1. Will we be seeing Tigris FC return to action in the Castle Fairgrounds Premier League? I swear this time won't be a three game farce for anyone!
2.
wtf 20,000 tech!!??? Is any of that exchangeable with money??
20k tech can easily be funded by a mere two tech banks in the allotted timeframe. FEAR currently have fourteen nations which are in good enough shape to act as banks, disregarding warchests of those beaten down. Personally, I'm not seeing the problem from a technical point of view.
3. I would very much love to live in the same world as you, where comicbook-esque heroes and villains actually exist. At the very least, people would stop moaning so much. Unfortunately, this is the real world. While I'm sure it will be politically prudent for some to paint this as a trap, it's simply not the case, as has been stated by a few people here already, as well as Archon himself elsewhere.
4. No, no, no, you're doing it all wrong. The statistics systems of Ashwinder are evidentally very different to your own! I forsee a sharp rise in war exhaustion stemming from the massive attrition TOP will suffer, marching their armies from defeat to defeat through C&G lands. [OOC] ok, I'll stop, I'm not even good at EU3
5. Of all alliances, I would have thought TOP would be the most likely to be aware of the -2 hit to stability which occurs when declaring war without a CB.
6. When I click the link to see my Moon wonders, no map shows up. My Nation My Moon Map Thinking it through, this started a week or so ago, likely because I tried and fail to manually enter the co-ordinates for one of the bases. Could I please have my map back? I promise to be good and not break it! If there's a solution already posted (I could see this being a fairly common issue (with morons like me)) then I apologise for the repeat thread.
7. there's light at the end of the tunnel guys hold on!!
8. Amaranthine diplomatic efforts have fallen short (and not for the first time either ) so I'm opening this up to everyone. The deal is 6M/150 tech every 10 days. I reiterate, this is a perfect deal for new nations: there's more money for you than from most deals and additionally, the cash comes in every cycle, meaning mistakes don't matter and you'll always be financially secure. Buyer 1: kamichi Buyer 2: SolarS Buyer 3: NAMNero Buyer 4: Hyphenator Buyer 5: Tribute89 Seller 1: Singularity Seller 2: Elina Fox Seller 3: Seller 4: Seller 5: We're aiming to start this on Monday 19th (when our last aid expires) but we are willing to postpone slightly if need be. I'll update the OP once this is posted.
9. Experienced micro-alliance seeks a young alliance of similarly small stature for companionship, casual dating and tech deals. Ever looked around at your tech deal partner and thought to yourself: "I could do so much better."? Well now you can! We are Amaranth - five guys who have been 'round the block a few times and are now looking for someone new. We are all passionate, sensitive and most importantly, willing to give a special someone 6M in return for 150 tech every 10 days. What could possibly be more romantic? Our hearts - and aid slots - will fully belong to each other for as long as we're together! Looking forward to a wonderful future, Amaranth PS. No weirdos. --- Actual Topic This is essentially a 5x5 deal, with each seller recieving 6m and sending 150 tech on the same day, every cycle, (Foreign Ministries required). 6m/150 is a good deal for sellers - especially with the money coming in every 10 days rather than every 30 (as with 3M/100 deals). We are willing to pay more to ensure good service. If you're interested but need more details, feel free to send me a PM or find me in #amaranth on coldfront. PPS. We will sometimes take weirdos! --- Buyers and Sellers Buyer 1: kamichi Buyer 2: SolarS Buyer 3: NAMNero Buyer 4: Hyphenator Buyer 5: Tribute89 Seller 1: Singularity Seller 2: Elina Fox Seller 3: Seller 4: Seller 5:
10. This is correct. Admin intended for the teams to act as alliances - or so the story goes - meaning that there were no alliance functions in the game at all. I can't remember when the AA field was implemented, but early on (pre GW1), the game was changed so that you could put a sanctioned alliance's acronym in your bio to be counted as an in game member. As for tech deals, I know LUEN came up with the concept at one point, before the aid caps. Unfortunately, as with every innovative idea LUEN ever had, it didn't catch on and only a handful tried them out. Oh well. Tech deals were around before aid reasons.
11. I'm fairly sure that everyone in a high position pre-GW1 either regrets ever being a part of it, or they are still around in some form. They were certainly all more literate than you seem to be. Though bros may be debatable at times. But hey, an alliance with a charter written by that author can't be that bad.
12. I ran an MK specific version of something very similar a while back and it actually went very smoothly. Feel free to steal. http://thecastlehall.com/boards/index.php?topic=6795

Hello CN!

This has been entirely spurred on by my application, clearly.
16. This is definitely correct (as it would be coming from Portugal ) . ODN honoured United For Orange despite their intent to cancel it. It's one of the few times I've seen a standard cancellation clause actually followed.

Presenting the The Soviet LUEnion Doctrine New Pink Order was the last. One cannot have a properly stolen house system without four houses after all.

19. The most infuential mechanics change of all time is easily the change in foreign aid. The rule used to be that you could send 1/3 of your current balance per slot with no other limits. You could send five slots of 1/3, going into extreme debt without penalty, with the amount limited only by how much you had stored rather than the base limit we have now. If my memory serves me well, this rule led to a single NPO nation sending out 50m+ in one day (17m per slot) post-GW1, which rebuilt many of their nations almost instantly and left the sender in debt for months. I think it was The Multitude but I'm not sure about that one. Of course, when several other alliances were ready to do the same, the rule was changed to the current 3m max per slot and we all lived sadly ever after.
20. I would be interested in this. PMing in game.
