1.
I'd have to agree here, SCY is far more terrible than Teddyyo.
Eh, SCY posts more often, but while he is annoying, every single one of Teddyyo's posts are horrible.
 2.
Starts as a joke, but I've little doubts that the controlling of individual nations freedom of movement will soon become a feature of the new world we are headed to. Just as the Hegemony sought to enforce its will upon individual nations via PZI, so too does DH by blackmailing alliances with reps. I'm so excited to see what kind of fair terms the next surrendering alliance will receive.
This is just like Nasty Germany!
 3.
I was thinking a very subtle effect like this (if someone with more skill made it without the graininess) might look nice:
That looks pretty good.
 4.
Mmhm. But really, what's the point of playing if I'm just getting nuked into oblivion? Isn't it supposed to be fun?
You should quit, to send a strong message to all of us about this kind of behaviour.
 5.
And another one bites the dust. o/ MK o/ GOONS o/ Umbrella
Thankyou for that stellar contribution.
 6. Thanks for the assistance CD. Congrats on peace, here's to swift rebuilding.
 7.
If you and Hyperion nominate me, I'll only need to scrounge up one or two nominations to make it to the field of 64. Maybe I can pull a Davidson or a VCU?
I picked up a couple of late ones, surprised there weren't more.
 8. Thankyou for the assistance, PhR. Congrats on peace.
 9.
Sorry if my sarcasm was too dry, but "dream big" was exactly that. GOONS is currently at 4.6K ANS with about 1.8M total NS. Saying they'll be able to do enough damage to stop us from gaining 1.3M NS doesn't inspire much confidence.
We have to start somewhere :<
 10.
If your not part of the solution your part of the problem, i think this sums up almost every post, theres no right move for NPO to make either way ends with them taking a brutal beating, id probably just get it over with already if your waiting for the citizens and alliances of bob to get outraged and attack DH your wasting your time, no one cares enough about you to do anything about it, either that or we just like to watch we're kinda messed up in that way.
They're not waiting for you to ride in on your white horse and save the day. They are adhering to a strategy which they, rightly or wrongly, think will produce the best results for them. So I'm really not sure what you're trying to say there.
 11.
Another clueless one appears, if you really think we surrendered then you keep thinking that
Semantics, don't fail me now!
And you think your on our radar?
Errrrr. Since Cairna was responding to Semantics Man over there, the radar comment wasn't meant to be taken as "You're irrelevant and thus I don't care about you!". It was instead a statement that Cairna doesn't know and doesn't particularly care to know all the ins and outs of your little deal with wF to jump back into the war. Why that led you to devolve to childish cries of 'I don't care about you either!' I'm not sure.
 12.
Most alliances in CN are very much socialist, and don't even know it. Communism in Planet Bob is however useless, has an incredible failure rate, and is overall a boring way to role play and live.
I would add OOC nationalisms and religions to that list.
 13.
What has NSO done to keep the world intresting? Lost three wars in a row. Big deal. Or is being part of the cowardly peace-mode coaltion that keeps the world intresting? Your own sense of worth is laughable.
No need to rage, no need to hate, why not try and form some sort of cogent debate? 2 years and still going strong. Hail the Order!
 14.
It's official...people will nitpick ANYTHING. WC..you look like a class A !@#$% right now. I think you are the only single person that read it like that.
Cheers bro. But yeah, totally, I brought it up just to nitpick. Or maybe because I think bringing anything OOC, but especially something of that magnitude, into a declaration of war is silly. Even more so when it is mentioned in the sentence which says who they are declaring on and why. I said I was sorry for their loss, that I'd obviously read it differently than intended, and explained why. So get off your high horse.
 15.
Zog's WoT
Bloody hell, strawman much? My post you quoted was directed at you guys cringing and wringing your hands and saying 'aww, we had to hit NPO, FAN asked us!'. I don't care about your timeline or the one hundred and one other things you brought up there. What I was saying was own your actions, don't palm it off to FAN. NoR chose to support the cause of this war when you committed your nations to winning it.
The loss of our member is not the reason for the declaration of war against the New Pacific Order. It is merely a footnote in the OP if you did not notice. However, as he died around 24 hours before our declaration, many members have felt the desire to commemorate their wars in his name. As a tribute. He was a faithful long-standing member since 2006, like the old members such as I. And in that spirit... he is being given tribute by our people. It is not the reason for the war. Now, people... please get back to the issue at hand. How long until New Pacific Order falls below Nordreich's ANS? (I keed) Kindest Regards, Cuba
If it was a footnote I wouldn't have said anything. It was its placement here that caught my attention: Tonight, in support of our allies, and to honour the memory of a fallen brother, we declare war on the New Pacific Order. I guess I'm just reading it differently than it was intended, and I'll drop it now, it just seemed to be suggesting that the DoW was in some way avenging him.
 16.
Just about had enough of this, we are an alliance of warriors and dedicating a war to our fallen friend is how we choose to honor him, really has nothing to do with you.
And NPO has nothing to do with him. Why tack him on as part of the reason for the DoW? I'm sorry for your loss but bringing him into this doesn't sit well with me. Reminds me of a famous incident with the Legion.
 17.
I'm guessing that was the GOD guys leaving. Y'all happy now? >_>
No, I'm still wondering why you thought it was a good idea in the first place. But I'd stopped caring until you had your little dig.
 18.
Of course there is choice involved. There is choice involved in everything. But what kind of friends would we be if we automatically said no? Better yet, what kind of friends would we be if we automatically said yes? I know the whole treaty web can mess with a person's brain sometimes, but not all actions need to be written into official, automatic, and binding conditions. Of course we made the choice to enter the war alongside FAN. We're not passing the responsibility for our declaration onto FAN, we'll gladly take responsibility for our actions. But if you're looking for a reason for us entering, FAN's request would be that reason. Hopefully that makes things a bit clearer.
Fair enough, but what I was getting at was that NoR is trying to say that they only joined this war because FAN asked, but as you say it was a choice. It seems odd to me that NoR would choose to honour the request to enter an offensive war where the original attackers say they are winning the war handily. It seems like there must have been other considerations, as if they are winning as they say, your entry against the central, already-outgunned defender has little effect on the outcome of the war.
Tonight, in support of our allies, and to honour the memory of a fallen brother, we declare war on the New Pacific Order.
[OOC] Also, why are you bringing this into the DoW and trying to direct it at Pacifica? [/OOC]
 19.
OMG LOOKS LIEK NSO NEED HALP!!!
GOONS is the vanguard of our destruction. :<
 20.
We don't need a permit to do anything. Ever. Though if you must be told again, we were asked by a good friend. Any and all bitter feelings towards the NPO are secondary to helping our friends.
Does FAN asking get them an automatic yes? Otherwise, there is a large element of choice involved in your actions, which makes your attempts to paint this as though you are obligated to help them in an offensive war appear pretty weak.
 21.
Also any idea of that TOP and IRON would be moving away from each other has since vanished.
You actually thought they would?
 22.
2)What is your point. NPO was complicit in every negative event in NoR 1.0's past that lead to its destruction. Why wouldn't we harbor some resentment for that.
I think you'll find that NPO treaty was the life support keeping NoR 1.0 alive. And I have to question the rest of your assertion, I've asked Zog the same thing and he had no answer. If NPO was so horrible to NoR 1.0, why did Martens found NoV under their protection soon so after NoR died?
 23.
That does make me sad. People like us are the true losers in the war.
It is a terrible injustice, I agree. How am I supposed to pass 4M casualties like this?
