Avalon's outrage was here on the forums during NADC. Likewise for the NoCB in fact we offered to help pay the reps for Athens but Londo turned us down.

There is no crying, quite the opposite, we were laughing at the irony of the situation. As for TPF's honour, we are satisfied that they understand the definition well enough. If they did not however and had broken the NAP in the same manner and attacked Poison Clan, then you can be most assured that Avalon would not be by there side this day. Likewise had TPF requested our involvement to support the NPO attacks on OV or to jump in on a curbstomp gang-bang we would have equally refused. More so we would have also been publicly calling them to task on such atrocities of decency. This however is not what has happened and they were not the ones to break this treaty.

Avalon until now has not had any formal treaties, but I would not say that we operated in the anarchy that you describe. Our policy was very simple and straight forward, but certainly not random or unpredictable. We do what we feel is the honourable thing, and put morally right ABOVE friendship. Put simply we refuse to make promises other than "we will support you if we think you are in the right and need our help". This was to prevent us being forced by treaty to get involved in a curb stomp or to support an ally under attack for something if situation reversed we would be attacking ourselves. In order to make this more clear we will be demonstrating who we wish to hold with and give such promises to by signing forms of ODPs but nothing that doesn't start with the big 'O' at the front. OPIAT, ONAP, ODP, ODAP, etc etc. However from our role play perspective, the idea that there is a difference between a PIAT and a MDAP is kind of silly. A friend is a friend. Who wouldn't ride with them in a righteous crusade to hell if they needed it? Every friend is EVERY treaty to us, just prefaced with "optional, in the case of a dishonourable cause" . The only reason we attach acronyms to it is for our friends and the greater cyberverse who only function in such terms.

Most purple feel that being on any side other than the rest of purple is the wrong side. It is beyond just a matter of honor it is a matter of love, Purple is family. However every family has its disagreements and what Pansy and Legion have said hold true. We can understand and respect your decision even if we don't agree with it. In the end family forgive one another, especially for following their hearts. Just expect to hear this a whole bunch: ''M*A*S*H, you're a fellow Purple, and we love you.
