And the main reason for redoing the nominations would be to hopefully increase some of the choices for some categories, since a closed system really limits what people come up with when trying to remember things from a year ago.

Since an easy way to vote multiple times has already been found and posted here, I think its best this is declared a failure and abandoned. If no one else is willing, I will run a new awards scheme the good old fashioned way in a couple of days.
