  1. CN forum moderation isn't the same as wiki moderation. I am not opposed to being a rep, but I really don't edit the wiki all that much, only when I notice something off the rails or someone asks me to edit something. That said, I'm not sure what level of engagement you're looking for.
  2. I second Smitty's name choices, as they are all pretty solid contenders.
  3. Seconded. It's a good suggestion and makes a ton of sense. I definitely think it's the thing most people will remember as most unique about this war compared to other globals. Burning through 27 nukes in one go.... Oof.
  4. Congratulations for peace for all involved. LWW takes the cake as the best fighter I dealt with. And a shoutout to Armpit, a close second who I seem to have fought like 3-5 times!
  5. A false narrative that has been dispelled in the back channels before, but let's go for public too. FTW was banished from RFI on January 5th, 2021. Deathbiter came up with the idea to allow FTW to remain in the bloc in the event that Canik explained himself and apologized for violating the bloc treaty and betraying the bloc's interests, or if he had stepped down. This is our vote on it, and as of Jan 5th, 2021, FTW was no longer in RFI. Canik 'left the bloc' during said talk on January 21st and for all intents and purposes, it was no longer a necessary distinction to make.
  6. I'd suggest throwing up a poll with some of the popular names from the OOC name the war thread, but also any that people come up with here that are good. Even if it is against all of our democratic spirits. I think since the war itself was Bipolar, that I like the Bipolar War II suggestion.
  7. Also not the case. Try try again. Who is this show you're putting on for?
  8. What is laughable about white peace? Actually, wrong.
  9. You attacked CLAWS' protectorate. You should not be surprised that you get nuked in response. Most alliances can get their nations access to nukes within 6 months of them starting the game. Wolf Man's nation is older than that by a lot and the current global war means a lot of nations are at a lower nation strength than normal.
  10. Is it possible that he just had no troops at home? @BigKif
  11. I'd suggest hurling more than insults at chiles if you are so against another CLAWS member breaking the echochamber, but it's doubtful anyone in your entire coalition can be mobilized who is in range.
  12. Really not interested in your fetish. I think I've told you that a few times, but now publicly I will too, since you desperately wanted my attention again.
  13. Is the teach measure sampled each time, or was the original base tech used? Does this value adjust based on time passing then?
  14. Responding to a few paragraphs I write that praise NATO & FTW's combat ability by pointing out how the NG argument seems to be that we (and by extension you) suck terribly and then disagreeing with them... then copying MasterChief's !@#$posting from another thread is a self-own. I might even suggest that you respond to my discussion as it relates to stats instead of your shallow attempts at flamebaiting. On topic, @Piejonk, perhaps this was answered elsewhere, but is the tech (Damage per Tech) stat calculated from initial tech at the beginning of the war, or is it recalculated each update? If it is the latter, how do you control for low-tier nations that rebuy tech and have somewhere between 0-500 depending on when they buy?
  15. Lighten up! It takes months to watch this anime. Our presence on the MHA front was not needed until now, I presume similar to the various FTW allies who haven't countered CLAWS. The fact that you think the New Pacific Order micromanages any of the treaty activations of CLAWS shows how little you know about NPO or CLAWS. Is that the popular line that is supposed to motivate nations to war? That NPO is some BDSM specialist? CLAWS has never pursued membership in Oculus and never will. This isn't shocking or new news to anyone involved in foreign affairs. Sometimes alliances need a reminder that they aren't forgotten for being optional, on both sides of the conflict. Most often it's those that begin with an O, strange thing that.
