I have OOC friendships with people I know in Real Life this is a freakin computer game... All of our relationships are quite simply IC, that said my statements here are in relation to CN, should the person Francesca wish to talk to me about something not CN related that would be fine, but our relationship has really never been based on any non CN related qualities. Unlike say my friendship with Gonefishin who is definitely my enemy on this game, but I'm happy to discuss rap music with him because because I find it stimulating. But that is a relationship I have with the person of (OOC name), and is completely irrelevant for any dealings we may have on the Cybernations forum, where I hate him and everything he and his alliance stand for.

After MCXA's forums were deleted I rewrote most of MCXA's guides, and to my knowledge you are still using those guides, go read them, especially the war guide. Feel free to dislike me, but please dislike me for something I have actually done, I mean it is certainly true that I gave out anti MCXA sentiments after I was chased out with pitchforks, but that's hardly being traitorous. That's actually common sense The most disturbing part of her spying is that it began before any intent or interest was given for these political goals. According to her account to me she began spying after I was expelled as revenge against sam and the others responsible for that incident and any noble goals came later. A great deal of fuss has been made over the these "political parties", in reality the extent of any political party we had was quite minor, the only actions we took were realizing that we wanted the same things and could better bring about those changes by working together; endorsing each other and contacting sympathetic voters and explaining to them why we felt that moving away from Pacifica was necessary and explaining how we and certain other people who were running would work toward accomplishing this goal. Moralize about it all you want, but I've done the EXACT SAME THING in RL and not one person has ever accused me of being a traitor to the United States of America for it. Calling us an organized political party is absurd, we had no unified agenda, no leader, no charter, and had nothing more than an informal agreement to cooperate in campaigning for goals we shared. The villainization of those involved was pure hyperbole used by those in power at the time to get rid of a political threat. As an example all we had truly done (at most) was violate election regulations, this is something jimmy2e himself had done only two election cycles before when he mass messaged members and then was removed from the electoral process, as I recall he was furious at how unfair this ruling was....but only 4 months later he was shouting for our removal for violating a rule of the same power, this is why clowns like jimmy2e are not to be taken seriously, his hypocrisy over shines even that of Francesca. Anyway for the last time this isn't about me being sad or whining about being taken advantage of, it's about me being sad that a former friend was unable to control herself and act with maturity and at least some kernel of consistency and restraint. It's always unfortunate when you drift so far apart from a friend that you find them as your enemy and they are hurting you and don't seem to care. While it's unfortunate it took me so long to come to the decision to respond it does not mean I was "played", it simply means I was more forgiving than I ordinarily am, and it ended up not helping. Shame too, I gave her an explicit warning that if she continued on this path not only would everyone else in the world came to hate, but eventually so would I several months. Unfortunately my words fell on deaf ears, perhaps sometime in the future someone she respects more will explain to her that every time she acts pretentious and self righteous it irritates other people.

Many of you seem to have misunderstood my motives. I do not deserve your pity nor do I want it, I made this post for only two reasons. 1) I am largely responsible for creating the Francesca of today, before I began to teach her and help her overcome her fears she was just a nice member who caused no headaches, it seems I was only able to pass on my negative qualities to her, though and now I am left feeling responsible for unleashing her on the world, and for that you all have my apologies. 2) I have in the past backed her quite vehemently on these forums and made statements suggesting I would always do so, given her (especially recent) wanderings off into innane and downright stupid ramblings I felt it best to make it clear I no longer endorsed anything she said. Also I find it amusing how some TSO people seem to think I'm coming around, nothing could be farther from the truth. I'm simply recognizing that I have yet another enemy. I have very few regrets and tearing clowns like Ololiqui and TFS new orifices are certainly not among them. Well since nobody has noticed that I Godwin'ed myself in the very beginning I'm going to call this a success:p I would be honored:) meh... I saw something someone had written a few days ago in reference to a discussion about the proper attitude for a martial artist. "Be polite, be courteous, be prepared to kill anyone you meet." While it may be a little bit too paranoid for real life, I've come to think it's certainly a credo to live by in CN. Please elaborate? ...and I'm not quitting CN (yet) if that's what you think. No offense intended, but who are you? And how do you know so much about me/my relationship with Francesca? Shame isn't it? Ah well, you are right of course, but sadly sometimes it becomes impossible to separate the two, and frankly mixing becomes the only way to make sense.

