2.
How does GOONS feel for the current situation? hippopotamus -omfg
War, hunh, yeah, what is it good for? Absolutely everything, of course.
3. I'm sorry, I couldn't hear your war declaration above all the yiffing.
4. Good to see you enter the fight, give their upper ranks a good smashing!
5.
Really? Apologies then, I missed that. I don't see it in the wiki or the OWF, what day was that?
Check Jan. 28th on the wiki.
6. I am able to see this war declaration thread. True ninjas would stealthily attack
7. This seems like the only option left, honestly. Putting aside the rhetorical smokescreen and morality plays, NpO alienated half of Planet Bob by starting the conflict, then the other half by exiting it. This is really the only way to keep favor with at least some of the alliances involved, and Grub gets to attack someone he doesn't like while he's at it. It would look bad if he joined the larger side, and NpO would be in a far worse position lacking allies than lacking NS. o/ strategically sound realpolitik
8.
What an unsatisfying appetizer.
Hey now, a lot of our lower-NS guys missed out on some of the TFD blitz action. This isn't for us, this is for the hopes and dreams of our bright-eyed newbies. Plus Vilien gets anarchied. Win-win!
9. To be fair no plan survives an encounter with the enemy. Of course, the degree to which it is injured can vary. Their plan got a concussion, our plan got a hangnail. But it was a painful one (not really)
10. I don't even know anymore. Does this pretty much shave down the conflict to IRON/TOP/TORN vs. CnG?
11. Fair enough. I never overestimate the intelligence of the average OWF poster.
12. Do some people not get that the tortured prose is an attempt to make fun of Grub for his long and winding proclamations?
13. The Finally-Relieving-the-Blueballs-from-that-****ing-TPF-War War.
14. My first nation was created around September 2007. I was a member of the GOONS in LunarWars (moongoons) and hearing that their roots traced back to here, I tried joining old GOONS here, but for some reason I couldn't access the forums, and then I was inexplicably attacked as soon as it was possible. I got tired of the game and went back to the moon. Learned a year later that I'd joined in the middle of the Unjust War Joined again with the formation of the new GOONS (immigrants from the moon + refugees of Neutral Shoving) in April 2009.
15. I will devote considerable time and energy to naming this unique conflict by the honourable GOONS against the dastardly GOONS. Alterbation? Attacking off? Explonanism?
16. I'd guess less stress, since the rest of Planet Bob generally tries to hide it
17. is indeed a fad. All hail ! It has utility. All the best emoticons at least have some situations in which they can be used. But yes, this is signed. People want to show they're idiots, they can do it the long way.
18. If you have to remove your nukes too does that make it a green peace?
19. Haven't seen many big wars so far, but yeah, this looks pretty lame so far.
20. Dammit, Sir William, you put three times as much love into your signature : \
21. I'm fairly certain GBS had a thread about how to make a meatshield
22. I'll be a rebel and use an old haiku form which is called "tanka" it adds two sevens to the five-seven-five rhyming scheme New GOONS still lives for Drinking sweet, sweet pubbie tears But we drink slowly Seems most "no true GOONS" posters Are scorched-earth quasi-channers Well, you are in luck Biggles is part of new GOONS Which I.F. member did you lead, Diomedes? BC, GOONS, Genesis, Void?