  16. Honestly, it's just more visually appealing than our normal war flag. My Hero Academia is a terrible anime and a worse manga. Let’s start with Bakugo, or should I say ‘Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight’, a typical Vegeta clone, except he’s also a childhood friend with a pseudo-romantic relationship to at least one of the other protagonists. If I wanted to watch some yaoi stuff, I’d go watch Yuri on Ice airing on the RFI Discord Server. Next, there’s Deku, our protagonist, a character so useless that they’re in a portal quest fantasy within their own world because they were born a talentless hack. Rather than develop a useful skill, he is handed greatness in the form of eating another man’s hair (?!) and then has to go through physical and ritual hazing to rise to the top. If I wanted to do that, I’d just play politics on Planet Bob. Third main character Todoroki is the embodiment of a tsundere in none of the ways that matter, producing another wave of degen weebs and simps who think that being quiet is cool. Neo and the Matrix all over again. Those are just the three main characters, but it has a cast bigger than One Piece’s episode list and it only gets more intolerable from there. MHA must be stopped at once. I literally am not even making this up. When I heard that MHA had attacked our allies, I was disappointed, because I haven’t even seen the last like four seasons since it spends a solid 25% of its runtime flashbacking to its first episode. 2007 boomer parallels anyone? Since then, I’ve hit the gym and resubscribed to crunchyroll, consuming all things MHA to understand my enemy. But just like in the show, the Cybernations adaptation relies very little on its top ranked fighters, kind of devaluing the whole implemented rating system. Somehow in MHA it’s always the little guys who are forced to fight the big bad villains. If I was forced to describe what it felt like to see MHA declare war against my allies. It’s hardly surprising though that another superhero anime finds its way on the enemy side. They, after all, are big fans of the prime competitor material, The Boys. Superfriends is so 2010, and GOD has been dead for a long time so this is like the remake of the remake. Dr. Doom helped make sure of that. Anyways, back to MHA, its greatest sin is *ping* that it’s bloated and drags, which means it doesn’t get to hold the excitement of short action scenes that would otherwise make or break it as an entertaining show. That might be a metaphor for this war maybe. Oh! And the spin-off series is better. I'm not even getting into diaper boy or the frog girl Pursuant to our agreements with Doom Squad & Doom Wolves, and the strange lack of Order of the Black Rose nations on the battlefield, CLAWS declares war on Mostly Harmless Alliance. Pictured here, OBR.
  17. Certainly, I am in shambles from you not understanding my post. Imagine having a 4% aid slot usage while you leave your own alliance and allies to dry as they are slowly bill-locked and thinking your opinion on leadership holds any weight.
  18. It could be that the individual nation's have been getting defeated alerted by themselves and thus it isn't recorded in outboxes, but that should be easy to check for admin staff I think. It does just seem to happen sometimes.
  19. This is like the classic narrative where we have to reject your own premises in order for your conclusion to work. What if we accept the premise that your side has better equipped nations for doing damage, is more active, etc? Then obviously NG would do more damage to the inactive and incompetent nations you're allegedly fighting. So, which is it? Are NG's opponents active and good fighters or inactive? Are FTW's nations active and good fighters or are they the same in quality as the ones NG faces? Having assigned the majority of targets for CLAWS, a large number of our offensive wars have been at tech disadvantages. We don't have the strategy of just hitting inactives from 10 different AAs to pad our stats (though I am not accusing you of that -- just there are certainly alliances represented that DO). And the majority of nations that have taken disproportionate damage are simply dead weight, which is also the case for most AAs outside of Non Grata. I am in no way ashamed to admit that our damage stats will continue to reflect poorly until we reach a tipping point where our active members who dish out damage manage to supplant large losses that happened in the conflict which are difficult to outdo, considering some of our worst nations have been consistently staggered or quit the game as a result of being leveled out. This same effect is happening in most alliances, although they often have nations in PM that are exiting the game rather than warred nations. If the least competent nations in FTW and NATO hadn't spent the entire war in peace mode, unlike our incompetent nations who were in war mode, the stats would be closer to parity. However, since we rushed to the defense of our ally rather than initiate peace mode orders half a week before the conflict as several alliances did, we suffer the consequence. I am of the mind that it was and remains better to have acted swiftly. Maybe next time I'll focus on the damage output for the AA, but honestly we needed a culling experience, as the AA never has faced one historically and keeping nations that do not participate in warfare makes for poor decision-making.
  20. The one they removed by their alliance's process? Which side had nazi iconography in their declaration of war post? Was it perchance the alliance of German Imperialists who hide behind a faux nazi aesthetic? Who got removed for that? Did you care about nazis then or only when it is politically convenient for you? Why even open a can of worms like this?
  21. Wouldn't a pixel shrugger not care about NS damage?
  22. Thanks for the tag SeaBee CLAWS is currently not accepting applications, but we would welcome you to apply to our protectorate Wayward Sons, a small team black alliance who are focused on cultivating a tight-knit community. As far as I know, they do not require discord activity and might be a good fit for you. It would really be best for you to join discord though, as that's the best way to get to know the various people in the community. Most active alliances will do their best to help you along your way, the key really for a new player is to avoid the inactive ones that will not invest in you as a member.
