The Superfriends hereby declares war against The Flying Kiwis and the evil villain nations that belong to them.
Wait a minute...did the words "evil villian nations" just get applied in reference to The Flying Kiwis??? Kiwis, We have arrived!!! We finally matter by TE standards - Party Time Hail to the Superfriends...I love you guys
2.
They also attacked The Flying Kiwis, RnR, and Pork Shrimp (plus Make You Blue, as far as SMUG's wars are concerned).
And we were beginning to think that no one cared about us any more too But now that we got invited to this party, we feel relevant again
3.
Though it is true TPC launched a few simultaneous raids against Kiwi, it can't really be said there was any ill will on either side.
*Lady Dark Knight stands wide eye-ed and confused for a moment. ohh-kay...found the drawback of being in with such a nice group. What to do...* Blessings, light and joy to TPC. Love, forgiveness and rays of hope I send in your direction. You are all in my prayers, for the rest of this round

5.
if a neutral party enters in a commercial agreement with nations at war without regard to their affiliation, does this constitute an act of war against their opponents? If so, why?
It's essentially economic sanctions or "block aid" and if the nation trying to impose it can back up their threats, all's fair...
Well, so do nukes. The GRL has detrimental effects to the economy. Does this mean a concerned alliance should attack nations that nuke? Should an alliance with low ns nations attack an alliance with high ns due to the fact that the high ns alliance increases the ns required to be above 5% and thus prevents the small ns alliance from getting nukes without getting an MP?
Oh, I wish I had the power to effectively stop people from using nukes As far as your other examples, don't give anyone any ideas
6.
If I recall, people were complaining rather loudly a little bit ago about how much is done behind closed doors by a few people that impact the game at large, and wanted more done outside of IRC's smokey back rooms.
Assuming the issue actually does "impact the game at large" - it absolutely should be discussed in public. Having said that, there is VERY little that actually does. If it's a "community standard" issue, where people are going to be screaming "not fair" or "you should have..." if someone breaks it, well - all national leaders who care should be able to express an opinion. Everything else, I don't care.
7. Hail WAPA! Great friends! Pleasure to have you fighting by our side
8. Richard VII, Lord Klusman and I were trying to decide which alliance would supply the most fun for our membership recently when someone from the Roman Empire decided to attack. "Gentlemen, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I asked. Yes, they were To quote the Roman, Julius Caesar, "Cry 'Havoc!' and let slip The Flying Kiwis of war." (well, okay, not the exact quote ) The Flying Kiwis hereby declares war on the Roman Empire. We hope it's fun for all involved. Hail Kiwis! Hail RE!
9. Points for the fact that I was actually curious enough to read it.
10. We're over 30 members and over 100,000 NS, have a protectorate and a couple other treaties and still get occasional raids from people up to about 500 infra. In these cases, it is done entirely outside of their alliances rules so after a day or two of talking to the right people - we get reps or pile on to the attacker. I'd say this happens once every 3 months or so. We push to get our new nations above 4,000 NS. That generally gets them out of the range of being attacked by other new people who don't know better. When our statistics were outside of those generally accepted by alliances as "off limits" - we'd get "tech raided" weekly and I couldn't tell any difference based on infra. There was some based on military strength and also the level of tech. Small alliances and non-aligned 1) keep your military strong 2) keep your tech low (5-15)
11. What wars has INT been in since you started as INT and on which side? In terms of merging 1) what made you decide to do it and what has been good about it? 2) any second thoughts or regrets now that you have?
12. Ordo Paradoxia as Wingmen-birds? mmmm, maybe...
13. but...but...Ordo Paradoxia nations are so cool, especially to hold in our beaks... :salute:
14. Turns out Zombies make good friends Who would have thought... The fact that Zombies don't care about their bodies (i.e. infra, etc.) should NOT be a surprise to anyone. Enjoy.
15. So, taking into account that a new nation is NOT going to have a nuclear arsenal, where are you planning on getting your new recruits? mmm, I think I'll take some of that discount popcorn now
16. I had very different expectations when I first joined. The game name says that players pretend to be rulers of nations. With the alliance system the way it currently stands - at best we're "governors" of individual states within a union (i.e. the alliance). Even in the language used on OWF to argue these points suggests that as accepted entirely. All the talk is about the rights of alliances and not individual nations. The few times you hear about individual nations "rights" on OWF, it's how they have the "right" to "tech raid" (nice way to pretend that it's something other than war - who came up with that idea? Smart politician!) The game should be renamed Cyber Alliances.
17. If you have treaty with at least one large alliance that can come to you aid that is public somewhere, then you can say something. If you don't, nope. The sad thing is, you and I by having this conversation are only half joking... (My alliance has under 40 members, btw)
18. Thanks As a small alliance, we're not going to do much in terms of bringing down the overall rank of such a large alliance. However, individual members are another story... (OCC: Perhaps I'm old fashioned, but assuming that it is true that TE is a "king of the hill" type war game - which people argue, then I figure all nations on the top 10 list are high priority targets. My personal goal was to take one off the list and 5 is a nice middle number )