I've spent over 2 years now in CN, and about 9 times that in RL. In this time I have experienced many things, from building my first nuke, to learning to driving a car, to seeing the election of Barack Obama, to learning how to differentiate trig functions. In this time, I steadily learn more about human beings, and one thing I have found is that the more self righteous a person is, the more they talk about honor, ethics, power, or justice the less they know about each of those things. I watched an election unfold last year, where honor was the buzzword used to cover the candidate in a campaign which used slander as a campaign strategy. Is slandering your opponent and appealing to racial prejudice the honorable way to win? Listen to a speech of Hitler's or Osama Bin Laden's one day, and you will recognize the self righteous pride and confidence flowing through them, because they are so sure there path is the honorable one, and so they wrap themselves in honor and ethics, then pervert them freely for their own agenda. CN is no different. In my time on CN I have made ethical claim, I have said EZI is wrong, I have said tech raiding is wrong... Yet as I matured I came to see the errors of my actions, I may find EZI to be distasteful but who am I to say it is wrong? I have learned that I am no moral God who can preach to the world the ethics they should follow, but I can make myself the best example I can be of whatever type of ethic I prescribe too, and I can choose my friends based on how they behave, and that finally brings me to the reason for making this thread. I have long based my actions on many things, certainly including greed, ambition, and anger, but one thing I have tried to do is to always keep my IC and OOC seperated and never allow my OOC feelings for a person cause me to support them IC when I should not. I look at people objectively, and have in the past turned on friends who chose to be unloyal or who tried to harm me. Those are always sad times, but a friend who cannot be trusted is an enemy, and all the more dangerous for being close to you. However for the last few months I have allowed my feelings to cloud my judgement and I have tacitly and directly supported Francesca of Renazia in a variety actions, which range from annoying, to treason and personal betrayal. I have not done any of this for my personal gain, I have not done it because I felt it was right, I have it because my judgement was clouded by personal feelings and my objectivity was nonexistant. Sadly I am short on facts, but I am not proving a court case, I am spinning a story, of betrayal and hypocrisy. Should you choose not to belive it, then do not, but I have no motive to lie in this situation. It all started in January, I was engaging in a political fight for my life inside the MCXA, I had resigned from the government in protest of various actions and talked with a number of supporters as I carefully prepared a smear campaign against an enemy of mine. Francesca saw my thread and took it upon herself to PM me, explaining how much she respected me and wanted to help me due to my mistreatment, and going on to offer that she had also suffered mistreatment at the hands of those I was now battling. I immediately saw a potential ally and took her under my wing and allowed her to join my group preparing for the next MCXA elections. The birthing of TSO etc. is an entirely different issue and one I feel no need to delve into at this time, I shall merely state that for this time until early April Francesca was nothing, but a loyal friend and ally to me. During our time in the MCXA post TSO Francesca steadily grew more and more radical, and became friends with the player Maxfiles. I did not care for him at first but at Francesca's urging I gradually accepted him and supported him to run in the government. Now they created a political party (against MCXA rules) which I chose to support though I was privy to little of their discussions. I did agree to support them in elections and they did work campaigning for me, but they sometimes concerned me with their radical support of VE, and willingness to ignore the workings of our government should it suit them. The most alarming case was when they came to me suggesting that after I was elected Chancellor we should wait until the eve of the Karma war, and then I should put up the other two Chancellors and non-cooperative high Council members up for impeachment (removing their powers until the end of the several day impeachment process) I quickly stomped that idea out as I felt it was just too excessive. I share it only as an example of what Francesca's ethics and honor were like, she was eager to corrupt the Democratic government of the MCXA so that she could violate treaties and bring us into war against the New Pacific Order. No doubt she wanted the same outcome I did, but I wanted it to be a Democratic decision and on many occasions I worked to create the type of support it would need to be arrived at Democratically (obviously I failed). But to put it simply I'm a !@#$%^& and I claim to be one, power hungry, greedy, and ambitious. Yet little miss ethics and honor was eager to go to extremes that made even me uncomfortable. Now move a little further ahead on the eve of MCXA's elections Maxfiles betrayed Francesca and accused her of being a spy for Vox Populi. At Francesca's urging and request I jumped to her defense and made a massive public propaganda attack on Maxfiles. The end result of this was him conspiring with political opponents in MCXA get me removed from the alliance. Now jump ahead about a month... Francesca publicly announces and celebrates her career as a Vox spy. I was furious, but I remembered our friendship and swallowed my anger and even publicly defended her. She never once apologized to me for so blatantly using me, or asked for my forgiveness, but for some reason I gave it to her. Continue on in time... Francesca was constantly making incredibly stupid public displays and then when she was rightly attacked for them, she would ask me to defend her, which I would dutifully do each time. I'm sure all of you are aware of them, but if you care to search for threads started by Francesca you can easily find them. In this time she does nothing but wax on about honor and morals and ethics, even as she betrays VE, ads her (supposedly) sworn enemy NPO, and then suddenly does an about face and joins NPO to begin spouting their propaganda. Well whatever her future may hold it won't be me. The spell has been broken, and I will never again allow myself to follow someone who so brazenly wraps themselves in intangible things like honor or ethics especially while ruthlessly going after anyone who annoys them and changes loyalties like new sets of clothes violating their own supposed principles on a daily basis without so much as a second thought. Shame I never got to say goodbye to my friend from last February and March, but whoever Francesca is today, she is no friend of mine. Those most vocal about ethics, honor, or morals are those who have the fewest, remember this every time someone speaks, and when Francesca or Sarah Palin come and tell you about behaving ethically, laugh in their face. tl;dr If your attention span is so short you can't even read my OP you should quit CN and go play HALO.

