250 million? I would say Valhalla is definitely justified in demanding more meaningful reparation, probably 50 tech to each member who entered Peace Mode. Do not forget, this little adventure probably disrupted virtually every tech trade in their alliance. The loss of income for trade/improvement swaps is probably negligible in comparison (less than 250 million, for sure, given only the 45 largest alliances entered Peace Mode).

You know what would be funny (and tragic)? If we discover that the 45 PMed Valhallans lack a sense of humor.

I guess if you're going to surrender half of your tech, you best do it after you hit the other side as hard as you can. Unless you actually care about your warchests. Because if you don't have enough to rebuild after the war... game over, TOP.

To be honest, TOP and co. started this war, so it would be silly for them to demand that C&G quit it. C&G has the right to continue this war with their valid CB (being pre-emptively attacked) until the very last TOP nation is a smoldering ruin. They also can well refuse an unconditional surrender from TOP (that is, no quarter). EDIT: Obviously though, I hope that this conflict comes to a close immediately, which does not seem likely given the sizes of both sides' warchests.
