  1. Surviving a month and a birthday all on the same day? Congrats Josshill. You've earned the celebration.
  2. Both of which are very heavily tied into groups like TOOL. It would be pretty foolish to assert that if TOOL or someone else on white (probably short of STA) were hit that most of white, including those alliances, would support their comrades on the team. One doesn't have to be tied into absolutely everyone else on a team to become essentially an extended part of the unity/MDP ties of that team. Hell, I quite like Argent (TGE, not so much, but we can't win them all). I'm sad to see that my allies in FOK consider posting trying to stir things up without first trying to either clear things in public channels or asking for clarification when some appears to be needed.
  3. I think it's more along the lines of they see nukes as something best reserved as a deterring factor. The use of nukes on first-strike basis generally does nothing more than escalate conflicts prematurely, lengthen their duration, and make more harsh the terms after the fact. Unless you believe that you are guaranteed to burn anyways, guaranteeing the first-strike nuke policy generally isn't going to do you as much good as you might think when everything pans out. The fact that a lot of MK seems to be okay with or likes backing off of guaranteeing first strikes suggests that they are starting to come in line with that same way of thinking, and don't foresee their existence threatened any time in the foreseeable future.
  4. And now another of our allies can bulk up on nukes... om nom nom.
  5. They're up to 6 by my count. 4 of which are not public knowledge.
  6. Hardly. A more accurate conclusion would be more or less it became unnecessary. With some of the recent individual treaty upgrades, the relevant parts of White are in a de-facto bloc anyways.
  7. Your usefulness to discussions? And back on topic, congrats to two fantastic alliances.
  8. All I can say is... Vox has another mouth and not another brain to support it. protip: FEAR would have backed TPF anyways with the old MDoAP. How do I know this? Well, let's just say that I happen to know both groups very well.
  9. Pretty much. Anyone who has really taken the time to get to know bigwoody and his policies knows that he is an extremely lenient person, particularly when it comes to handing out sentences. There are folks who have done wrong against him and TORN in the past who have managed to retain much more than what they would have been able to if it had been wrongs against most other alliances or leaders. Things that likely would have yielded true PZI and maybe even EZI sentences in some minds, but woody has been far less severe.
  10. Yeah, pretty much. Their attempt to spy on TORN ended when their spy failed recruit training.
  11. It's no great secret that Gramlins are quite proficient in organizing/ordering pixels. As a general principle, though, they tend to blow up pixels far less frequently than do most alliances of that size.
  12. /me looks at alden peterson's alliance affiliation. He then looks at his books of lists and sees which one that group is on. He closes the book and walks away, unsurprised.
  13. In this particular instance I find Chickenzilla very astute.
  14. If that comparison is indeed accurate, then I see no reason to worry about them. Most of their nations probably have lead as a resource.
  15. In some respects, that doesn't always yield results like you'd expect. After all, as GOD so recently showed, PZI can sneak up on a person like that.
  16. Maybe he just didn't like CoMA? He wouldn't be alone in that.
  17. /me techraids Turetel's comment space.

  18. I think this solidifies it. Aeternalis is working on dethroning Misr from the poll throne. That said, it will be a while, more than likely.
  19. And this is one of many reasons I Heft and IRON.
  20. I lol'd. [OOC]Congrats. You are the 17th person to incorrectly guess my avatar. I suppose now I should go find a stale cookie for you.[/OOC]
  21. I'll be honest. I'm a bit surprised to see you backing GOD ardently the last few days, because they have a tendency to be involved in stomping alliances far too similar to you.