Francesca, stating the obvious 4 months later and thinking it's some huge revelation... Seriously, this was always about vengeance and few in Karma made any attempt to hide that, (at least it was for the core alliances), of course there were alliances not in it for vengeance like TOP, Sparta, MHA, etc. but frankly they joined late and they did that because they were just rats fleeing the sinking hegemony ship and jumping on the somewhat more seaworthy Karma ship. Perhaps a few people thought they were fighting for ethics, but probably 90% were in it for revenge or fear of looking like they supported the other side and getting taken down themselves. As for your questions of why Karma members followed their leadership, well quite bluntly it was their vendetta too. As a former member of Vox Populi I would hope you know this, but unlike Pacifica or MCXA many alliances are full of active members fully aware of what's going on and chomping at the bit for a fight with their enemies. I can certainly tell you that in MK not 1 person went to war because Archon told us to, we went to war because we wanted to and Archon said it would be okay. Perhaps you are just bitter because you felt you were coerced into fighting for an "unrighteous" cause during your time in Vox Populi and the Veridian Entente, but that is not how most people feel. And it would be wise for you not to assume others are like you, because frankly they are not. Most people have a cause and stick to to it, most people are not so squeamish as to bail the moment their is talk of reparations, and most people have plenty of good reasons for fighting without needing to be manipulated by anyone.

LoweAlpine was a good guy, but the last thing he needs is people mourning that he left CN. If any of you actually care about him you would be glad, and you would hope he never tries to come back. Also rogueing is a perfectly legitimate action and I'm always amused by people trying to condemn it.

Raiding is by it's very nature an attack meant to steal items, an attack meant to destroy the targets nation is not a raid, it is a war. War itself is fine, but should always come with a declaration of purpose or intent. [OOC]When you bust open a bank and take the money you are a thief, set a series of car bombs which kill hundreds of people and then rob the bank during the commotion you are a terrorist.[OOC] Quite simply you are a !@#$%, and if you want to just destroy stuff admit it and don't hide behind terms like raiding, because that sure isn't what IS is doing, nor what your are/were planning to do.

CG, but not because I have any problem with raiding. What I do have a problem with is that IS used spy attacks, bombers, and CMs violating every established rule of raiding etiquette. I raid, but I always just hit with GAs and send peace launching other attacks that just cause shows this wasn't a raid, but an unprovoked war without a DoW. Now it's clear that IS was the aggressor and did not even have the courtesy of offering a CB (however weak it may/may not have been).

Permit me to correct my earlier statement. TOP has not fought any serious wars since I joined this game over two years ago... Since then you've fought what Polar war and Karma? Well I fought against NpO too and I certainly wouldn't call it a serious war, NpO just rolled over. As for your action in the Karma war, well you didn't exactly pull the same weight that other alliances of similar sizes did. Regardless two years with little or no major wars is plenty of time to build up a darn strong nation, and I know that because that's precisely what I've done.
