Before I even start posting...This probably has been the best thread since errm WF|UED|Mafia thread. You might be on to something there Gopherbashi! That's circumstantial at best but nice try at taking a shot at IRON (and I'm on the ODN treaty side of things ). The matter of the fact is that no one here besides ODN/GGA and maybe IRON knows what truly went on in the infamous "back channels" of CN. If there's anything I've learned while serving in High Govt...no cancellation, regardless of how meaningless, went down for "clean" reasons. There is that one exception of the...well let me not take a cheap shot. It's being called the ODN/IRON ColdWar...who would of imagined ? interesting ;p

Well there are many thruth's that are indisputable in this thread.... TDO should go get friends...fast... When an alliance wants war, they will get it... TDO has an invisible ally ? Secret treaty partner ? (the "you underestimate TDO's abilities" part of the logs... Either way/// the last truth is Neutrality doesn't work in CN, just makes you a bigger target.

It's sad that the Orange Unity Treaty is falling apart...piece by piece...limb by limb....I won't be surprised to see the full disbandment of OUT anytime soon...

I don't think anyone would take a "shot" at Mafia for dishonoring their own treaty. However, if someone were to indeed attack I would hope the other treaties they have be immediately nullified by the other signatories just to show or give a taste to The Mafia of their own medicine. I would highly encourage all of the following treaty signatories whom are allied via MDP/ODP to The Mafia to review these treaties after the recent events that have unfolded over the past phew days... I was on the loosing side of the punching bag and indeed it was not fun at all but I took my punches, fought as hard as I could until the money ran out. I don't think anyone is trying to "bait" Mafia into doing anything. Life and CN is about making choices; Mafia made theirs when they announced the dishonoring of their MDP treaty with UED. They fully well knew the consequences of those actions, for the short term as well as the long term. Good luck signing another MDP treaty in the next 6 months or maybe 12..who knows...All I know is that having an ally that wont stand by you when the odds are against you, is having no ally at all. The least I hope this does is teach Mafia a lesson they should have learned a long time ago...a basic in Alliance Leading...honor your treaties or be shamed by the CN trolls and general membership of CN as well as the many alliance leaders out there whom have witnessed this all unfold. I still lol'd at the topic. Just my opinion...

It seems like OUT is dying....who's next ? On FOK's treaty cancellations: The reasons are completely understandable and they have done the right thing by canceling documents they deem "out of date" or things of that sort. good luck to all

Well, I don't think this flies right now...You do have an MDP level treaty with UED and failure to uphold that agreement speaks for itself I think. Thank you very much, it is indeed an MDP. Yea, I mean if you now say that you weren't aware of the internal problems within UED then you didn't know them well enough to sign such a powerful treaty with them, and even less an MDP. I guess so Gopher, but if Mafia doesn't uphold their agreement, what can UED really do ? Nevertheless it reflects bad on them... I doubt it...would be foolish. It was what we all expected wasn't it ? That is irrelevant now. The question in matter is whether you will uphold your WORDS as written within the MDP level treaty signed by YOUR government and UED's. Edit---- Either way it goes I hope this serves as experience to the government of WF's, UED's, and Mafia's Govt...and good luck after this all blows over...when it blows over.

Indeed, the treaty web, the infamous treaty web that has prevented many wars from happening; regardless of whether the CB was good or not. Finally we all know that when people want WAR, no legit CB is needed. Just turn something into something else and there you go. I'm sure many alliances have stored CB's for when the time is right

Agreed...I don't know the many that have posted in this thread but wars once they get Declared are fatal for both sides but eventually one side gets screwed by loosing and the other one doesn't. I've been in "2 great wars" UJW and Karma...Barely fought on first one UJW, and then lost a lot in the second... People want wars but when Alliance Leaders Declare, they better be prepared to pull their weight. Probably...STA probably brings in Frost in M(A)DP's...and then Kronos brings in as much as they can to fight back...attack any of Frostbite activates all of their MDP's...and same for Kronos allies... I disagree..most of us knew Karma was going to happen, the date merely had to arrive and then after the DoW was posted...we all knew who the winner was... There wont be any "just" causes to rally behind anymore...the "evil vicious overlords" once known as NPO arent the target anymore...and we all know TOP has always been an advocate of peace. It shows when they were involved in the mediating between STA/Kronos... I know this first hand..We(MCXA Gov) nearly Declared war on TSO and TOP by relation... but they trully are great mediators, w/o TOP's mediation...MCXA/TSO would have went to war... ie: TSO/MCXA drama way back... IMO: The next future wars wont have trully "just" causes...just the usual CB's... (Spying, Rogues, Insults, etc.)

hmmm, I wonder...then again... You heard that rumor too ? Yea, I guess...this treaty has lived now for over a year..and I foresee its Disbandment sooner rather than later. Like someone said before...it's merely a piece of what it once was, and it kind of shows the growing division on the Aqua sphere (maybe), I don't know. About that DoW, i hear its Pending. lol
