why I said that when I'd just said I was wrong about GWIII in the post before >_>
  17. I had many points, not one, and you refuted a part of one of them. Kudos. Care to address the rest? I said that you fought for Aegis as part of my first point where I said that you fought for Aegis and were moved to Pink. It wasn't even the fact that you fought for Aegis, it was the fact that you accepted moving spheres, and Pink to top it off, as a surrender term. And before you go "lol changing the focus of your post", I'm not. You picked up on the part that was incorrect and made that the subject of discussion. So. Should I give you a link to my list of points and you can start proving that I'm wrong?
  18. What, because I thought you fought for Aegis in GWIII, that invalidates all my points? Interesting. So yes, I was wrong on that point. My view of Sparta is the correct one, though, and having somebody from Argent that was arguing vehemently with me in another thread agreeing with me should show you that it's not a view that I've cooked up all by myself. If you refuse to acknowledge the failings of your alliance then it is no concern of mine. You keep saying things like you do have culture besides 300 and that moving spheres is a monumentally complex decision, yet you fail to say why or provide any proof or justification. If I'm so wrong, why won't you prove it?
  19. Fine, I'll go through the history. You may not have fought for Aegis, but I remember you having a run in with the Initiative. How bloody long does it take to research and decide on a sphere? Seriously, how hard is it to decide on a sphere? Look at the number of nations for trading purposes, look at the alliances residing on the sphere, figure out what you want from your home sphere, move. What took you so long? Heh, nice attempt at a deflection/flame bait, I'd give it a 7/10. I have no desire to sign up there, what would be the purpose? I tend to stay away from alliances I have nothing but contempt for. As I said, you are a cookie cutter alliance with a 300 movie poster pasted over it. Pretty much everything you have is generic, the only thing that made you stand out was the 300 connection.
  20. Exactly, not comparing alliances to each other. Which you said in an earlier post. Which we aren't doing.
  21. I find it hilarious that you two say that your culture isn't 300 references yet you can't give me any examples. Surely there's a few things there you can point to, if I'm what I'm saying is wrong. You fought on the Aegis side against The Initiative in GWIII, didn't you not? And you were on Pink a lot longer than you had to be, IIRC. So would you like to actually refute something, or do you enjoy waving your arms and sounding angry?
  22. Yes exactly, so they aren't comparing alliances. Making your post sound like you were disagreeing with me while actually agreeing is quite a skill.
  23. Your ranking and status fell in your lap when the status quo was shattered.
  24. Hid? Heh. Don't remember us sitting out of many wars. Whatever you think of our military prowess, our members fight when ordered and don't sit around doing tech deals during the biggest war in history. That alone makes us much more able to back up our former #1 than Sparta with #2.
  25. Sparta has no redeeming features to counteract them. Actually, that was in response to you asking "Really?" when I said you have a god-awful military. In case you don't know, the real life Sparta in Ancient Greece was probably the most militaristic society in history. Somehow I thought that an alliance based on that would at least have a halfway decent military. But you decided to retaliate anyway? No, I don't. I hardly think that means I don't know you though. I seem to remember Spartans making posts on the OWF and in AA since I've been playing.
