1.
I will wear an RnR sig for a month if they came in and helped IRON with Gramlins. It would be just glorious.
Almost makes it worth it wouldn't it
If VE were to 'do something' about it, it would not be without first discussing it with many different alliances. Silentkiller, I agree with the point you made, I worded improperly. What I meant to say, is that there is nothing ridiculously urgent about this. This isn't a Ramlins alliance that blitzed the crap out of IRON and has done a ton of damage, there is time to work this out and ensure that two precedents are maintained: that the concept of unconditional surrender and keeping alliances in war after peacing out with an entire coalition is not something the world will support or tolerate, and that terms signed by surrendering alliances, especially light, simple, and easy to follow ones like no re-entry will continue to be followed. I will borrow a page from the coincidence coalition and say that diplomacy should take the day here. If diplomacy can not work, then perhaps more extreme measures can be looked in to, but luckily for everyone involved, IRON is not in need of an immediate conclusion to this at whatever cost, so we have the time to work for the best possible solution.
On the speculations around R&R i can say a few words, at this moment we have yet to receive any official request for back-up by IRON, R&R has no desire to prolongue this conflict any longer then neccessary and has no desire to mix up the sides again to add a 3rd round to this conflict. However, we strongly urge Grämlins to seek a peaceful ending to this conflict immediatly. I know IRON well enough to state they will never go for the unconditional surrender Grämlins is looking for and we can not and will not stand by forever while one of our long time allies is kept into a state of (perma-)war. I also agree with goldielax's assesment here, taking hasty steps in the matter will only cause a @#!&storm that noone on either side is waiting for and could easily lead to a situation in which our intentions to help would turn out to become an even bigger war for IRON. As of now we are keeping an eye on the situation and hoping for the best, while sadly expecting the worst.
Of course they won't (CnG). That would be another $%&@-fest and you know it. But RnR wont either...I doubt Fark would be pleased with RnR attacking Ram's Ego.
Your statement makes sense in a way, but you forget the fact that R&R is a sovereign alliance with their own treaties, friends and decissions. We are by no means a puppet of Fark nor have they ever treated us as such. And altough i have very little doubt about how Fark would react to a possible intervention from R&R, in the end it's up to us to decide what we do and up to fark to decide if they back us on the matter.
 2.
It's funny, because I don't see any complaining about not being invited ITT. All the comments have been aimed at IRON, TOP, DAWN and TORN's attack on the ODN and Vanguard, and the fact it makes your statement of intent ("The goal of this treaty is to foster the advancement and prosperity of the Orange Team as a peaceful and prosperous entity") rather funny. We haven't talked to anyone from R&R about joining this treaty within the last few months, so I struggle to see how we are 'driving you insane' with our supposed crying. The ODN doesn't particularly want to be a part of a trades treaty either - as you can see from our OUT exit, which Mr DVD pointed out, we don't really see much of a future in them. The ODN is indifferent towards the treaty, we just find the situation in which the treaty was signed and it's mission statement amusing.
My post was directed at the statement "That's why the other side of the web isn't included", no the other side isn't included because they didn't want in. I may have overreacted a bit i'll give you that, but it's certainly not been months ago that someone from ODN talked about how you weren't included (it may have been unofficial but it was still done).
 3.
Good luck on this. Kinda surprised RnR is in this, since Fok is missing from it. All of LEO was included in OUT, yet it is not so with this treaty. Whether that truly means anything or not, I'm not sure, but I find it interesting.
Well it kinda grew from something DAWN IRON and R&R where already working on for a while so thats why we are in it. The rest of LEO like the rest of orange not in isn't in because they are either not sure yet, thought the timing was bad with the war and all or didn't want in. My guess is that after the war ends it won't take too long for others to join in. It's worth it though, unlike OUT CTI does deliver when it comes to trades.
 4.
If you read her post properly you would see that she was commenting on the fact that the treaty called for a peaceful sphere. Ranting doesn't suit you.
Neither does the complaining about it by you guys suit you. And trust me I've heard a whole lot of it I have never had any real problems with ODN and in general felt okay about ODN. But in regards to CTI ODN has acted like babies. You want to be part of it? No problem after the war we talk shouldn't be too hard. You don't want to fine too. But please you are driving me insane with your talk about our side isn't invited seeing as i'm 100% sure you are.
 5.
Which is why the "other" side of the treaty web isn't part of it, right?
Seriously, quit your damn !@#$%*ing. ODN was asked from the start while it was just IRON R&R and Dawn. And your alliances constant "boohoo our alliance isn't invited" is pathetic to say the least. You tried to boycot this project on every single turn. Well it's here, it stays here, so stuff it
 6.
Comment about keeping your sphere stable by not attacking half of it goes here.
Peace is overrated
Your bitter because of that?
I doubt it. 0/ CTI 0/ Orange 0/ IRON 0/ R&R 0/ Our first succesfull cooperation with DAWN 0/ insert something random here
 7.
IRON will cease to exist before it accepts unconditional surrender you have my word on that.
Honestly, every alliance that even considers this proposal, shows a severe lack of spine. Demanding unconditional surrender in is just idiotic. No self respecting alliance would ever accept it.
 8.
Edit: If you want to claim you are not part of the same war, IRON's MDP partners at the time of your attack – which include R&R I believe – should hit you in their defence.
I think some words should be very carefully picked around here starting at this post.
 9.
Don't make fun of me!!!!!! or Revolution......
Trust me, no one but you is making fun of you and revolution. I don't think anyone thinks you need help with that
 10.
Guys we are well aware of previous alliances called same as ours now. But we cant compare this with others because it has different goverment and different members . and TPE dont worry we won't touch your acronym .
