  1. What browser are you using? Most likely it's some weird behavioral problem between your browser and the war screen?
  2. In *general* it's fine (and a good idea because of bill lock and the bill avoidance penalty) to pay bills every day (also paying bills can trigger events, which can be good or bad). There is a tiny amount of interest on back bills. Collections, on the other hand, are best done once every twenty days. This is because bills are based on what you *currently* have, as are taxes. (This is also why it's best to pay bills *before* buying infra, and collect taxes *after* buying infra.) Edit: Trade set can also have an impact on ideal bill pay frequency. Also repeat resources (I count ten -- you have a harbour so you should be able to have twelve) don't give extra bonuses -- for example having two wheat trades won't give you +16% population. (Having fish and wheat will give you +16.64% population, however).
  3. Oh wow, the sat nation magically goes away once sitting is approved. If I knew that earlier I could have avoided the annoyance of ever sitting anyone. </sarcasm> I've known the passwords of at least two users -- and I'm sure I know at least 10 more -- as I'm sure someone has 'asdfghjkl' or something like that as a password. Or '12345' or '987654321' or 'zxc741asd852qwe963' -- I just can't see how knowing someone's password is a rule violation.
  4. I can't see how just knowing someone else's password would constitute cheating? If you decided for some weird and strange reason to PM me with your password, I can't see how me reading that PM would constitute cheating. Or for that matter, how the owner of the nation logging in during a sit would constitute cheating either?
  5. I'm pretty sure they're pulling the sibling/spouse/cousin/goldfish excuse after getting caught with multis. Case in point, this one -- apparently his brother is his wife? And then there's this guy's appeal. "Brother"... And yet, in the video he uploaded to his own youtube channel... near the end, he says: "Brother". Yeah right. Basically, if you're thinking of creating a second nation and then claiming 'sister', don't. If your actual sibling wants to play, you should be fine. You might want to let a game mod know when/if she joins though.
  6. When you don't pay your bills over the short term: A small amount of interest is charged on that amount. Over the longer term, if you don't pay your bills for enough days, the bill avoidance penalty kicks in -- which reduces collections by some amount, up to 100%. (I know it does that by 90 days inactive.) Also, having multiple nations is a big no-no and is likely to get you in trouble with the mods.
  7. A slight bug with the comments system on team proposals -- when the proposal has been voted down (at least) and there were no comments on the proposal beforehand, it forwards to the 'this nation does not exist screen'. The URL for pointing at the comments was: http://www.cybernations.net/team_news_comments.asp?ID=[attachment=114:bug-1.png] [attachment=115:bug-2.png]
  8. Have you tried (temporarily or non) turning off ads in your profile? eg, uncheck \/ in your profile. If the above doesn't help: By any chance are any of you using using Chrome? If so, you may have a rogue plugin, or rather, an adware plugin. Chrome silently auto-updates plugins, and some adware authors have started taking advantage of it to sneak malware into people's browsers by buying legitimate plugins and 'updating' them to contain adware.
  9. Logins don't automatically pay bills, and many people don't pay bills for many weeks at a time. My guess? Moufassa didn't pay bills for 77 days, then didn't log in for thirty days=107 days of bills. (Barring, of course, some bug where bills kept piling up.)
  10. I think your charts hold the answer. You have 999.99-something infra. (1 infra=3 NS, 2999.99 NS is approximately 999.99667 infra.)
  11. When was the aid you sent on 2014/12/23 accepted accepted? IIRC, soldiers on hand are only checked when the aid offer is made, not when its accepted.
  12. I understand why the ability to send aid was disabled, I'm not sure why the ability to receive aid was. As for getting out of bill lock, two ways you could go about it are: Wait until the... 19th? and get aid from alliance mates -- or decom infra, your current 1427 infra probably costs around 252k/day to maintain currently. At 927 infra, your daily infra bill would drop to about 96k/day. Basically (in order of preference) shed things that are more easily replaced first -- troops and infra are easily replaced. I'm not sure how much cash on hand you have to work with, but as your infra goes down, so does your backlog of bills. How many days of bills are you talking about anyway?
