The Dixie Confederacy recognizes the Democratic Republic of Gallifrey and congratulates them for rising out of the remains of the old Holy American Empire.

The Dixie Confederacy hereby recognizes this new nation and thus wishes them luck in the international community.

[b]Public[/b] Following in the footsteps of the Gulf Federation, the Confederate government has issued a travel ban on Europe and Asia so that Confederate citizens would not get in the crossfire of the ongoing war going on in the other side of the world. [b]Classified[/b] With the huge conflict going on in Europe and Asia, the DEFCON level has been raised to 3 and all military units have been put on high alert. Patrol ships have been ordered to constantly patrol Confederate territorial waters while aircraft have done the same. These patrols are to continue 24/7 until the crisis has passed for fear one or more of the participants may somehow trespass into Confederate waters. The military has begun constant drilling and training to prepare their forces for any situation. The President and his cabinet have been moved up to a secret bunker hidden in the hills of eastern Kentucky where they are safe should anything happen. General Wilcox was reported to have called the ongoing war in Asia and Europe, "a major !@#$fest".

Earlier today, it was announced that the Air Force had purchased its first fighter aircraft, two P-40 Warhawks. The Chief of the Air Force, Peter Summers, stated that now they had the capable of launching offensive operations from the air. Of course, the P-40s themselves would undoubtedly be easily outclassed by the modern fighters employed by many militaries around the world. Unfortunately they, like most of the Military's equipment, were all they had available right now. General Wilcox was heard saying after the announcement, "I pray to God we don't get thrown into a war before we're able to at least acquire 60s jet fighters." The Confederacy is happy to see yet another nation take shape in the abyss of South America in the wake of the tragic collapse of the Holy American Empire. We thus welcome the Grand Principality of Vicidalia.

With Pravus Ingruo ensuring the protection of the lands of the former Cajun Federation, all units originally deployed to the state of Mississpi had pulled out and have returned to all Military bases from which they had originated from.

The Dixie Confederacy is saddened to see the Pacific Federation collapse into oblivion, but also wishes Avalon all the best in its future.

With the Pravus Ingruoan confirmation, the Dixie Confederacy hereby extends recognition toward the Democratic Republic of Ontario and congratulates them for successfully achieving independence.

[b]**Classified**[/b] The 5000 troops and the accompanying armor, aircraft, trucks, engineering, and logistical vehicles were ordered to cease what they were doing and move east to home territory. This caused general annoyance among a number of soldiers, who didn't expect to first be suddenly sent into Mississippi and then be sent back home. However, they simply complied with their orders and soon found themselves moving back east toward Confederate territory.
