  1. Oh my word, 328 hours, was that a typo!?! @Bower3aj: I love your avatar!
  2. Thank you to all the friends of both RAD and Avalon who posted their support of the this peace announcement. Avalon wishes to thank RAD for the classy and fun fight, it is always nice to go an entire war without anyone on either side degenerating into nastiness. We all are influenced by those with whom we interact, and in this case we can safely state that Avalon is better off having met RAD even if it took a conflict to introduce us. B) A personal special thanks from myself out to Penkalaland for assistance with this treaty. A combination of affairs of state, battlefield operations, and personal matters had conspired to keep me very busy and he offered too take the burden of working out so many details both here and throughout the war. It is most appreciated. Indeed , too bad we did not get to face off at an earlier time in the conflict when we could have tangled with more of Dark Templar. Unfortunately NS ranges being what they are it is mostly a slightly boring narrow-band skirmish.
  3. Greetings and hearty welcome to a fellow Monarchy. It is refreshing to see someone put the greater effort into the vexology of their regalia instead of into the fancy photoshop work. Do you have a crown emblazoned emblem or ensign signifying your Monarchy status?
  4. What is this, another onslaught? Good luck and see you all on the battlefield.
  5. Yeah damn pesky rule of law, holding justice as the highest priority, can't have that now can we Welcome to the world of tomorrow:
  6. Two incredible alliances finally getting together. Good job! Long Live UPN! Long Live FEAR!
  7. Actually several members of Karma alliances have spoken out against PC's actions in this very thread. I imagine you mean no official denunciations or such. However remember that those take time.
  8. I do not have to as you pointed out, you just did it for me. That whole "we beat them to it" means that there is a time that you did not honour a treaty. As for burning in hell, no need to do so for your allies, PC's own conduct will assure it a spot amongst the flames of damnation quite well enough on its own merit, or lack thereof.
  9. So aimed at taunting TPF or not PC is raiding an alliance that minds its own business, is well over a year old, is neutral in the current conflict (despite having treaty that would have allowed them to attack PC), and has 18 members. They do this even filling up 3 defensive slots on some of them, and avoid the more powerful ones. Gee it seems that we have been granted a glimpse as to the inner workings of Poison Clan Headquarters: You should be ashamed of yourselves. Then again you don't seem to be much into upholding your word of honour in treaties, so why would one expect that you would actually show some class or courage on the battlefield?
  10. Agreed, this would be a vast improvement in many respects. Land stolen is proportional to your existing land unrelated to defending land. Although it does not directly address the OP question of how to make it easier to buy, only how to protect it.
  11. Great to see more Purple love going around. Congrats to both parties. Long Live Purple! Long Live Invicta! Long Live Fallen Knights!
  12. Avalon wants to hear about it, we missed our Space Marine brothers! Glad to see you get this finally off the ground. Now if we could only ever get our treaty worked out lol.
  13. Welcome to the Purple Party! Glad that you could make it! Long Live Purple! Long Live Lux Aeterna!
  14. Congrats to Aurora Borealis on finally finding some rest. Hail to your brave warriors. May you rebuild as swiftly as you fought valiantly. Long Live Aurora Borealis!
  15. ...and that is why I have always enjoyed your posts Deathcat. Good luck TPF!
  16. Yeah we like him too and I like your avatar, Semper Fi!
  17. Actually Avalon's top tier currently in peace mode were originally Avalon's middle tier. Avalon's top provinces have been in the fight from the opening festivities. Avalon's government leads from the front, and aims to take a greater proportion of the damage. We suceeded thus far having taken an average of over 16 nukes a piece and thus are no longer at the top level of our country. Happens when you get the unhealthy green glow. Those in the mid ranks were sent to peace mode and thus now currently sit at the top, though they would not claim to be banks (as we don't run banks), rather they would claim to be (begrudgingly) following orders. We are quite proud of them as much as those who fight as every Lord of Avalon has been following the island's battle plans.
  18. Congratulations, good job to you all. Long Live Purple! Long Live The Order of the Four Leaf Clover! Long Live Poseidon!
  19. There is no greater honour or higher praise that I can imagine than this when coming from BAPs.
  20. Ask an ye shall recieve my fellow lord. Unfortunately this leaves us in a tough spot, we have tried to fill as many requests to dance as possible however we are currently full up on partners (read ooc: outgoing slots) so unfortunately we may have to insist that more of our enemies use the self service pumps (read ooc: defensive slots). Unfortunately not enough have chosen to avail themselves of this opportunity.
  21. Avalon most definitely has a problem with being bandwagoned and with bandwagoners (note our war with PC), however given the circumstances of ARES entering in so much as we were tough opponenets, we do not see it as such in this case. While we do have problems with the ARES DoW (kinda self evident given it is a war afterall), namely what they are fighting for (helping friends to support treaty violators and bandwagoners) and entering into an unfair matchup, that does not mean that we consider their entrance without a treaty to be itself wrong. However we would prefer that people fought by their conscience rather than just friendship in such cases. Supporting your friend because they are your friend, even when they are in the wrong, makes you wrong for fighting. As for dropping all of our treaties, we only have one, and that is with TPF, since TPF wishes to keep things ordered via the treaty web as their friends we will respect their wishes. However it would be hypocritical of Avalon to hold ARES to a standard of treaty obligation that we ourselves do not adhere to. Please do not be upset, Avalon loves magicninja as much as always B) Probably not, and in fact I requested that ARES do such if only to make things simpler for all around. However what is done is done, don't worry about what everyone else is saying, it is between Avalon and ARES and we have an understanding on the issue.
  22. To which Avalon agrees wholeheartedly. Fighting for honour is as valid as fighting for a treaty. While we try to live by the general etiquette on planet Bob, we feel too much is assigned to treaties and not to honour itself. In this particular case however we naturally disagree with ARES viewpoint, since they are supporting RAD in support of the PC NAP breaking dishnour. However while PC is bandwagoning let me make this perfectly clear: Avalon does NOT see ARES action as bandwagoning! Joe and I spoke today and worked out any such issues. While we thank our good and loyal friends in TPF for defending us here. Please stop labeling ARES bandwagoners as we do not feel they are. If there is issue to be taken up it is with them supporting Poison Clans gross misconduct of late. This is more important than a treaty, and that is if your ally right? In the case of ARES Avalon obviously feels negative about that. However labeling of bandwagoner on ARES could just as easily be applied to Avalon in countless cases both past and future. Hail TPF! Hail ARES! Hail Avalon!
  23. Yes, Avalon has a question. When did we give the impression that we cared?
  24. Apparently the new IN thing on planet Bob is this whole "Beat Avalon by sickening their soldiers with the stench of all the dead enemies they killed" strategy. Then again our scouts have reported no sign of the most recent TFO enemy. Apparently we have to go out and find them. Oh well, welcome to the party ARES. Please mind the "no parking" signs, the meter maids in Avalon enforce them with nukes.
  25. Awesome news, glad I lived to see this day. Congratulations to all!
