2.
Who needs class when you're hanging with GOONS?
who needs[s] hanging [/s]pandoras box when you're classy like Schattenmann?
 3.
Says you, a man who managed to alienate all his friends and allies through insufferable condescension and grasped defeat from the hands of victory--twice. I'll tell you what I told Ejay in private. If either of these parties defined their operations in a manner other than a self-righteous crusade that is "the start of something bigger" I'd tip my hat and go about my business. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. Rather, they're making suicide charges with the delusion that GOONS will suddenly have a change of heart and change their charter or that their allies will flee from the controversy. That isn't going to happen. The contrary has occurred. They've provided GOONS multiple opportunities to present themselves as resilient, logical, and measured. GOONS seized these opportunities and has done just that, winning over previously skeptical alliances and groups. GOONS are not weakened by these assaults--they're strengthened. "Guts" and false "belief" are insufficient to generate actual change and, in this case, are being blatantly counter-productive. But who knows, maybe it'll turn out I'm wrong. I was wrong about Vox, after all. But in this case, I doubt it. I'm afraid of actually continuing our conversation. We might crash the forums with the sheer quantities of smug each of us command and can utilize against one another.
this is the most sensible thing i've read all day - Ejayrazz, take a note of this and do something about it Totally agree with this 100%
 4.
I already answered this stupid tripe, stooge. You'll call in allll yourrr friendsss cause you can't fight for yourself. Can you do something about THAT!?! That's what makes you a coward. See how that works?
This is where you fail. GOONS said do something about it. (with no conditions about who else gets involved) Ninjas/FnKA have done something about it. (again, no conditions or comments about who else gets involved) Ninja's / FnKA wanted this fight. You can't bawwwwwwwwww when other people get involved.
 5. Poison Clan will hereby harbor any [s]rogues[/s] nations who wish to hit Kerberos Nexus.
 6.
Not sure where you got that from, but we will continue to provide sanctions for those routine matters which fit normal criteria, just as we always have.
Could this be yet more mis-representation of facts from Mr Schattenmann? A Rogue! Sanction him!
 7.
When did the planet start using sanctions in alliance wars?
The alliance is simply a group of people with grievances against raiding alliances (namely GOONS) because you (NPO) have allowed them to prosper without sanction.
 8. Exhibit A Link #1 Shows the entire of the alliance that methrage is in is warring MK and GOONS. Exhibit B This link contains a list of nations which have been hit by nuclear weapons by methrage's alliance These current round of wars have no CB, are nuclear, you could say the entire alliance has gone rogue. Why no sanction, NPO?
 9.
The New Pacific Order does not own the Red Sphere. Once upon a time, we would have said that we do, but those days are long gone. The New Pacific Order signed a treaty, called the Red Dawn Treaty, that requires coordination and unified policy on matters of trades, economic interactions and the Senate of the Red Sphere. A Senate sharing policy was put in place. Beefspari, of GOONS, contacted the New Pacific Order through one of my officers regarding this sanction. Red Dawn deliberated, and we decided not to grant the sanction. I contacted Beefspari when Beefspari left a message for me to contact them through one of my Imperial Officers. The conversation between Beefspari and myself demonstrates that Beefspari still believes that the NPO owns the Red Sphere. We do not. We share the Red Sphere with a multiplicity of alliances, most of whom have unified their policies on matters such as the Senate through the Red Dawn treaty. While Beefspari repeatedly attempts to elicit my personal and my alliance's views on matters, those views are irrelevant. The New Pacific Order's views on rogues and sanctioning are the views of Red Dawn, and the views of Red Dawn have been most adequately stated privately to the relevant parties and publicly in this thread.
What you're actually saying here, is that if anyone wants to come to red and hit GOONS, we will allow that. You don't own the red sphere, but you do have a majority control of the red sphere.
 10. How disappointing Schattenmann, using out of date info and presenting it in anti-goons style. I wonder how GOONS raids compare to another raiding alliance, e.g. PC, Kronos and non-raiding alliances e.g. NpO
 11. o/ ye guys be certainly growing! Awesome fleet o/ tLW
 12.