Only your members Anyway, congrats Mido on the much wanted promotion and good luck
 11.
Timehhh, you probably should have looked harder. It has always been there. I estimate that if you were looking at Echelon's treaties to "anticipate possible counters" you probably didn't spend a lot of time looking over our protectorates. And even if you did, SBA and UD are pretty small. I'd actually be impressed if you did remember them. Protectorates do not typically contribute significantly in major wars, so why would you have invested much? Instead, you probably focused more of your attention on IRON, NADC, RDD, etc.

This might certainly be true, I might have overlooked it, but I have a good memory though. Still doesn't change the fact that the their wiki said they disbanded. Also the treatylist on your own forums is out of date so it isn't really a credible source. For example the treaties with GGA and House of Lords are cancelled, but are still on the list. It could very well be possible that SBA was already disbanded but still needed to be removed from the list from PC's point of view.
You didn't overlook it, like you i also have a pretty good memory and during my time as a diplomat to AiD I looked into their treaties to see if a treaty suggestion would be an option. AiD was at that time part of the commonwealth of echelon a.k.a an echelon protectorate, SBA, was not, they where listed at disbanded. But apart from that.. this whole joint raiding is stupid. It's just starting a war without CB because there is noone to retaliate..
 12. NO! Close it back up before I get forced to go visit you all again
 13. Thats one sexy gov but who do we blame for putting Tromp back in charge?
 14.
I have been dreading having to make this post, but knew it was coming. Our alliances surrendered, we held on till all our comrades could come out together, but we surrendered, I will say it again, we surrendered. Most of us knew before the first launch what would happen, and I salute the resolve of my brothers in arms, but we did lose. If iFOK and co wish to say Victory, they have every right, they did, the history books will show this, and that is that. Olympus has left all its issues on the battlefield, we honoured ourselves, like my allies in this conflict have done, do you really want to lose what we have done, just because the illustrious Mr DeRuyter wishes to use the word Victory, if that is the case you sadden me on one of my proudest of days.
o/ pansy, classy as i've gotten to know olympus and BAPS this war. In my opinion there is no shame in admitting you surrendered. You held out a long time and put up a good fight against overwelming odds. Any other alliance would have had to surrender in this situation sooner or later. As for the victory.. yeah I see this as a victory for our side, but you told me you where staying in until your allies got out, you succeeded in this so for you too this is a victory I think (point of views FTW ). Also I wanna thank Olympus and BAPS for the good fight. You guys where great and showed me that not all purple is alike. most of the purple alliances that pilled us in the first part of the war should learn from your conduct in war!
Hmmm I like our position better as at least WE have a chance for a win in the future, whereas your chances for change seem very limited.
Í lol'ed
They were tough because they down-declared. Its easy to beat up on someone with a lower NS than you have, in fact its just cowardly, and thats all I will ever think of BAPS. PS The movie sucked.
Well I'm glad your military people have more warknowledge then you otherwise we would probably have been the ones to surrender now
 15. Was about time 0/ Baps 0/ Olympus Good warring and thanks for showing me a different view of Purplol , Goodluck rebuilding!
 16.
As a housekeeping note, the nation of Wales Tide tried to scam our opponents by switching to Stickmen POW in order to escape into peace mode. This is not how we operate and said nation has been asked to leave SNAFU. Hopefully, he can work out his issues and be given a second chance.
Good show! Congrats on peace and goodluck with rebuilding.
 17.
Yeah, honestly I've never been a fan of using that argument. That's not what bothers me in this case. I just want to know whether or not we were truly the only ones to disagree with the suspension. All I've heard so far from my allies is that this wasn't the case, and until that gets cleared up, (or leaders from the respective alliances make an official statement) this thread is just going to continue spiraling back and forth between who is right and who is wrong.
Well sorry for the delay Mix No official statement from us so see this as it, R&R did agree to a suspension of reps until we leave the current conflict. 100% certain since I gave the approval for it myself. So one down 13 to go
 18.
Took them long enough to aid their allies.
Or perhaps their allies asked them to stay out to see how the cards are dealt first... Really, never heard of having reserves? It's called strategy.. If people can't grasp that... well It's obvious which side is losing this war o/ LOUD Next time I hope we will fight side by side again
 19. HEY! Dammit, since when is piling on R&R gone out of style? Ow well, welcome Hydra, nice to see you again and now INT may finish what we should have done last week.
 20.
No Purple alliance declared on R&R and R&R arent fighting alone. They are part of a curbstomp, just like the DoW they arranged said they were. No one(Purple) declared on R&R
You have a serious memory problem and a problem reading if you still believe no purple declared on R&R a bit over a week ago
What 'they' did wasnt anywhere close to what you and your allies did in order to attack them. Maybe you should go back and re-read the OP of this thread to compare all the squiggle lines and chains to the one you mention as being the 'same thing', I know it was many many pages ago and your memory could be getting fuzzy.
No they only chained 2/3 treaties deep, we refined their work to an art Curbstomp, not a curbstomp... what does it matter, this is a simple war: We declare, we fight and we win. How people want to call it is of no importance.
 21. The Siths around here can get under my skin from time to time.. but during this brief war I found a respect for them. Their attitude in this war was commendable and would be a great example for certain others we're fighting. O/ NSO and may we cross lightsabers again under more equal circumstances next time. PS. Ivan, Fast Eddy say hi, you made one of our nubs very proud of himself
 22. Judging by the war so far all alliances that "only require their members to maintain $700,000 war chests" are on your side, so i'm guessing thats a no on the advice
 23. Damn commie whiskey, can't believe i've been passed out for the last 48 hours Congrats guys and on a lot more years! 0/ The International!
