Well, that's a rather nice 1 month birthday present to wake up to. + 2 while in anarchy. I'd like to apologize to my attackers. I'm afraid I'm not going to be much of a challenge. If your alliance waited a day, probably could do better. But all your going to get out of me this time is a bunch of annoyed soldiers clashing against an army 2X their size. In other words, *I* get the statistics. Oh well, make sure your leaders plan better next time.

I'm aware of several instances where the opposite is true as well. I've helped a half dozen or so non-aligned (who later joined the group I was in), and the best report was not favorable.

Does your alliance? Does NSO have a list of people who are able to be attacked at any time by any member if the member so chooses - regardless of what the term is called.

It just requires a little humility and work on your part." What it requires in the tech raid situation is the ability to kiss GOON butt. That's not the same thing as humility. You know, people who knew GOONS from previous days tell me this current version in no way equal in nastyness to the past. I use to think that was a bad argument. I've changed my view, partly from this spin attempt. GOONS don't have the ability to live up to your past because the cyberworld has changed, and you're afraid that if you didn't put a spin on your policies and try to convince people that they are "reasonable" - enough people would be outraged (as opposed to a few here and there) to be a real threat.

All giving in to the GOONS baiting does is provide them (and apparently their allies)an opportunity to get more of what they want - relatively easy wars based on numbers. I'm not saying The Ninjas are in any way unskilled warriors. However, IF even the past two groups who have declared on the GOONS had joined in one alliance - by GOONS standards - there would be no argument about the AA being an alliance. You would be granting them war and a win, so I'm not advocating this actually be done, but at least we wouldn't have to listen to alliance vs. not an alliance arguments.

[/quote] Wasn't there a large alliance that got attacked withing the past few months by multiple other alliances who (like many other alliances probably would have done) could have had friends/allies declare on their behalf, had offers from allies to join and said *gasp* "no, stay out"? THAT was bravery! Compare that to this situation. GOONS have as much "right" to call it what they will as they have the "right" to say anything else, but I'm about as convinced that GOONS are not cowards as I am that an "alliance" must have 15 members or more to be an alliance. In other words, not at all!

Declare peace. No reps. Issue solved. Yeah, you don't have to take my advice, but if you care enough about your alliance reputation to actually announce all this, it's what should happen.

To all United under Scorn members, Please do accept one of the invites that we all have been receiving to join one of our allies (or look for some other alliance) sometime between now and the end of July. I highly advise against going off on your own because SOMEONE will attack you (probably three on one) because that's just how Planet Bob is at the moment. Everyone else, I plan on sticking around until everyone in US is somewhere else. I already have plans once that's done. This has already been stated but I'm saying so again. We have a Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Pact with The Sandwich Confederation. That's still in affect and does NOT have an expiration date on it. SC has a military treaty with Basketball Ninjas. BN has treaties with other alliances. Both our co-founders have moved to BN. I assume you all get the picture

Thank you INT, CRAP and BN. We all appreciate your help. In truth, this is sudden to the membership as well. I plan to stick around until everyone else in United under Scorn is safely somewhere else. Good to know that we have support.
