I don't know you well or what you have done. I agree, you should probably be given a chance to correct your past mistakes. But you need to do it with the actions you take from the moment you submitted this topic. I also agree that your alliance friends shouldn't be scorned for the things you did, but to deal with your alliance or not is the right of any other alliance. It's all going to depend on what type of response you get to this new start that you hope to have. I admire the fact that you didn't re-roll, it's the easy way out. It is good that you want to shed your old image and shape a new one. Like I said, I don't know you well so I have nothing to forgive or forget about you. It's up to the those you've had contacts with to judge this. I hope they are willing to at least see how you do move forward from this day on. Good Luck

Not that they aren't legitimate, I've been in a medium sized alliance and the reason was that it could provoke a larger war...meaning it's easier to prey on small alliances that haven't DoE'd or have Protectorate Agreements. If RV, was protected by a large alliance....well, you probably wouldn't consider his AA legit based on your statements, but no one would attack him besides noobs and rogues. A large alliance protecting RV would get an instant no from the raid requester's alliance government.

Don't know about going to war over that, wouldn't a ban from channels be enough if you don't want to have stuff like that said in your channels about you and your friends? Don't agree with tech raids either but it's your alliance and your free to do as you wish.

What exactly did RV say to provoke this attack? He claims that's the reason for the attack. Not reason enough to violate a sovereign nation, although RV did violate the RLMMO AA by making claim to it, but that's beside the point... You guys claim it's just a tech raid. Raids are barely profitable, a noob would peace out and you'd have your little profit. RV will fight so in this case you will lose more than what you hoped to gain.

PIATs are often signed and forgotten about and the statements in them are probably rarely followed through with action. USCN is putting together an Inter-Alliance Economic Pact-Nation Development Program (IAEP-NDP) that will require follow through and communication by the signatory alliances which should hopefully result in creating strong friendships among the signatories. People should take such quick offense to posts about a rush of alliances. Concentrate on your growth and you won't be a micro alliance and eventually be visible with the naked eye
