I didn't say I fought any system, there wasn't any system to fight. If you want to claim the MCXA Govt. at the time was corrupt, that's your claim not mine. If anything, it was a complicated democracy based on tenure & popularity, not the welfare of the alliance and that's not corruption that's plain and simply a broken democracy. I said I supported him when he got into those fights with Govt. but the trials were always done in Backdoor forums/channels. All I knew was what said in public, nothing more. I finally got to see both of NC's trials when I got into Govt. after the formation of TSO. The only reason I made it into Govt, otherwise impossible.

Oh god, the "ethics" argument is getting so old and useless in Planet Bob. Ethics wont play no bigger role in (DoW's) than it has in the past. It's unreasonable because we as humans playing a nation simulation game get bored and constantly have the urge and face the temptations of declaring war. The only thing that stops us are our ambitions for power, the vision of alliance growth and the crude politics of planet bob (i.e the expansive never ending treaty web that connects most alliances together). (Abraham Lincoln)And what that leaves us with is what we think "good" and "bad" are, and that's based on: morals, personal opinion, life experiences, and eventually ethics themselves. The only thing is that "ethics" are things that most of us have to agree with while morals are a bit more personal.

I can relate to a phew things you said there NC, if you do remember I also supported you various times within the MCXA and its politics. Soon enough I saw that fighting the "system" was useless and just quit supporting everyone. Then TSO, then yea... But seeing that Francesca didn't even apologize after all the support you gave him. Well if you don't believe in your own ethics that pretty much makes you a hypocrite. Yea that's pretty much true. I can attest to this because while I was Chancellor of the MCXA, Francesca and others approached me various times on the topic and warning me of what was to come. She was obviously better informed than I was although I was a "higher rank". Needless to say, the battlefield was set 4-6 months before Pacifica declared war on OV, the only thing that was missing was the "who would strike first". Edit: One last thing, although many criticize Karma, Pacifica, and the "Hegemony" many fail to see that there wasn't going to be a war unless one of the sides agreed to be defeated. (Whoever attacked first would loose) Pacifica did just that by declaring on OV. Whether they knew or not what was to come, I don't know. But their fate was sealed from the moment a Pacifian declared on OV.

A very wise move on the part of Athens. Things like that shouldn't be taken lightly and may TSI learn from its mistakes. Best of luck to all parties involved.

No it isn't and MCXA/Sparta had a longtime standing relationship which faltered due to recent events and other factors. QFT I wouldn't exactly call it dead weight. Instead I would call it another treaty amongst many others that wasn't able to survive the drastic changes Planet Bob has gone over in the past 6 months. ...really ? or is this just sarcasm ?

OOC It seems the only thing worth talking about now a days is Pacifica and its history; whether they did wrong and when, and whether Karma gave a good enough punishment to justify their "wrong doings". Most criticize Pacifica, but deep down you all love them for giving this game life over the past 3 years and you all hope Pacifica returns to a high standing as soon as possible to cause more CN drama since the new Karma ideals will surely seek resolution to conflict via diplomatic channels and not war. Pacifica had its way. Yea they committed wrongs, but didn't we all at one point or another....

And from conversations we had last night, we were given the Ok to post the treaty directly from FnKa.

The Prolific Empire Declaration of Existence On this 30th of July, 2009; The Prolific Empire comes into existence under the protection of the FnKa. o/ Article I: Preamble In the spirit of good will and prosperity, the pursuit of friendship, and cooperation, Fear None Kill All (henceforth referred to as FnKa), and The Prolific Empire (henceforth referred to as TPE), do hereby recognize this protectorate agreement as official and agree to all terms and conditions therein, and recognize that TPE shall be deemed a protectorate of FnKa until such a time that TPE may stand independently as a sovereign alliance. That's exactly my point. Initially you made it sound as if he was appointed by the Chancellors which was obviously not the case. You were once appointed, twice elected. And you did a great job getting FA back up, I will never take that away from you but I won't forget the past. Maybe pointing it out here was wrong on my part; I apologize. Yea, I agree.