  13. According to the information index, 'last collection' gets reset to the day you come out of inactivity mode. Your bills should *not* reflect the time you were in inactive mode though -- it should just be the 30? days until you entered it, plus any bills you already had on hand at that time.
  14. Munitions factories apply the damage bonus to base damage -- thus, ((150*1.15)+((150*1.15)*(0.0001*3671)))=235.824 infrastructure. It does seem that your bunkers might not be working, though.
  15. So wait... was that IRON or NG you're declaring on?
  16. Its been a while but IIRC... You get 2 base spy ops that can be done per day, +1 per war you're in, those extra spy ops can only be used on nations you're at war with. From that screenshot, it looks like you hit your limit, because you only have two wars.
  17. Attacking casualties are not "casualties inflicted" -- they're the number of soldiers lost in offensive ground attacks. While defending casualties are the number lost in defensive ground attacks, and to nukes. Edit:
  18. When did you last pay your bills? (If you don't pay your bills for a certain number of days, you can't buy things.) And have you tried using a different browser?
  19. An alliance is within their rights to require certain things to remain on the AA -- it doesn't matter if they have their AA 'open', 'approval' or 'closed' -- until very recently *all* AAs were 'open', and just because an AA sets their mode to 'open' doesn't mean they forfeit their right to decide who can remain on their AA. Most alliances require registering on their forum and going through an application process. I assume IRON is not an exception.
  20. I don't see any other war than yours on the nation you attacked. Some people get outraged by raiding -- but very very few get up in arms over raids on nations on 'None'. And most that do get uppity about raids aren't in a position to stop them, for the very simple reason that they would likely end up flattened when they tried declaring on a raiding alliance, unless the raiding alliance messed up badly enough. And that's not common, especially the larger the raiding alliance. The 'crossed swords' means that a nation is both in your declaration range and in war mode. Since war mode has certain advantages over peace mode, most nations stay in war mode. This... at least on the swords, I didn't check the casualties. I was considering up to where I am. any way one looks at it, it's pretty much a joke to think that a donation would be sufficient inducement to convince most to attack.
  21. For a 14k infra nation, that's less than a day's worth of bills. And for just about any nation, that wouldn't cover (most) rebuilding costs. IRON's AA is their sovereign territory -- they can choose who not to let stay. Now, I don't know why they used the old style (tradition, possibly) of a "Sign up, Go away, or be attacked" instead of simply booting you. But, again, that is their decision. At that point, you had a choice, join IRON proper, leave the AA, or stay and be attacked. You chose to leave. At this point I doubt they would have been paying any more attention to you. Except you went and decided to attack an IRON member. From a CB stand point, yours is silly, yes they threatened you -- because you were squatting on their property (AA). Then a couple of IRON nations attack you -- in defense of their alliance mate.
  22. Your war screen says otherwise. Yes, you have three wars with IRON nations. But, only two were declared by IRON. The first (chronologically speaking) was declared by your nation, and not anyone in IRON.
  23. You're a bit late for that party, by about four and a half years. That's not going to happen. You're one highly ill-prepared nation. IRON, while I wouldn't be surprised if they have ill-prepared nations, has 293 nations, even at various levels of preparedness. They can afford to keep fighting forever. You can't.
  24. The differences are, IRON threatened you for squatting on their AA (while they could have kicked you, that's not relevant). Instead, they chose not to -- possibly to let you find another alliance, rather than be on the killing fields otherwise known as None, and you instead of just leaving, launch a war against an IRON nation, and call for their destruction, with neither the political clout nor the resources to back it up? Now, if you were to threaten well, almost anyone that's been posting in this thread with war -- most would find it laughable. (I know I would.) I think their ears are off. Or they're looking at things through rage-coloured glasses.
  25. You were on their AA -- and traditionally, (this has been the case for many years now) ghosting an alliance (being on their AA without being a member) has been frowned upon. And as someone that did run the immigration department for a mass recruiting alliance once, at least when I did it years ago, first the ghosts would get asked, then told to either sign up or leave. And when the ghost ignored the 'sign up or leave' then they would get 'leave or you will be attacked'. That you attacked an IRON nation after leaving the AA. Whether or not they had the ability to kick you (which, until recently was not the case), your actions further reinforce that you are nothing more than an ill-prepared rogue. At best.