It appears that any aid deals from 10 days ago listed in the aid statistics download are marked as "Approved" (etc.), when they should be marked as "Expired". ie. The statistics download from yesterday (9/14/2010) contains aid deals from 9/4/2010 which are listed as "Approved", when all deals from 9/4/2010 should have been expired by that point.
I suspect that because the files get updated at 6am and 6pm, between update and 6am, the download is technically a day out of date (e.g. even though it's the 16th, it'll be the download from 6pm on the 15th (server time of course) resulting in what would appear to be out of date information Aid deals last 10 days and don't expire until the next day (just like wars) so if the foreign aid was made on the 14th, it doesnt actually expire until the 15th. Edit: I reread the OP
 13. Have you looked throughthis thread to find out whether it has already been reported? post should probably be in that thread anyway
 14. Too much focus on stats. If a nation cant be bothered to sign up on a forum they dont deserve to be in your alliance.

 16. o/ To our friends! o/ Jacko o/ Choader o/ Privateers! Good luck!
 17.
Marx was impeached, he was not removed from tri due to the majority of the current membership supporting him.
Please clarify whether the "current membership" was before or after you lost half your alliance to SLCB? Because, if its after then its no vote at all, is it?
 18. fyi, Venomous Larvae is the training AA for Poison Clan, also would appreciate a "self hosted" option for people who choose not to go with free forum software.
 19.
The nation of Kevanovia refuses to acknowledge the "alliance" of Planeteers. The government officials of Kevanovia are often angry with charters without substance, but not having one at all leads to anarchy and chaos. We wish the nations the best of luck, but will refuse any trades or any embassies with these nations claiming to be apart of an alliance. Good Day.
The alliance of poison clan refuses to acknowledge the nation of Kevanovia. the government officials of PC are often angry with people who are arrogant. Comments such as these lead to anarchy and chaos.
 20.
There is always the chance that PC will attack Polaris...or do I just live in hope these days?

Isn't just you my friend.
Did you guys learn nothing from the last war?
 21.
How the times change, huh? The AA is a symbol to some people who get very fussy when they see it stepped on. I've learned to never underestimate the lengths people will go to protect a symbol they hold dear. I suppose this is just the cost of tech raiding, sometimes you step on landmines and you just have to scratch your head and wonder why so many people care about one incident and seem to not care about the next. That said, I'm not sure why you find it so surprising that people get cranky and disagreeable when they are attacked. I know from talking to you that you're a pretty nice guy, so I'm sure that if you can put yourself in their shoes for a second you won't have much trouble figuring out where their attitude comes from. I've attacked enough people and been attacked by enough people to know that no one likes to be attacked, whatever the reason. Over time I've come to understand that you're very, very rarely going to be applauded as you chip away at someone's infrastructure. After a while, it becomes pretty easy to understand and eventually accept their bitter attitude and push the limits of your patience beyond what you thought possible. I think in your line of work you'll find that patience and tolerance will be extremely useful in dealing with the extra issues created by raids gone wrong going forward. Hello Mr. Kettle. Hello Mrs. Glass Floor (House?). Sorry to see you two are still passing for retorts these days. Far be it from us and our deeply damaged PR to tell GOONS how to impose the moral law of civility (seriously, what the heck is that, Grump? Let's stick with moral law or civility next time just to be concise). It's clear that you don't want my advice and can figure out the value of civility on your own. I'm glad to see we all finally agree that such values are worth fighting for, even if you think GOONS (or someone else) is more suited to carry the cause than I am. That's really all that matters to me. I'm sure I'll be seeing Mr. Kettle and Mrs. Glass Floor again very soon so I won't belabor our parting any further. Farewell, friends!
It's the glass floor because if you jump up and down too hard it breaks. Glass house would insinuate that another party is involved to break the glass and that's not the case here.
