1.
are you saying pacificans never messed staggers up???? leave me alone
Purposely? No, not normally.
2.
wow I had no idea you were so desperate for material~
Oh, hey man. What's up? Messed up any staggers lately?
3. Hang in there Polaris. I'm sure you will do well.
4. The Minmatar Republic is deeply concerned regarding the release of recent missiles yet again. We strongly urge all parties to refrain from using these incredibly damaging and destructive weapons in the future.
5.
Alternatively, you could take note of the fact that we are active and prolific posters anyway.
So let me get this straight: I am to believe that nearly all of the posts on the front page, save for a few, are due to your regular activity levels on the CN forums? I wasn't aware that MK paid every thread the same attention. If you could point me to a thread anywhere with the same presence as this one, and the majority of posts from your alliance taking place in the first five minutes, that would go a long way towards convincing, well, anyone really.
6. Here's an idea: how about not having a huge chunk of your members post within minutes of your rogue "leaving" MK, and then acting like it wasn't coordinated. That would be like, the best thing ever.
7.
It matters not, alliances should be held responsible for what members they allow in the alliance.
Given the fiasco with TKoI recently, I find this to be incredibly subjective to those who are responsible and those affected.
8. Why is it that I get the impression that the results were skewed? It's not that hard to register an account, post and then vote...
9.
I love TGE, I just think Mark Thomas made a woopsie here.
I think it's quite clear that you like TGE at this point. That isn't in doubt. Also, didn't you say Mark Thomas wasn't the chancellor a couple of posts up?
10. Is he supposed to be glowing like that? Nice hit on him, FISHGUTS. Gratz!
11. Interesting to say the least... hope this relationship works for you both.

13. 1/11/20xx All minmatar forces are ordered to stand down from Alert 1, to alert 2 status.
14.
That won't be necessary. All is well on the Peninsula now that the backfired PR stunt has obviously failed, life is once again peaceful and prosperous despite the momentary drama.
Based on what I've read in the last couple of days, it would seem as though the "pr stunt" has been a resounding success. Though I dispute the wording of what you call this thread, I think it's important that you understand that your alliance is going to be viewed with a great deal of skepticism and hostility in the future from many people. Not because of what Nordreich or TGE did, but because of what either yourself or some of your members did. That being said, I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt, but seeing as I know next to nothing about you, this incident gives a poor taste in my mouth, and sullies what image you have. Still...I wish you luck in the future, and I hope that you will have greater foresight in choosing your members.
15. 1/9/20xx All minmatar forces remain on high alert this week. All standing orders are still in full effect.
16. Minmatar Airlines to expand to new route in Siberia; plans long term investment Marsucury International, Siberia - A senior spokesman with Minmatar Airlines said on a condition of anonymity today that his company intends to invest oiver 300 million rubles worth of capital in a new route in Siberia's central airport. "A three month period will ensue, where men and aircraft are routed to Siberia and work will begin," he said. The process is slated to take years to complete fully, and plans for a dedicated runway funded and built by the company are in the works.
17. The Minmatar Republic firmly supports our friends in the West, and will stand with Dalmatia in their time of need.
18. 1/8/20xx The 1st Strategic Fires Battery is placed on Alert 1 status and directed to deploy in Abudban, in the east. Passive and Active radar vehicles are oriented towards possible flight paths from Korea in the south and east. The 1st Tactical Fires battery is deployed in the cities of Pator and Matar, again orienting their radar vehicles to possible flightpaths from Korea. Standing orders are given to field Commanders and Sub-Commanders to shoot any aircraft not identifying themselves, or identifying as Korean.
19. Formal Statement by the Republic Parliament and the Office of Prime Minister The Minmatar Republic has been a quiet and unassuming nation in the past year of our existence. Throughout this ti9me, we have concerned ourselves mainly with feeding and providing for our citizens. We have recently undertaken several programs of outreach, diplomacy and land exchanges to better grasp the intricacies of inter-regional politics. We recognize the grievance between Korea's people, and that of the Dalmatian government. It is no secret that your show of force was designed primarily to display your resolve. Regrettably, all that it will accomplish is the hardened resolution of Korea's enemies to unite and rebuff any further attempts at aggression against Dalmatia. Standing with our neighbors has generally been a time honored tradition amongst our people. In our homeland, we have a saying. Blood and sand. Though our neighbors to the west likely know little of us, we still honor our traditions, and invite Dalmatia to permit us to stand with them in the defense of your homes, and our joint friendship in central Asia. Any aircraft that identify themselves as coming from Korean airspace will be shot down by Republic missile forces and aircraft interceptors. Any attempt to subvert this no-fly zone, will result in an immediate recognition of hostilities between the Minmatar Republic, and the aggressive parties. Today, the Minmatar people mark their entrance onto the world stage, and stand on principle to defend at neighbor, and a way of life. Blood and sand. Together, we will stand. OOC: I just saw the closed bit at the top of the OP's post. Ignore if you don't want to consider it canon. Apologies.
20. Election underway in the Minmatar Republic MATAR - Election booths opened today across the Republic as citizens began to vote for their new parliament and prime minister. With all the tribal parties rallying behind Sanmatar Shakor's second bid for premiership, the outcome seems foretold. This has not dimmed the resolve of the populace to go out and vote, with vast numbers already queueing up at public voting booths to show their support. No opponents have stepped forward to run against Shakor, making this the first uncontested election in the history of Minmatar politics. Public support for the lone candidate is high, although dissenting voices have been heard from several democracy activist groups, who have been vocal in their opposition to the arrangement. "It's ridiculous," said Sastia Langon, spokesperson for the Minmatar Democracy League. "It's a subversion of all that we've been laboring to build in this great nation. It's a step backwards for everyone. Who's to say there aren't opponents willing to step up? Who's to say they haven't been intimidated into not running?" Langon's comments, as with all other public commentary on the issue, have gone entirely unheeded by the extant power structures within the Republic as they gear up for what appears to be not only a regime change but, in the words of one analyst, "a complete restructuring of the government, from the ground up." Signs and banners are visible everywhere, carrying slogans of support for Shakor. Rallies and spontaneous celebrations have been commonplace in all of the Republic's largest cities ever since liberated Minmatar began to pour into the streets. "There's a mixture of jubilance and hope now," said assembly technician Arnatt Kimkar, who yesterday was reunited with his twenty-two year old son Markus after eleven years apart. "For the first time, it feels like something could happen. You know, something real."

22.
They have no obligation to share that information. It is completely different matter if it is morally right to do so and that is subjective. In any case if there was an alliance I considered to be an "opponent" I might withhold information from them because why in heck would I help them out?
Claiming that the information is morally subjective is ambiguous at best, and we both know that is the flimsiest of reasons to defend what occurred. Secondly, like I said, it is nice to know what you'd do given the same instance. Though I will admit I personally find it highly amusing how politics works. If the roles were reversed, I would wager you would be singing a different tune.
23.
We've existed for awhile. But never announced it. So yes.
Fair enough. It wasn't a slight on your alliance, as I know little of you guys. Hope things work out for you.
