1.
Oh, and I have a sense of humor, but this is just recycled "we eat babies rawrgh" type stuff.
That is and always has been NPO's bit. We might be egotistical and pompous but we aren't plagiarists. We're too good for that.
 2. All hail to our Pacifican overlords. As part of CnG I am happy to see we will be spared vengeance and will be allowed into the new hegemony.
 3. <3 the linup. Diet ODN, now with 100% less Omni!
No I love you Omni ♥
4.
You were already gov, and I'm pretty sure I congratulated you on it last time. Couldn't say "Yay Lanore is back in gov."
xD you never call, you never write, sheesh. Also damn you Tim for getting "Do something about it " before me.
 5.
Finally. Reps have arrived.
o/ War. Good luck to all those involved.
 6.
Yay, Kubla's back in gov! :
Miss you too Gibs.
 7.
Utterly horrible. Obligatory "'Sup, Lanore?"
*unf* Not much honestly. Now that I've routed out the old guard it's time to bring my real agenda to fruition.
 8.
Sexy gov line-up GATO.
You have no idea. ~.^
 9. Sad to see an ally of an ally go. Hope you find a warm bed in TLR
 10.
Um, excuse me, we didn't raid them at all. :I
I never said you did. I called GOONS a high profile raiding alliance, and said I was amazed you didn't raid them before their treaty with Kaskus. I never said this particularly was a raid. Sorry if I caused confusion, I didn't intend to.
 11. Mongols I am sorry this happened. You seem like good guys and I love my brothers on brown. At the same time I tried to tell you guys you needed to get your FA in gear before you caught the attention of a high profile raiding alliance. I'm amazed GOONS didn't raid you before you treated Kaskus. Look, when this war is over and you have paid reps/been pummeled into the dirt, find someone from somewhere with a more experienced view of FA who would be willing to help your alliance out. I'm sure there are some generous people who wouldn't mind joining a micro to help establish a good FA path. I really appreciate and respect your desire to do things your own way and go about your business on your own, but without proper political capital small mistakes can get you into big trouble.
 12. *Post redacted after consultation from my fungal overlords.*
 13.
I object strenuously to this. Umbrella is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ODN Industries.
Umbrella will show you why CnG doesn't need an upper tier.
 14.
Typing in italics is fun! ~♥
Omg your avatar is adorable.
 15.
Well, that's awkward, because that seems to be what this topic is about.
I was making a comment about Salmia's point directly, which should be on topic even as a tangent. For the main course of the topic (That being Roq and his accusations) I am content being a bystander and spectator, and as such don't intend to make very regular appearances in the discussion (hence my first post in 70 some odd pages being just a few moments ago) . I also don't think I could possibly add anything that hasn't already been said at one point or another. So I was just making a commentary about Sparta's feelings towards NPO/MK/NG, since the topic came about. Salmia: I agree with you on that. I was simply saying that Sparta in all likelihood loathes MK/NG/NPO. That is probably the reason you see few Spartans attempting to quash his convictions yet. King Louis states he interpreted Roq's words to be more of a personal confrontation than a statement of Spartan policy however. Perhaps Sparta just doesn't see what Roq says to be as threatening or serious as you make out. Perhaps from their point of view he is being reasonable and merely talking about his personal political convictions from a unofficial standpoint. Sure you'd say that is a crazy or farfetched way to view the situation considering how charged some of the statements made have been, but maybe that is really how they see it. Beats me honestly. Anyways I'm gonna go back to eating my popcorn.
 16. Salmia I'd take it as a hunch that Sparta doesn't have warm feelings for MK/NG/NPO at all. Planning a crusade and political retaliation against the latter group isn't just reasonable, but kind of expected after the last war and given Sparta's take on it. If MK/NPO/NG don't know that Sparta in all likelihood despises them at this point they are daft. This comment of course has no bearing on the intelligence or legitimacy of letting a member of their gov go unchecked making false claims and threats, if that is what really is happening here. I personally withhold my opinion of Roq and his accusations, sited evidence of them and the evidence's validity, and intentions.
 17.
I doubt you were arguing this much when TOP was forced to pay 300-400k tech or whatever their reps were I believe they were the most in CN history. Polar's 125k is light compared to what TOP had to pay, and TOP had about the third of the members Polar has. If it pains you this much why don't you join Polar and help them pay it.
You're probably right, I wasn't arguing this much because at that time I didn't exist iirc. You also seem to miss the idea that I'm not actually complaining about it. I've lived my life in CN where I think the most tech I've ever seen given through reps was like 30-40k. Perhaps I missed an instance where it was higher.
 18.
If they get less than a third of their alliance sending aid, and only using 5 slots, they can pay it off in under 4 months and still have a few weeks spare. I'm no longer an advocate of reparations, however these aren't that large over history and the allotted time is hardly requires staggering feats of organisation that haven't been already been massively surpassed by lesser alliances than Polar. They undoubtedly wont like it, just as we didn't, but I have every confidence in their ability to rise to the task without breaking a sweat.
Yeah I understand. I think it's just the sheer mass of it. For instance, if you eat a meal every day, for your entire life from birth to death, and live to be around 60, that is around 220k meals? Sure a ton of people will eat more. Sure near everyone eats at least the same around. That doesn't stop it from being a metric crapton of food. Another way of looking at it is that 125k tech is roughly a quarter of all VE's tech. It's around 41% of NPOs, about 10% of GPA/Umbrellas, or you know, roughly 70% of NpO's current tech. You can also note I'm a tad new. I came around the scene for the first time as NPO was getting out of terms for Karma iirc. So this is the first time I personally have seen reps like this. Don't mind me though, just a spectator. I get enamored with really big things. It was just the realization of how much 125k tech actually is. Sort of like when a kid learns the value of a dollar for the first time.
 19.
With 185 members, we paid 270k tech in 8 months. They have 292 members to pay 125k tech in 4 months. They'll manage.
Oh I know. I was just pointing out that most alliances don't move that kind of tech for their own alliance growth. The internal organization of this will be hell xD
 20.
Four slots every ten days, $3m incoming, 150 tech outgoing. That's 450 tech/month/nation. They could do it in one month. Extending to four allows them to just use only nations in tech seller range.
That's under the assumption that their entire alliance is that wieldy. Lets not act like they don't have at least 30 ghosts and that their turnout for cooperative members isn't going to be near 100%. I'm not making a judgement about the reps, saying they are right or wrong. I'm simply stating that it is an insane amount to organize and will be pretty incredible to see happen. Sure in terms of theoretical numbers they can move that kind of tech in a month, but if that kind of tech can be moved then why isn't every alliance doing it all the time?
 21. That said, how is NpO supposed to pump out that much tech in 4 months? It just hit me the actual kind of mass that is needing to be moved, and the only alliance that moves tech like that I know of is Umbrella. Even for an AA of Polar's size there is no way to ensure enough sellers to meet that demand. Even if they had a majority of their active membership in buying range transfer their tech directly without any form of payment it would still be an incredible feat in terms of organization and delivery to hit the needed 30k per month. This is going to be impressive to watch.
 22. Congratulations on peace. I've never been able to comprehend the amount of rage necessary to hold a grudge as long as the one this war was fought over, but I'm happy it was put to rest. Reps were expected but... wow that is a lot of tech.
 23. Personally question point #2. Sometimes you just can't teach an old dog a new trick.
 24. None of you change, ever, at all. This entire situation is why we can't have nice things; and why I love you all; and why I stick around this place.
 25.
Liabilities are liabilities.
Fun things are fun. Sad to see this happen NoR. Keep trucking.
